Economy Inn Morgan Hill

I came here as a stopping point for hiking. It’s a really good deal for a solo traveler. Older, but well kept. Manage your expectations and you’ll like it! Ice machine wasn’t working though

Super clean room and grounds Parking was excellent .our car right outside of room door.

Very basic hotel with no hair dryer. Couldn't connect to wifi. Everything else was okay.

I also liked that they had washer and dryer on site.

The property was good for the price point. Clean bathroom and room, AC worked, so did fridge and Microwave. The owners live on site and are nice. I had to exchange my towels because they were dirty and he helped me. I recommend taking your own pillow or towels if you can. The pillows are thin and small with no firmness.

We were on our way to attend a marriage in Morgan Hill. We used the room only for a few hours. Neat place and plenty of easy parking.

Microwave, fridge, bed, table. No frills, clean, did the job.

First off, I called to ask about what time was considered a late check in and the lady who answered the phone told me about 5 times that check in was at 3. I got there and asked a lady (I'm guessing it was the same one who answered the phone earlier, about the password for the internet and had a hard time asking if the password was uppercase or lowercase. About 2 minutes after I check in, 2 police vehicles arrived and started knocking on doors (thankfully they had the wrong location). The bed was very hard, and they do a terrible job of cleaning as my sheets had the back of an earring on top of them. The internet really sucked (kept going out almost as soon as I would sign back in) and was unable to watch anything on my tablet. They need to replace the microwave; there are only about 2 buttons that work on it. Again, they don't do a good job of checking things-my refrigerator had leftover stuff in it from who knows how long. I turned the heat on and no matter what temperature I tried to set the dial at, it got to warm pretty quickly, so I would have to shut it off for a while and then turn it back on when I wanted to get warm again. The room is very small too. There are no amenities close by, which is a shame, cause I would have liked to have been able to walk to the store to get some coffee in the morning. The only good thing I have to say is that the hotel is all one level.

Basic room a great rate. Whole facility is very clean. If your looking for no frills at a fair price this is it.

Upon arriving to the location it looks very clean and quiet. When I open my room there's a smell not of chemicals but a Musky smell. The shower had black mold around the rim of the tub. The bed sheets were not clean upon pulling back the bed sheets, there it was a large amount of long blonde hair in the pillows and also within the blanket and sheets on the bed. There was also a big foot stain on the right side of the bed where it looked like someone had stepped on it with a shoe because the footprint was still on the white sheet. The bed sheet and a yellow stain at the foot of the bed . It was clear and evident that the sheets were not changed from the previous people who had stayed in this room. As it wasn't just one strand of hair it was almost like a whole handful of hair and it was super long. I could not have been my hair as my hair is short and black. Due to the nature of my stay and it was a work stay I did not have time to talk with staff as I had to put my belongings down and go to work that afternoon until late evening. The first night was awful as the neighbors to each side of me were Extremely Loud one room had multiple children and you can hear them jumping up and down in the bed they were extremely loud and the walls were paper thin the gentleman on the other side was snoring so loud it was hard to sleep that I had to turn the TV on and turn up the volume. I was unable to sleep in the sheets knowing how dirty and disgusting it was. WONT RETURN

The room was stuffy and stale when I walked in. I carry Lysol spray when traveling and disinfect EVERYTHING, sheets, spreads and all surfaces . The towel I used to wipe after spraying was very dirty. Whoever cleans is not doing a good job. The room was dated and had fleas. There was not even a box of Kleenex. There were noise from the people (about 10) down the way and I suspect they live there. I will NEVER cut corners on a hotel/motel room. I wish I could attach the dirty towel photo. This was not a good experience. For personal use I always travel with my own towels.

It is a small place and the man checked me in was so slow. The room was dirty with stains on the sheets and top bedspread. I went to the office and he gave me a new set of sheets. Not gonna stay there again.

Mold all over the bathroom, shower curtain had stains of Feces as well as on the wall. The bed was very uncomfortable. Barely any tv channels. Room was ridiculously small. And the front desk was just rude.

There were a lot of crumb-like things on and in between the bedsheets. Bathtowels were dirty. There were a couple area that were not cleaned. The floors were dirty.

All was good. Liked the place and price was good. A Rooster somewhere in the area tho ha ha ha

We just wanted a clean quiet bed for the night that was affordable. This place was perfect for us. Modernized rooms and comfortable bed. Safe and quiet setting. Got a great meal just few blocks away. Two thumbs up from us!

Staff was super nice and helpful. Room is small but perfect as we were just passing thru and needed a stay last minute. Room was nice and clean. Bed was a little hard but I’m also particular to a softer bed, was fine for my partner. All in all great stay and if I ever need a place to stay will come back.

I know it's not the fault of the economy Inn, but the guests in room114 were loud, disturbingly from 11 pm till 1 am. Did not get a restful sleep

Check in was simple and the gentleman was friendly. This is by no means a fancy establishment, the room was very clean but slightly smelled of smoke. For a one night stay very convenient and reasonably priced. Thank you!

Easy to locate, within a mile of Starbucks, Safeway...... Would stay here again.. Friendly staff.

The manager couple were great. The place quiet and kept up. A wonderful ride to get there. The beds could be softer but it was a restful area and town and room.

The location was convenient. The room was clean. The staff was nice.

This motel is situated in a peaceful and secluded area, that is just minutes away from shopping and historical buildings. The San Martin Airport Museum is within close proximity. Also, the staff are friendly and the rooms are spacious and clean. An affordable price within the South Bay of Santa Clara County. Gilroy is nearby and there are road signs to Los Banos and Merced. Highly recommended for everyone!
