Elevators shook a lot and felt unsafe. Pool is closed. They shouldn't advertising there's a pool if no ones allowed to use it. I think covid is over enough that people can surely swim in a pool loaded with BLEACH!

Our family stay was really nice. The lobby area and suite was comfortable and cleanliness was on point. The only complaint would be the pool was green/closed (end of May 2024) and had to request blanket/comforter for the pull out bed. The cover was delivered quite quickly though. Breakfast was nice and morning staff very friendly.

Very goid stay but one of yhe elevators did not work causing an inconvenience for getting to the room. Very goid breakfast and the room was very clean. There were some holes in thd room thdt needed to be fixed and some lights thst were not working

Prior to check in, the front desk sent me an email encouraging me to use self check in. They provided me with very clear instructions which in turn expedited my check in process. Upon arrival, the front desk lady was very friendly and cheerful and put a smile on my face. It’s obvious she enjoys her job and has most likely been working there for many years (simply due to her efficiency). Common areas of the hotel are all in meticulous condition and my room was exactly as expected. Comfortable beds, ample windows/window coverings, mini fridge and a nice bathroom with all of the necessary fixens. I appreciated the guest laundry and the fact that there was s side door, making for a much more efficient and straightforward departure. Hotel is nicely tucked away on a quiet street less than a 5 minute walk to several food stores, restaurants and fast food chains. I had no security concerns although I would encourage prospective guests to pay particular attention to the location as it’s by no means in the center of downtown. The only thing I’d dock points for would be the elevators. I’ve been in 100 year old buildings that have had faster lifts. They were so slow I honestly felt I was going back in time. All in all, 9.5/10 - well done!

Internet didn't work on the 7th floor. They moved us to the first floor so we could connect. Phone in our first room didn't work. Coin operated guest laundry machines didn't work. Breakfast wss marginal, slow to replenish empty serving trays. Nice people at desk, but the place is a little run down.

This is a great property, It would be nice to enter a room that does not smell of mold, and also not see mold. There are MANY items in the general service area that are in disrepair. This needs fixing and updating. Service is always great, but the facilities need attention

I had booked this location since it was close to the art museum I got in and was met by a frazzled manager who said the key card system was down They could walk me to my room but could not leave and lock the door She then suggested the Hilton but they were booked up So she said just go along and see where another hotel was

The floors in the room were filthy. My grandson spilled some water when we first arrived and I used a towel to dry it and the towel was black. I told the staff and she didn’t seem to care, just said she’d tell housekeeping and if she did they never came up to clean.

The staff were friendly but the hotel is dirty and poorly maintained. Floors not swept or vacuumed. Trash cans overflowing for days. Spills and sticky floors in the elevators not cleaned up well. I nevet saw anyone in four days wiping down or sanitizing the breakfast area. The first night i turned on the shower brown water shot out -probably rust. I felt everything needed a through cleaning and disinfecting.

No the first room we had wasn’t clean go. Bed linen was dirty and bathroom wasn’t clean up good. Staff was courtesy they immediately put us in another room and apologized for the inconvenience.

Everything was great except the curtains. The curtains aren’t designed to cover the area above tge air conditioning unit. There is a sheer white curtain that does not allow for sleeping in. I had 3 clothespins with me and it helped some.

The front desk person was very rude. I had to call her on the phone to get her, when I was checking in, because she had gone in the back. I waited there for her to come out for about 5 minutes before calling. She was nasty for the rest of my stay.

We showed up for the marathon, tried to check in at 5:30pm and our room wasn’t ready. We couldn’t get in until 6:30. We asked for a late check out so we could have a place to shower after the race - we figured it would be fair compensation for the late check in - and they refused. It’s run down and not worth the money, as well as tremendously disorganized.

We checked in on Friday night. There was only 2 washcloths, 2 hand towels, and 2 bath towels in bathroom. There were no Kleenex or paper products in the room to wipe our hands on after washing our hands the entire weekend. We used the wash cloths and bath towels Friday night. Got up Saturday morning there were no towels. Front desk could not give any more towels until Sunday because house keeping don’t come in but every other day that’s what customer service at front desk told me. They had no other way to give us towels. So we had no towels to use at all on Sunday. She did say Housekeeping would be in around 9:30 Sunday morning but we were getting ready to check out at 9:30.

There was a problem with our room. We had booked a suite but were given a standaed. They didn't hesitate to fix the problem. They didn't have another suite so they gave us an extra room at no extra charge. We were very grateful for that.

The front desk employee was rude, he spoke to me in a derogatory tone. He accused me of not following policy. He also gave rude expressions to myself and my family. While my wife was returning to the room the front desk employee peered over the counter and stared her down from the time she clicked the button to open the elevator until the doors closed completely. While my family was having breakfast he stared at us and made us feel uncomfortable. While checking out he kept getting an attitude as if i had done something wrong. While the room was unclean and damaged in certain areas as well. I paid all deposits prior to checking in including the pet fee. I was very dissatisfied with my stay.

Staff was absolutely horrible. The lady at the front desk was absolutely awful. Very rude extremely disrespectful and obviously miserable human being. Staff also were right outside of lobby smoking weed. Extremely unprofessional. We travel a lot and this had to be the worst staff I’ve ever experienced.

If you need to run to Jackson, MS, for a two to three day errand, here’s a dependable hotel right off I-55. Adjacent to the Coliseum and nearly within walking distance to the state Capitol, Hampton Inn is perfect.

I was there at the Trade Mart for 2 days conference. The Hampton Inn and Suites were 1.4 miles from the Trade Mart Building and very convenient to go back and forth. I recommend this location to anyone that is visiting the Trade Mart or Coliseum.

The staff was AMAZING. Each staff member was kind and friendly. I felt SAFE! There was a big fair going on and the hotel had a guard at the entrance. I'm Olivia, Vincent's wife. I was traveling alone.

The hotel is located right off the highway and near downtown so it was a good location. I felt safe. The hotel was just worn and needed updating. The room was clean, staff helpful and friendly and the breakfast had lots of options. It was just a worn out hotel

Comfortable and Clean. Staff were nice. Breakfast was standard. Not a lot of variety. Dining around the hotel is poor. Nothing close by other than a Wendy’s and Subway, which I don’t prefer. I wish the hotel offered dinner.
