Really appreciated that there are charging ports for electric vehicles, we were able to charge will we stay d the night. Nice big sized bed and room, loved that the hotel complimentary shampoo/conditioner was dove and not some generic cheap brand. Only downside was that the carpets felt a little sticky.

Let me start by saying the staff was EXCELLENT. They were courteous, polite, kind, and did the best they could. The hotel itself was understaffed. There was no room service at all. They didn’t have replacement towels when I asked for them. The trash by the ice machine was overflowing — for multiple days. There was no trash can in my room, so I had to take the trash to the one by the ice machine, so I knew it wasn’t emptied… The gate to let you out of the parking lot wouldn’t open… I truly dislike leaving bad reviews and would much rather leave a great one… so that’s why I put that the staff was truly excellent. There wasn’t a rude or unkind person at all… I’m not going to even talk about the breakfast bar — let’s just say DoorDash will bring it to your door. Very unlikely to stay again

Everything was good except none of the ice machines working and the carpet seems to smell a little due to humidity.

Need to fix the ice machines.

The hotel is in need of renovation. The room is showing a lot of wear with scuffs and chipped paint. There are several EV chargers, but only two of them worked and even those were on a loose mounting post and appear to have run into a few times.

The staff are good, it’s just the parking lot is horrible and unsafe! There are several pot holes and the whole lot desperately needs to be repaved.

I stayed here because they listed an EV vehicle charger for an amenity. When I went to charge, I noticed the charging cable had been cut on 1 charger and the other just didn't work. Had I known they didn't work, I would have stayed somewhere else. My room smelled like body odor and weed. It was disgusting and unbearable. I wish I had changed hotels it was so bad. The rooms are not kept up well. And the area felt unsafe.

Bathroom door off the hinge, couldn’t close it. Elevators felt like at any moment it would not work, front desk area felt dingy, pillows / blankets felt damp not all the way dry. Other holiday inn and suites have food / drinks at the front desk for purchase — this hotel had little to no options for anything. Parking lot blocked by 18wheeler with a load of cars on it. Front desk personnel was very short in conversations, even though we’re IHG members — Overall experience was not great. I would not return to this establishment. Did not take pictures, did not think about it. Room 318 was where the issues were.

The place is ok, understaffed. Gym was closed, I booked here because of the gym. Bed sheet, though clean, was stained. A/C in room couldn’t be controlled as buttons didn’t work, so I froze.

Check in was easy. Super nice staff! Bed was so comfortable! Did not enjoy the mold in the bathroom!!!

We had a room on the first floor. It was spacious, two queen beds. My son went to use the toilet and it had urine in it already (not ours), he tried to flush it before using. The toilet didn’t flush, the chain was disconnected from the flap. The front desk clerk fixed it. My son used it and the chain immediately became disconnected again after one flush. I fixed it. It appeared someone had used a paper clip to fix the chain previously. The very next flush it came off again. I fixed it again and had to twist the paper clip part and it stayed on. The tub appeared to have a dried film on its surface. The shower drain also drained very slowly and would the tub would fill almost completely when showering, it was very slippery. The lighting is dark in the room. There are only 2 scones by the mirror. And one of ours was burnt out. So we had one sconce. There were two lamps elsewhere in the room but they were not bright. The TV screen had a line running down from top to bottom where the display was broken, it was a long white line. Breakfast was complimentary and a decent selection. There was a sign for fruit, but there was never any fruit, we were there for three mornings. Bed was comfortable. Mini fridge and microwave in room.

Must have had a wedding or some sort of function going on when I arrived for check in. There was no parking available, lots of people in the lobby. Room was clean but for the bathroom. There was hair in the sink and what appeared to be pubic hair in the tub. I don’t think I’d stay here again

DO NOT STAY HERE UNDER ANY CONDITION. If I could give 0 stars I would. Checked in. Got to the room, absolutely unsafe. My door lock was carved into and every room on the floor had this exact same thing (see pics) I immediately leave. Not only is the hotel unsafe the area is very rough. I go to leave and the front desk said they’ll cancel it. I leave. I go to another hotel and the front desk said at that one that they wouldn’t even have stayed there. I’m a young woman. And a grown man said he wouldn’t stay there where it’s located. Immediately entering my room felt unsafe. My room was barely clean. The comforter had stains on it. The ottoman was falling apart. The front of the hotel/hang over of the entrance was literally falling down. Barely any lights in the lobby. Elevator felt/looked like a prison. So I cancel and they refuse to refund me too. I booked 2 nights and they won’t refund either night. Manager is impossible to get on the phone to return a call. They only work 9-3. No wonder this place is awful. Manager is never there to regulate it. Do not stay here unless you want to feel like you will be robbed the whole night and that your car will be broken into. I was in the building for maybe 15 minutes and truly felt unsafe. Good luck.

The first room we were assigned has feces on the commode. Liquid on floor in front of vanity. Shower curtain was sour smelling from being wet. They gave us another room. Impossible for us to stay in. Smoked in. Cigars. Third room. Room was damp. Clamy feeling. Tub drained slowly. Generally unclean. Sticky floors. Just not good.

The room looked liked it had not been cleaned in days. The walls were dusty, half of roll of tissue, toilet overflow, hallway smelled terrible, and someone entered our room after we left because the door was opened when we arrived.

This hotel needs to be cleaned and updated so badly. Everything is dirty and smells awful.

