What guests think

The avid hotel Guadalajara Aeropuerto Norte stands out for very clean, modern rooms, friendly staff, and a handy location near the airport, popular for overnight stays and early flights, with many guests appreciating the included airport shuttle and good value.

Multiple reviews mention heavy road construction causing slow traffic and tricky access, so allow extra time when arriving or using the shuttle. Guests frequently praise the simple included breakfast and 24/7 coffee, though some found the selection limited and a few reported issues. There are also reports of occasional long waits for rooms at check-in and inconsistent shuttle availability. Overall, expect a clean, convenient airport stopover if you plan ahead for transport.

Nice staff. Close to hotel with easy, quick shuttle service. Or, take an uber for around $5 USD. Room was clean and bathroom was nice. Beds are comfy. Hotel Is quiet. Air conditioner worked well and was quiet. Safe. Restaurant next door is DELICIOUS. Would stay again.

I booked this hotel based on the advertised free airport shuttle. After confirming my flight details with the hotel directly, we arrived to find no shuttle and no record of our request. Their solution was to pay for an Uber at our own expense. After over an hour of calls and being left on hold, they finally arranged a pickup — but we were forced to walk 12 minutes to a gas station at 2:30 a.m. with luggage and my pregnant wife, because the driver could not come to the terminal. We settled at hotel near 3:45 a.m. The next day, we found more issues: Breakfast was extremely limited and the cut fruit gave both of us food poisoning, derailing our plans. Staff refused basic requests (like bananas) when items ran out. Housekeeping refolded a used, dirty towel and placed it back as "clean." Water shut off without warning, forcing me to wash soap off my hands in the lobby. Air conditioning was unbearably loud, making rest impossible. At no point did management offer any apology, explanation, or compensation for the series of unacceptable failures. This hotel’s operations are careless, their advertising is misleading, and their basic hospitality standards are nonexistent. I strongly advise against staying here.

Parking spaces are a bit small but the line dedicated to the hotel is a one way lane so you can maneuver to avoid hitting other cars. Breakfast is decent for the available space.

If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would. This place was amazing and the cleanest I’ve stayed in close to Guadalajara airport. We had a total of 3 rooms for our family members and each was spacious and very clean. The staff was very accommodating and even put my food in their refrigerators and freezers before flying out. I highly recommend it.
