Service wasn't great, eg. at check-in they didn't tell me about breakfast or any of the amenities (like pool hours). I asked about breakfast and the person told me the hours and said it was $25 but later when I checked my reservation it was supposed to be included. I also had a bit of a parking fiasco because I wanted to charge my car. The hotel has 1 EV charger but there are 4 more in the same building. Somebody was already using the hotel one so I wanted to use one of the other 4, but that requires going into a different section of the garage. The ticket they gave me at reception didn't work there, so I went back and asked about it, and the same person who did my check in did something for a few minutes and told me to try again, though it still didn't work. There's Electrify America a couple blocks away (again not mentioned by the person at the front desk) but it's in a garage where you have to pay $11 just to go in. It would be really great if a hotel that offers "EV charging" actually helped people charge their EVs! The facility itself is OK but seems a bit worn down and not super clean. We let our toddler run around our room barefoot and his feet were completely black after a few minutes :-/ On the plus side the location is pretty good, there are a lot of restaurants and stuff nearby.

Right off the freeway, friendly staff. You will have to pay to park which is pricey but easy to do; you drive around the back of the property and park in the garage and use your key to get k to the hotel. So very safe. Rooms were nice, beds comfortable. Shower very nice! I did ask for extra pillows and blankets and they were never received. Can pay for breakfast but we opted to walk down to Russell’s.

Stayed here as a pit stop on a road trip from Phoenix to Northern California. They advertise being pet friendly and having EV chargers, so we thought it would be a perfect fit. What we didn’t know was that their pet deposit is $150! Ridiculous. Most places charge ~ $50. On top of that they have a total of 1 EV charger for a pretty large hotel. If you’re traveling with pets, save yourself some money and stay at the Hotel Dena. It’s the old Sheraton at the Pasadena Convention Center. It’s not quite as nice of a hotel, but it’s much more pet friendly and the pet deposit is $100 less. Plus, if you have an EV, there are plenty of chargers in the garage on Level A.

All staff were very friendly and nice! The hotel was not in the best shape. Sink in the bathroom was cracked and the wall paper had marks and stains on it. People etched their names and markings on the elevator doors and the hot tub in the pool was out of service. The hotel looked more beat up in person than in the pics.

This property was advertising that they'd just done a complete renovation, however all the really did was update a few finishes, and wow is it ugly. It looks like an apartment building from the 70's. The bed we had was extremely uncomfortable, the heating system was old and didn't stop heating once it got to the desired temperature, there was a hell of a lot of noise from above us and all around. The pool was ok, but the hot tub was absolutely filthy and had a lot of broken or missing tiles, so watch your feet! I spoke to a guy in the elevator who said he'd been at this property a year prior and it didn't look much different after the renovation. The staff were all very nice, though.

Parking garage levels that take you right to the floor that you’re on was nice and convenient. The overall condition of the property was nice. Very clean. Hot tub was dirty but outside of that. No complaints in that area. A continental breakfast would be nice to have and the cost of theirs was a little high in my opinion when most places offer free food options in the morning. 35 dollars for parking is a little absurd when you’re staying at the establishment. The lobby area was really nice and they had a great bar setup. The air and room deal for four was nice and hard to beat. I’d search out other amenities that offered food and didn’t charge for parking.

There dirty linen in the elevator. The floors in the elevator had stains and “fluids”. Used towels in the hallway. The view outside was unappealing. Old tires, gas station had someone relieving himself on the wall!!!

The staff was polite and attentive to your every need. The room was clean aside from a few carpet stains they attempted to remove however the beds were not comfortable at all. We actually placed our pillows behind our backs laterally so that we could sleep comfortably. Honestly I was a little surprised because I’ve stayed at this hotel chain pre COVID in other states and this is the first time I woke up feeling like I took nap vs feeling refreshed after good nights sleep.

The room had little furniture and provided only one stand for luggage. Rooms almost always have two guests, that means at least two bags. There was limited counter space, no dresser with drawers and a puny table that could not hold a piece of luggage. The bathroom was also without any shelving for clothes or other items when showering. The toilet sat in a corner with only the toilet paper holder nearby. A grab bar should be near to assist people when they sit and when they rise. Now there is nothing to help a person balance properly. The room had a small frig but no microwave, and the coffee choice was really bad, actually awful.

Here for a show at the Rose Bowl and these guys were not at all prepared for the volume of people they had arrive. Lines snaking around the lobby, 1 hour plus to check in, lots of irate people. Once we got in the room fixtures were broken, TV didnt work etc. Staff were totally nice and I sympathize with them but for a $600+ stay for one night, I hoped the basics would be covered.

