Location was easy to find. Right off Loud highway, that we heard all night. Sauna was amazing, pool and hot tub could use a shock treatment. We did use the hot tub, which was ok, the jets weren’t very strong. We felt the pool water, too warm and green. So passed! Room was very nice and clean, bathroom could use a little scrubbing in front of tub. Husband grabbed us a cinnamon roll on our way out that was real good. Overall we would stay again

some type of tiny flying bug in bathroom. Captured one to provide to front desk staff. Bathroom needs a deep clean. TV remote did not work. They replaced but when they left the new one still did not work. Double layer window shades would be better. Given the current shade was all or none. A sheer curtain would allow for light in but the whole window did not need to be completely exposed.

Dirty! For the price, the cleanliness and upkeep were unacceptable. Moldy, peeling ceiling above shower, trashy door and trim, dirty handprints on the bathroom door. Door knobs dirty. Pool even looked like it needed cleaned.

The indoor swimming pool was full of bugs and was green. There was a dead roach in my cereal this morning. Rooms didn’t have a hair dryer, tried to call the front desk, but the phone didn’t work, so had to go tell them their phones didn’t work and a Hair dryer was needed in the room. The room had a weird smell to it. The beds were super comfortable though, that’s the best part about the stay.

The flooring in the entry way was apparently not installed properly as pieces were loose and some could be lifted off the floor. Could become a tripping hazard possibly. Also, A/C unit would run constantly no matter what setting you tried. It had to be unplugged to shut it off. Lastly, the safe was locked upon check in and the staff were nice enough to come up to unlock it but were unable to.

The check-in and check-out staff had no congenial attitude. Not one of the 3 gentleman smiled. The vinyl plank flooring in the entry section of room 237 no longer fits together at the seams and are just floating. But the 1/2-1" gaps shift around causing a tripping hazard. Also, the marble transition strip between entry and bathroom floor is too high causing another tripping hazard. Both beds are too soft. I did not bring this to the attention of the staff because I honestly felt they didn\'t give a crap.

The customer service was good but the flooring when we walked into our room wasn’t even attached to the floor. Looked like a construction zone. My aunt tripped on it three times throughout our stay and it’s a huge safety hazard. If we weren’t so tired we would have requested a different room. But after a day of driving we didn’t have it in us to move all our stuff again.

We check in like nothing is wrong, only to go to the room we were given and find that it is already occupied! Straight up walked in on another guest. Went back, got a new room and a barely there apology, but there is garbage in the cans and a dirty towel on the sink. We decide to let it go, the beds are clean and its only one night, but we noted this. Then one of us goes downstairs to get our stuff outside of the car. There is a woman with two preteens heading to the pool. By the time the stuff is out of the car they have been kicked from the pool because the kids (who are now understably crying) were laughing "too loud "at 7:30pm on a Saturday. The amenities in the room also do not work correctly. The TV only show that there is no signal, and the wifi code we were given was near illegible and lead to a loading screen that never progressed. We have not even made it to breakfast yet and I can tell you this place is terrible. Do not stay here.

Had an excellent stay….Hotel was clean and very comfortable- staff were VERY friendly and extremely responsive. My refrigerator didn’t work- they quickly replaced it. Towels were clean but yellow? Maybe too much bleach? Need to whiten them. BUT those are picky little things- main thing- very clean and comfortable and customer friendly. Definitely recommend.

My friend and I arrived at 11:10 pm. We waited over 30 mins to check in, called the hotel like 8 times. The guy comes from the back doesn’t even apologize and completely ignores our complaint. The following morning I asked for a toothbrush and the lady at the front desk said no right away and was rude. As someone who has experience in the hospitality industry. This place is not IHG standard, front desk needs to be trained better or just not be racist. Save your money and stay somewhere else. We did not even receive a proper check out but yet a Caucasian couple in front of us received a great one, this place was overall a terrible experience.

It is easily accessible from I40. The front desk staff was very nice and accommodating. The room could have been vacuumed better but overall i would stay again. I gave a 4 bc there arent much if any organic items offered in the breakfast area.

My wife and I stay in Tucumcari twice each year. We’ve tried several motels in the area. The Holiday Inn Express is the best of the bunch. Others are either not as close to the restaurants, “tired”, or just very limited. The bed and furniture and lights in the room is very good. The parking lot is well lit. The breakfast is above average. And it seems that coffee is available throughout the day. Nice place, convenient, clean, fair priced.

Hotel was great, however there was a male prostitute walkin up and the back by the pool. We also saw a gentleman in the parking lot with 2 police cars. Kinda sketchy

We were very happy with everything at this hotel. Everything looked brand new, everything in the room worked, the bed was comfortable and the room was large. Breakfast was great and there was plenty. No fake eggs, the real deal. Staff was very friendly. We highly recommend this hotel. It appeared to us to be the best in town.
