Hampton Inn Albany-Wolf Road (Airport)

Their airport shuttle is available from 4am which was wonderful as getting a cab or Uber at that hour is nearly impossible for my 6am international flight. They are less than 10 minutes from the passenger drop off point.

Hotel was great but the driveway is full of potholes with some of them deep and large.

Room was clean and quiet (except for infrequent planes overhead). Breakfast was sparse. The fitness facility has one Peloton that works and a recumbent bike and elliptical machine that were there apparently for decoration as they were completely non-operational. No weights or weight machines. No hand sanitizer and nothing to clean the one operational machine. I specifically picked this hotel for the fitness center so I would have a place to Workout.

The bed and bedding high quality and extremely comfortable. Easy to regulate room temp. Long term parking cheaper than at the airport with fast and efficient shuttle service.

I used to think Hampton Inn was the better quality option, but this location is worn. The parking lot is full of big potholes. Its so bad that it makes you worry about damage to your car. I used to stay at Hampton Inn each year. But this will be my last time.

The room was all right, but the rest of the hotel is undergoing an extensive renovation. It meant that only one elevator worked requiring a wait time of about eight minutes to get downstairs to the dreadful little breakfast. Surprisingly, the stairway next to the elevator was also blocked off.

The property has no fitness center, and the lobby is a mess. Should have stayed somewhere else. Description is inaccurate.

I had to make this reservation on very short notice and was pleasantly surprised. The room was not very large, but certainly adequate, beautifully layed out and decorated. The only thing that was a little disappointing was that the swimming pool was not in operation.

Bathroom was dirty; thick dust, large brown stain in bathtub, black hairs here, there and in my towel. The rest of hotel very clean. Thin walls so every noise from other rooms and hallway could be heard clearly. I appreciate the value pricing, room availability and location and would stay here again based on that.

Hotel was very clean. At my arrival, they offered me choice of different floors for the room.

Only thing that was important was the bed and that was horrible. Needs new mattress that doesn’t make noise and sink when you are in it. Sheets so old and thin with permanent stains. I could see blood stains through sheets to mattress topper. Asked for new sheets that were slightly cleaner looking. Blood stains looking in bathtub. No impressed with their mini makeover.

The staff here is top notch, from the front desk to the breakfast attendant, to the shuttle driver. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. It was very clean inside and out, and I felt very safe, even traveling solo. I would absolutely stay here again.

The women at the front desk were very welcoming and handled our arrival quickly. The room was clean, comfortable and nicely temperature controlled. The beds and linens were great and we really appreciated the blackout curtains. We enjoyed the hotel and location so much that we booked it again for our return trip.

Room wasn’t very clean. Carpet needed vacuumed, tub had rust stains in it and carpet in the hall was torn/stained. Needs some updates. Overall property was not good.

When open the door there was a used wash cloth on the floor. When opened the refrigerator there was take out food half ate. Melded ice cream. In the bathroom no tissues. On the other hand the desk people were very nice and friendly. Hotel over all seemed to be clean. Ice only on 1st and 5th floors. Hotel is in a nice location.

As a whole, it’s a nice place. I just got stuck in a room right over the entrance. It was a bit louder than I would have preferred. I should have asked for a different room when I realized where I was located, but I didn’t.

We rented 2 rooms for a 4 days because our son was writing a medical.exam at a specialized test center about nearby. I have stayed at many Hampton Inn's for work over the years and this was by far the worst experience to date. In fact, I have never felt compelled to write a review until now. I should have when we arrived realized when we arrived on Sunday night to find the hotel under renovations that there were going to be issues. I am not sure why there was no mention of this when I booked the hotel but I NEVER would have atayed here had I known. The place was not dirty, it was filthy. We did not receive maid service our entire stay even after being told that they service the rooms every second day. We went down to the lobby on the third day to request some fresh towels at 4:30 in the afternoon. I absolutely needed internet access for work but the internet barely worked. After a few attempts getting the front desk to fix the issue, they put me directly in touch with their service provider and we were finallly able to get me connected almost 4 hours after I first complained about the issue. Thank god that I was able to connect to the Marriot hotel's wifi that was located next door because I had to submit documents for work earlier in the morning!! The advertised gym was also under construction which staff were happy to.let me know would be operational on my next visit. Thanks for letting me know. How about telling people that before they book. We caecked out a day early!!!