We reserved a two queen sized bed room and once we arrived at the hotel we were informed that our booking was changed, without ANY notice or reasonable explanation. When we talked to the front desk they told us that it is their fault and that they were overbooked. I’m sorry, but that’s not my problem. We went from having our reservation to a small one bed, and a one person hide a bed. This is not what we paid for. My son had to sleep in our truck. The hide a bed was extremely uncomfortable, please upgrade the flat mattresses. This is unacceptable and we will never be returning to this hotel ever again because this was an absolute first. Never experienced such terrible service at a hotel before, and we were not accommodated. Please reorganize and restructure this hotel because we didn’t make a big deal out of it but I know other folks wouldn’t accept this at all.

I checked into my room. Approximately 45 minutes later. Someone was able to enter into my room with an actual room key. I later called down to the front desk and they asked me to pack up and change rooms with these people. I felt VERY UNSAFE in this hotel at that time. I left the hotel and went somewhere else. I asked for a refund for my stay. However I have not heard back from the hotel.

The first night when checking in the room I had booked and prepaid for was not available. So instead had king bed and sofa bed. The sofa bed was incredibly uncomfortable as the metal bars were all I could feel. I ended up putting the 2 inch mattress on the floor and closing the couch up. The staff was really great and was able to put us in the two queen room the following night. The breakfast was to die for with everything you could ever ask for and all of it fresh and at temperature. Really loved the proximity to old town Pasadena

I prepaid for this room and once I arrived at 10pm, my room was "Given away to residents close with the fires." This was very upsetting to me because I had traveled all the way from Ohio and was EXHAUSTED! The nearest hotel was 15 minutes away and they made me pay for another UBER, no cash or reimbursement offered on my room. Just transferred fee. Brian Dominguez, the manager was NO HELP. I just wanted a room, one that I had paid for BEFOREHAND!!! Will never book here again.

Convenient parking, you park close to the floor where your room at. Walkable to restaurants, City hall, Metro, Museums, park. Safe to walk anytime. Love this place, will be back here again. Highly recommended.

Great spot, perfect location. You'll have a wide range of options for food and activities within a few blocks. Love the area of Pasadena, easy drive to other spots in LA. The hotel was great. Parking was easy, all floors are connect to the garage. Breakfast is not complimentary, look pretty good. But they're so much nice spots to eat within walking distance. Thanks!

This hotel was average, with a high price for average. Also, the fire alarm went off twice one night waking me from a sound sleep. Both times it quit just as I was about to exit the room. No explanation and I wouldn’t have even received a “sorry” if I hadn’t asked about it. Breakfast is a buffet for $23. Coffee is a Starbucks brew with a high price and not much flavor. The place is clean but the rooms are underwhelming. It’s an okay place to stay and the location is great, but I’d most likely choose another hotel next time.

We thought we would have a breakfast buffet each day, and we did for the first two days. Then on the third day, we were told that the buffet is no more. Instead, we could order off a menu. We complained and asked if we could cancel the breakfast for the last three days of our stay. However, we were told that since we paid for breakfast in advance through hotels.com, we could not cancel and get a refund or even a partial refund, despite the decrease in service. The staff did not even seem to think there was anything improper in this. One worker said we could stop by later and he would give us free coffee, but we are not big coffee drinkers. Anyway, we had to order off the menu, and then the kitchen made a mistake in my order, plus it took 25 minutes to get the order, even with few customers present. There were also minor service problems on subsequent days. A buffet is much nicer as it allows customers to select what they want and eat at their own pace, finishing in only a few minutes if they choose. We were staying six nights, so the hotel gave us a room on the top floor, the 6th, with a nice view of St. Andrew’s Church and the mountains. However, one of the two windows was filthy. We just kept the curtain closed so we didn’t have to look at it. Regarding the TV, we could not get the ABC channel to work. On the other channels, the picture would go blank for several seconds from time to time. For a lengthy visit, we like to put clothes in drawers, but that w

We liked the location in Old Town Pasadena. It was a quick walk to the Rose Bowl shuttle. The tables and bar were dirty and sticky. The charges for parking and the breakfast food shouldn't be incurred with the price you pay for the rooms and taxes. Eat at the great restaurants/bars/pubs in the area!

45$ a night for parking is outrageous, thank god I know the area and where to park for free, but just add that in to your budget. Otherwise, this is a lovely mid range hotel in old town Pasadena with a little pool, jacuzzi, over priced bar and restaurant and I’m an la native, used to price gouging, but this is a bit much. Venture outside the hotel for better food and beverage prices, but otherwise a solid stay.

Redecoration very good in room and generally. Room needs more furniture, cupboards, drawers, tables - for longer stay clients. Gym, pool etc very welcome. Breakfast good, but far too expensive if one just wants something small/simple. Price needs to be disaggregated, as previously.
