I arrived at a construction project. Somewhere hidden in there was a makeshift front desk. All lounge areas closed. Gym closed. Room was clean. Slowest elevator I’ve ever seen. Breakfast was disappointing and served in a conference room.

I was grateful to have a place to stay for the night but they were in the middle of extensive renovations. Not safe (there was construction equipment out and about, trip hazards, etc), not quiet, and only one elevator that was barely working for the whole building. They should close the hotel for that level of work to be done.

I am very disappointed with my stay due to several issues that made the experience extremely inconvenient and unacceptable. When we arrived after a 15-hour drive, I was told the refrigerator needed to be plugged in and would get cold over time. I placed food inside, but it never got cold, and I had to throw the food away. Maintenance came the following day and had to install a knob inside the refrigerator so I could adjust the temperature and make it colder. This should have been addressed before our arrival. The bathtub was also clogged and filled with water while we were showering. Maintenance eventually repaired it, but because we arrived after the 3 PM check-in time, we were told maintenance had already left for the day, so we had to wait until the following morning. The bathroom also had a moldy shower curtain and no shower liner, causing water to get all over the bathroom floor while showering. I want to acknowledge that the staff were nice and understanding and offered to move us to another room. However, after a 15-hour drive, my children and I were already settled in, so moving rooms was not a reasonable option. The problems were significant enough that I checked out one day early, yet I was not refunded for the unused night. Given the refrigerator issue, food loss, clogged bathtub, moldy shower curtain, lack of a shower liner, and overall inconvenience, I believe a refund for the unused night, and appropriate compensation would have been a fair resolution. The building is under construction on the inside. Only one Elevator is working and stalls. I was placed in the room right next to the elevator and it was horrible. I would recommend staying after construction is done.