Bed has definitely outlived its life expectancy. Otherwise, our stay was good.

Bed needed an upgrade, but everything else was great.

Right off the main strip of Wolf Rd, so there are plenty of dining options, and the airport is less than two miles away. As for the property and room, they were excellent. The room smelled nice, was clean, and very quiet. The bed was comfortable, and the TV was huge. Shower was nice, and water got as warm as I wanted it. Breakfast was surprisingly great—lots of hot options (it was a southern-style breakfast when I was there: biscuits and gravy, boiled eggs, and potatoes), plus plenty of bakery items and the usual pancakes and waffles. The coffee was great too. I would absolutely stay here again if I'm in Albany. Thank you!

Room was smaller than I have had at Hampton Inns in other cities. There was no closet. Instead, the area behind the drapes is used as a makeshift closet.

Very thin walls and allot of hallway chatter. Needs felt. Out dated and springy.

Our stay was great. The only thing that we did not love was that we could not fully close the heavy set of curtains, so we had light from the parking lot when we were trying to sleep..

From my phone call to arrange the airport shuttle, to the shuttle driver, to check in, everything and everybody were friendly & helpful.

Spent over 2 hrs as someone lost our reservation

We came here in the middle of the night, after a horrible experience in a different hotel. The staff was super accommodating and understanding of out ordeal. The lobby was clean, well lit and welcoming. Our room was perfect. 10 out of 10.

I checked in at 3:30 Saturday, March 9th and the young man at the front desk was courteous, and answered my questions (shuttle, walking distance restaurants, coffee hours). He is an excellent ambassador for this hotel! Good hiring, and I know how hard it is to find, train and keep excellent staff… 47 yrs experience. Tom Moser

I requested a wakeup call at 4 am I got one call at 2 am and a second one at 3 am and none at 4 am. Obviously, I didn't have a good night like Hamptons promises!

Friendly, quick check in. Very nice room. Clean with all the amenities we needed. Good value for the price. Trader Joe's and Whole Foods just down the road a plus. Will stay here again!

Was satisfied with our stay here, however, upon arrival checking in was rather challenging. There was one person working the counter and she seemed overwhelmed. She had much difficulty checking in a party of four people who had arrived before me. I waited for what seemed like eternity while the parties were checked in. Finally, after approximately 1 hour, I was checked in and able to go to our room. Very frustrating!

Clean, convenient, comfortable.

Perfect. Right next to Albany airport. A couple of fairly good restaurants right in the vicinity. Fine for an overnight stay close to the airport.

Stayed for a sports tournament. Hotel was very clean, nice staff, very good location in terms of airports and restaurants. Lots of places to eat nearby. And laundry if you need.

We have stayed at this Hampton many times over the years. The location is very convenient. The upgrades have been done well. The only issue is making a left from busy Wolf Road to get into the hotel. It is a safer option to pass the property, make a left at a traffic light, then enter by making a right turn.

Needs serious updates. The hotel was full and there was not enough dining soace for people to sit down for breakfast.

My stay at the Hampton Inn by Hilton was fabulous. Great breakfast. Comfortable bed.

Room was great. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Many healthy options. Large dining area. Staff were exceptionally pleasant. Airport shuttle efficient. Rooms quiet, well heated.

Absolute worst breakfast ever!

The hotel was very dated. They converted half of the window into a closet. The breakfast was not appetizing and ended early.

Hotel was great. Breakfast was fine but the eggs were definitely blah. Zero taste. Coffee and blueberry muffin were good.

The hotel itself was average. I asked the clerk for water for me and my guest and was told I would have to pay for the second water, my reply was no thanks. The included breakfast was No Edible. Bagels were stale and first one was moldy. The omelet was cold. Most of the meal ended in the trash.

Good value, location. Easy check in great staff, and a great breakfast.
