Confusion with my reservation. Room was clean but bathroom lacked attention. Pool was closed and looked very neglected as did most areas on property. Clerk complained rudely about a previous customer not being able to speak English. Shame stayed here in the past but degraded quite a bit.

The property itself was good. the building was in good shape. We checked in late, at 11pm. The Staff member that welcomed me in was on his earphones and did not end call to attend me, instead, continued with the call. I introduced myself; he said to me that i was checking in late and that the only room he had available was on the third floor and that the elevator was not in service. I asked if we could have one on the first floor and he replied with a rudely and said, "that is all we have, you're checking late, it's 11pam and i can't change rooms". So, we had to carry our luggage three floors up walking up the stairs. The floors looked clean but at the same time, with a little humidity smell. Our room was clean. One lamp did not work and there were missing tiles in the restroom floor. We were four of us and there was only on tiny little shampoo, conditioner and body wash for all of us. I had to ask for more and I only got shampoo because there were no more body wash bottles. Breakfast was good, eggs can be done much better instead of tasting like egg clumps but overall, breakfast was good with a variety of choices. Overall, the stay was average, but I would not stay there for future reservations.

The room had an odd stuffy smell, the beds were not queen size even though I paid extra for queen size. Staff was very friendly and kind.

Check in during check in time was delayed due to availability, but checking in was a breeze. Breakfast was serviceable and standard, although the orange juice was semi thick and was told it was a brand, but I skipped it for the stay. The room was clean but an empty shot bottle was left from previous stay, but that was as bad as it got, everything was clean. In the room the alarm clock was not working and one lamp was out (I had a worry if I may be charged for something I didn’t do). WiFi was gone for a day but the owners/employees had it going the next day. You do have to request for a lot such as having the room cleaned (a day prior), new towels and toiletries; regardless it was done so with ease. Solid option for a stay and would come back.

The staff was wonderful, but I had to change rooms because the electricity in the bathroom didn't work in the first room. In the new room, the television didn't work. They got me a new one right away. Everything was fine until I turned off the light near the front door. When I did that the television turned off too. They were obviously on the same circuit. Then I had to change beds to the other side of the room so the light wasn't shining in my eyes; another annoyance. I got up the next morning to take a shower and had no soap. My room key card had to be reset 5 times. I kept getting locked out of my room. I can't say that I will stay there again. Way too many annoyances for a room I am paying for. I hope they learn to do better.

I think this was the noisiest hotel my family has ever stayed at. The walls are crazy thin. We had a room across the hall from the elevator and we could hear every conversation people had as they walked down the hall, and every time someone got ice from the machine. We were woken up in the middle of the night by phone conversations in the hall and people refilling their ice buckets. The bathroom ceiling looked like someone was killed in there and they forgot to paint over the blood splatter, and there was very little water pressure in the shower. The breakfast was sad. The eggs looked gross, and the sausage looked raw. There were waffles, muffins, bread, and yogurt as well. We had muffins and yogurt the first morning of our stay and went somewhere else for the second. I'm not sure why, but we only had two towels in our double queen room. We had to go down to the front desk to get more. BUT, I will say, the towels were soft, as well as the bed sheets. The bed itself was decent, and the staff was friendly. This hotel needs a total makeover: new paint, new fixtures, new furniture.

I stayed in a room below a pet-friendly room, and I could hear a dog barking and running around until late at night, which made it impossible to sleep. Even the room next door was noisy, despite not having any pets. On top of that, the bathtub looked old and dirty, which made me uncomfortable using it. I've never experienced such constant noise and poor conditions in a hotel before. I definitely won't be coming back.

The room was good, but the A/C unit in our room was extremely noisy in the cooling cycle, no matter what I would adjust it was still noisy especially at bedtime, we had to turn it off to be able to sleep. When I set up my laptop on the table, as I started to browse the internet a small cockroach ran across the top of the table onto the edge close to the wall, my wife felt disgusted by it so we had to chase it and kill it, then there was another by the a/c unit and was also killed. That really killed the sense of staying at La Quinta. Overall the room was good but the stay was not as relaxing as we would have liked. Breakfast was great.

The front desk worker was quite friendly and helpful. The house keeping and maintenance are not good. The 1st room assigned to us had no blankets on both beds; the metal bed frame protruding by about half a foot from the bedroom, both my daughter and I accidentally bumped into the protruding bed frame and were hurt; wifi signal was too weak in that room so wifi was not available; toilet seat was not tightened so it wobbled freely right and left. After asking front desk worker for help, he was quite helpful and friendly, quickly moved us to a different room without the above issues.

The shower has very limited pressure and has 2 temps, melt you or youre cold. The shower head was a sprinkle. So very very hot water on a small portion of body. Shower was terrible. Also, our room had zero hand or body soap. And the shampoo bottle wasnt new. Our room had a very cold AC unit. Bring a blanket as the room was 61 degrees when we arrived. It was COLD. So be prepared. Not complaining. AC that works in Texas is required. Our room had a funky smell. Like really dirty wet shoes. Staff and other areas were very nice. Maybe it was just our room. For the price, not terrible. We were safe.
