Dirty bathroom, bedspread, and walls. Room faced west and the sun heated up the room so much that the air conditioning couldn’t keep up. The breakfast had no eggs, sausage, potatoes, and soggy French toast sticks. There was one waffle maker, and a toaster that had only 2 of the 4 slots working. The bagels were so small that tongs were needed to dig them out. The only fruit was an orange. Pool was closed with a dead bird floating in it. Wasn’t expecting much, but this place was just bad.

The air conditioner in the lobby was broken and i felt bad for the staff who had to work in that heat. It also made for an uncomfortable breakfast! The pool needs repair and is empty. Landscaping is horrible, weeds everywhere. The door to my daughters room broke, locking her inside the room. We didnt expect anything fancy for the price but did hope for better!

Only booked it for the pool however it didn’t mention the pool was closed for maintenance, check in said it was from 2pm but wasn’t allowed in until 3pm. Staff were have a huge argument in reception so that was entertaining

I used to stay at this quality inn every time I pass through this area, the room was not well cleaned or kept table's dirty. The Room was not well cleaned or kept, tub was dirty, the quality has definitely been taken out of the hotel. Ice machines not working, grounds and lawn not well maintained. Continental breakfast in the morning was very sparse to say the least. Probably won't be staying here ever again. Bed and pillows were comfortable for the amount of time that we stayed.

We only stayed for 7 hours but noticed the room was very dirty. Hair all over bathroom floor, shower didn’t look clean at all and trash/food on the carpet. The coffee in the room was the worst ever. The tv was also very dirty. Didn’t want to walk barefoot on the carpet that’s how unsettling it was. Would not recommend. I wish I would’ve taken pics but had to hit the road! Can’t review the breakfast, left before it was available.

Cleanliness - I completely understand that the hotel is an older hotel. That being said there is still a hope for a clean room. Not sure how deep the room is cleaned between guests but one would think the cleaning staff would vacuum up body hair in the bathroom. I’m not talking about a few stray hairs here and there, I’m talking about a lot of hair. Quite nasty actually. On the floor, in the tub/shower.

We had an unpleasant experience, we checked in and went in to the room were there like 3 minutes after we wanted to rest and lay down and found bed bugs we immediately left and loaded up our kids. We went to the front desk and they told us to come back at 7am to figure out our refund which is ridiculous. We have been calling and they aren’t picking up so I’m assuming they are avoiding us to not give us the full refund we deserve. Do. Not waste your time staying here

Check-in took too long. I actually left and came back because they were training someone new and the manager refused to just check me in rather than insisting that I wait. Room had no towels or linens of any kind and staff refused to bring it to the room.

Have stayed at this property two times previously and had always been impressed. This time ruined all of that to where we will not be returning. We were given a room with no dead bolt making myself and the two teenage girls with me vulnerable, which I didn’t notice initially due to arriving after a long day on the road. The smoke detector also went off in the middle of the night. When I called to share what was happening I was told they could come to my room to fix it or we could have a new room. I was not having a stranger come into my room in the middle of the night so chose to move everything. When we got the key to the new room the attendant basically just flung it at me as if it was my fault they don’t regularly check their smoke detectors. Rooms were dirty. The first much more dirty than the second but both had curley black hairs all over. Breakfast had a good variety. No one was friendly, helpful, or apologetic for what happened. We will not be back.

We stopped at this motel on a drive to Phoenix from Fort Worth and it was convenient right off the highway and very affordable. It was clean and nice enough and the breakfast was decent but what really stood out was the customer service. I inadvertently left my purse with my wallet, credit cards, and license and didn’t realize until I was hours away stopping for gas. I immediately called and the woman at the front desk found it, so packaged it up and sent it to me. I was beyond impressed by the fact that she went out of her way to ensure that the package didn’t leave her at any time and she even dropped it at UPS to make sure it was returned to me. I didn’t catch her name but hopefully the manager will know who she is and be happy to have such an honest and caring employee.

I often stay at retro motels when traveling and will continue to do so. On my recent trip from Arkansas to New Mexico I arrived late to Tucumcari and needed to be up early to continue my journey, so I shoes to stay at this hotel out on I-40 instead of a Rt 66 motel as I usually do. Both the lobby and my room were clean and spacious and the staff is very courteous and helpful. This place is itself retro in a way as it appears to be one of the early lodgings to be built out at the freeway. Highly recommend.

Made reservations on hotel.com we had 4 adults and one small child. The woman at the front desk told us we had to get two rooms. We left.
