The hotel reminds me of a hacienda. It was colorful and beautifully decorated. There is a bar and restaurant on the premises and you feel like you’re in vacation. Shopping and fine restaurants are near by, Uber and taxis are best to get around. Staff was super helpful and professional. Will definitely return to this hotel.

This hotel is amazing. The staff was so helpful and accommodating. The property is kept up well and the plants and fountains are so pretty. The breakfast is a steal, it’s a full menu that is included and the food was great. We walked to the Tlaquepaque street markets and that was so cool to see. There is a secure parking lot across the street. It is a little tight of an entrance if you have a big vehicle, which was my mistake! I would very much stay here again and my kids are still talking about it.

Hot tub wasnt working and staff was nice up until checkout date. Different staff was not as inviting on last day. Some details where not explained regarding their breakfast and drink vouchers that put a sour taste on an otherwise great stay. Lack of flexibility from staff on final day is what lowered my score. Hotel is very clean and inviting with lots of privacy to enjoy your stay.

Hotel is quiet and clean. Staff were friendly and super helpful. We asked for a taxi for the next day and taxi was on time to pick up. Unfortunately the hot tub was not working and that was one of the reasons we booked the hotel, so my daughter could enjoy it. rooms were clean and uncluttered. Great stay overall!

Property itself was beautiful very welcoming and the decor gorgeous to enjoy and felt very safe indoors while you’re into the hotel but we are two older ladies traveling by ourselves we did not feel in the outdoor street area we went outside and lots of men hanging in the streets Smoking and doing stuff 😖 I think it’s fine if you are with a gentleman or a few more in groups — but we were both definitely sorry we did not look up Google to look the surrounding area — Sadly for us we both needed a spa we looked for a hotel with a pool and spa —the spa never worked while we were there never got warm I was told both days that it needs 3 to 4 hours to heat up never heat it up totally disappointed 😡

Loved our weeklong stay at La Villa del Ensueño!! The rooms are traditional Mexican with tile and big comfortable beds, and the grounds are lush creating a lovely oasis about 20 mins from the very urban Guadalajara. The center of Tlaquepaque is beautiful, artisanal and the mariachi show at El Parian is not to be missed. All a short walk away. Very safe, lovely staff and the breakfast from a fresh and varied menu was a great start each morning. My only negative is that the pool and spa was not heated and although beautiful, it was very cold. It would have been perfect 5 if we had been able to a swim. Otherwise a very beautiful, safe and friendly stay at La Villa del Ensueno!

Love staying here when I visit Guadalajara with my family. The hotel is clean and well kept. There is a pool foe the kids. Breakfast and a welcome beverage are included. All this and you are right near the heart of Tlaquepaque. A wonderful neighborhood to explore.

property was old hacienda style. Great facility. Facility has two sections. One across the street from the main facility. we were impressed that although assigned to the building across the street, it had it's own pool and sitting area. Very well kept. Staff were amazing. You get two free drinks with the room.Bar tender was awesome and helped make our night very pleasant.

The rooms were clean-however the patios and exterior walkways were dusty and although swept, not thoroughly clean. More attention to detail in washing and deep cleaning of the entire place on a regular basis would make this place outstanding. The staff Is friendly , responsive, and pleasant. The bed was comfortable, and the room was pleasant.

We had planned to stay here for three days, but due to a change in plans were only able to stay for 1.5 days. It was a highlight of our trip to Mexico for sure. It is so silent, beautiful and peaceful. The sound of mourning doves and a fountain were the perfect soundscape for our recharge. If I could change one thing, I would update the mattress, but We will be back! I would be remiss not to mention how wonderful the breakfast was!

Great breakfast menu. Very helpful front desk. Easy walk to the downtown area. Only drawback were the stairs up and inside the room. Some rooms don’t have this split level but it was nice to have a full fridge and kitchenette.

What a beautiful property and with a great, attentive staff that really wants you have. A great experience. It is super close to the town center. Really enjoyed our stay. The only negative thing to note was the door to our bathroom was a beautiful but fragile, stained glass door, and it did not close very well or provide much privacy. This would not stop me from staying at this property again.

The hotel and grounds are lovely and the staff was very courteous. Our room was a bit small but it had everything we needed and frankly we weren't there to be in the room. The location is very central to the pedestrian area and easy pick up for Uber when we ventured further afield. The street it's on is not the prettiest but the surrounding area was fine. Breakfast (included in our stay) was excellent and we appreciated that it was offered until 11am since we're not early risers. We would definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay at La Villa Del Ensueno! The hotel is even more relaxing and lovely than the pictures convey. The staff were incredibly accommodating - allowing us to check in early and enjoy breakfast in advance of our stay. Our room was perfect - beautiful and private. The complementary breakfast was incredible and a very full meal. We waited out the heat of the day by the pool which was perfect. We can’t wait to return!

We very much enjoyed our stay - so much so that we extended our time by an extra day! The property itself is beautiful and well maintained. It’s also a short (7-10 minute) walk to the Tlaquepaque central square. We utilized Uber to get to downtown Guadalajara and Tonala, but we understand there are easy busy options close by too. The team at the hotel are fantastic - a special thank you to everyone for your hospitality, and especially April, Elizabeth and Jesus for all of your help in planning our activities.

This is our 4th time staying at La Villa Del Ensueno and we LOVE it here!! The staff is so wonderful and friendly, helpful and hospitable! The location is perfect. You can walk everywhere from here. Shopping, Restaurants and downtown is so close. You always feel safe here. My favorite hotel to stay at when in Guadalajara!

This lovely boutique hotel is wonderful. The buildings are clean, filled with fountains and plants and helpful staff. There are two building and we stayed in the smaller one. That building has its own pool and is very quiet. We would stay here again. It’s about a 15 min walk through safe streets to get to the market square where there are many excellent restaurants. Not convenient for dinner reservations so we ate out big meal as a late lunch.

The hotel was beautiful and a 7 minute walking distance to the main tourist area of Tlaquepaque. Restaurants and shopping including the famous El Parian. The staff was great, the food was delicious and the service overall was great. Would definitely stay again. We all loved it and it was 11 of us. All rooms were clean and beautiful.

Fantastic Breakfast with room and complementary one Drink at their bar. I have stayed 4 times at this location and have enjoyed all the rooms. Beautiful boutique hotel, a little off the Main Street, but very close to everything. It was so quiet and peaceful. The decor was beautiful and the property was well taken care of. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfasts were so delicious and so much food! And the included welcome drinks were a nice touch. So easy to add a special touch like that, yet most places don’t. Ensueño exceeded our expectations, and we will definitely be back next time we visit Guadalajara!

Property was beautifully decorated and in great condition. The breakfast/bar area is a large open area with an occasional breeze to keep it cool. Our room included daily breakfast which was the highlight of our stay. Table service with choice of large breakfast main, plus fruit, yogurt, granola, coffee, and freshly squeezed orange juice. Front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was filled with mosquitoes that feasted on us as we slept. Also, plumbing in our room caused the toilet to make screeching noises periodically. I called it a singing toilet but my wife was not amused. Told the front desk about toilet twice but never fixed.

Overall good experience. The reception guy his name was Blas was great!! Super nice, helpful and very accommodating. All staff was super nice! The breakfast needs to have more options. The only thing missing was I wish it had a safe or lockbox and a fridge in all rooms