The room had a smoke smell to it, the carpet was nasty & sticky. The linens had stains, the couch did too with puncture holes in the furniture. Bathroom had no towels, no functioning soap dispenser and the bathroom door would stick because it looked like the room had water damage bad. Sinks would slowly drain. The bathroom had rust on the trim and evey fixture somehow had a dusty residue on everything. TV never worked in bedroom and intermittently the front room tv would work. Only a couple of outlets worked for us to charge our devices. There was only one ice machine that worked for the whole place. Now keep in mind we got the last double Queen suite and that was only because we prepaid. There was another family that came in after us very upset the hotel gave away their room. The reasoning was that they didn’t prepay which I was so shocked so asking to move was not even an option. The breakfast was okay but even going down at 6:45am they didn’t have things to serve. The pancake maker was broken too. Needless to say the pictures of property do not match what the hotel actually looks like. Now the staff was very nice but everything was lacking.

Major complaint is the bed was very hard and not comfortable at all.

Stayed here several times going back to 2019 and the room condition has greatly deteriorated. Hair dryer and room phone did not work, shower faucet and lever control were loose in the stall wall. Room was not very clean. Won't be going back.

Every time we saw her she was sitting in the lobby on her phone. The outside is nice but the rooms are outdated.

Comfortable rooms. Easily accessible from Interstate. Hotel could use some updates.

Room was rundown with lamps that did not work and frayed furniture

We have stayed here 3 times total so far and have been very very pleased with our overall stay each time. I will always give it 5 stars! The only downfall, and this is because of MY OWN preference, the beds are firm. I personally like a soft plush bed and so does my husband but that’s the only thing we don’t love..but like I said, that’s just our preference.

The hallways where noisy you could hear the doors close every time people go inside and leave their rooms and you can hear people talking in the hallways

The staff during my stay was TOP notch! She was attentive and polite. She took pride in her work. They ALL did! My room was clean. The breakfast was fabulous! The room was spacious enough, but my air didn't seem to work appropriately. 🙃 I was only in my room to sleep, so I didn't report it.

My husband and I always travel and stay at different hotels. What we’ve learned is that prepay and pay at property are two different policies. We were not aware of the pay at property policy that allowed for this hotel to charge before we checked in. Was not happy about it but talked to hotels.com and ok with the response. The manager was not very cheerful when greeting us. We got to our room and immediately knew we were not staying there. The odor was of old mildew, the sheets had stains and didn’t smell clean, the water was brown, the toilet did not work, as we had to place water in back of it to flush it. Managers response was that it was a different type of flushing system. We asked and received a different room that night. The reason for the 2 stars was for the over all experience, although my husband rated at 0 stars. The esthetics of the hotel was not worth the 5 star rating that was presented in the reviews when booking, otherwise we would not have stayed there. The managers responses throughout this experience was borderline professional. It was more robotic and not apologetic at all…. It was more of a it is what it is affect.

Hotel staff not engaging slow service. Lack of staff for check in. Front desk staff met customers wearing sweat pants with white t-shirts and flip flops. Staff Listening to music or you tube videos on ear pod and not helping customers

We had a great stay. Easy check-in

The front desk had friendly staff. We went to Jackson for a Volleyball tournament. They said every room was booked. We had a suite and checked in with 4 people but only had 2 towels in our room. I asked for more but they wouldn’t give them to us until we turned in our two dirty towels. Again, we had 4 people staying in a room and only given 2 towels at a time. Mind blown. Breakfast was decent, not too noisy, parking was fine and we felt safe so all in all it was an OK stay but just annoying that we had to share towels.

Close to State Capital & Civil Rights museums. Hot and cold options for breakfast with several protein options. Dehumidifier in room helped keep the stickiness out of the room. Room was clean and comfortable. Check in staff was very welcoming.

We stayed here to go to a rodeo and concert at the coliseum. We were able to park and walk to the concert.

It was not in a nice area. The staff was very nice, but the area was very run down.

We were in town for a livestock show and was very convenient for our commute to and from fairgrounds. We will definitely stay again.

It was a fine place. I didn’t necessarily feel unsafe but definitely not the best part of the area. We are also from a more major city so someone from a more safe feeling community might be put uneasy at this location. The pancake machine was down and the breakfast was just ok. Room was clean but outdated for sure. Staff was really friendly throughout the hotel.

Within sight of the Capitol building. Best shower ever; high water pressure (4th floor!), high water flow and very good hot water. Very good breakfast.

It was a nice hotel was only there for overnight stay. But worked out great, location was around little bit of everything.

Clean, located in a decent area, and the front desk attendant was very helpful.

It was basic. Clean room but breakfast was very lack luster and soap container was empty.

Had high hopes but was very unimpressed. I walked into my king suite to find a floor that didn’t look like it had been vacuumed in at least a week or two. Then the bathroom door, (which was hollow core, which I believe by law has to be solid per fire hazard) would actually close unless you picked up on the handle. When I went down to ask for 3 more towels(I had two for my family of 5), I was handed 2 and was told that’s all that was left. The breakfast was fairly good.

8:30 am, breakfast was picked over and not being refreshed. They replaced the dove body wash with a foul smelling, cheap body wash. There were ONLY two towel and one washcloth… for two people. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the hostess watching videos on her phone loud and full of profanity. Made no attempt at turning it off. Overall, big no for me.

Poorly cleaned , smelly rooms ( we had to switch) moldy smell on the first and cigarette’s smell on tie second Horrible breakfast

Upon arriving, I felt like I was annoying to the person at the front desk, and I didn’t have much confidence that they could help me. The room wasn’t much better. The tub has a gross looking rust stain by the drain and the linens has a weird damp feeling to them even though they weren’t wet. The breakfast the next morning ran out of most things, and there was no hot water and the juice machine wasn’t working, along with the fridge for yogurt, etc. we were pretty excited to leave

The breakfast was excellent. The staff member that helped me check-in was not very attentive. The room was not properly cleaned. I will not come back.
