Fairfield Inn & Suites Kansas City Liberty

I asked for a room for 4 people a king bed and a pull out couch. The couch they said would sleep two - if your children yes. I spoke to the attendant and was told to talk to management. There were 3 towels for 4 adults, 2 washcloths and 1 hand towel. We asked for more and was told housekeeping would bring what was needed I paid $588 for very little. I thought that it being a part of a Marriott chain that it would be excellent and what a surprise I would not recommend it.

We enjoyed our stay. It would have been nice if the fridge had a small freezer to keep blue ice frozen. We loved the pool. There was a towel on each chair by the pool. The room was nice. Breakfast was good but after three days of eating the same thing, more choices would have been nice but the food was great.

Stayed for a few days while in town. The check in staff wasn't great. She seemed like I was bothering her, and she mentioned I should have checked in online.... Which wasn't an option. Pool was small, but adequate. Hot tub wasn't hot. More of a warm tub. And the luggage cart had a flat wheel which made things difficult. Biggest shout-out to Tracy running the breakfast! She was friendly, personable and a lovely person. A smiling face all three mornings. And the breakfast was stellar. Even had gluten free muffins and bread which was a great touch. And the toppings for the oatmeal was fantastic. Would stay again in the future.

The room was rather small, very little room in bathroom for anything on the counter. The property was showing some wear. Staff was very friendly, breakfast was decent.

The hotel was clean and the front desk staff was friendly. The location was very good. Close to a lot of shops and restaurants. However the ac was not on in our room when we first checked in and with it being 100+ degrees outside it made it a musty smell that took a day or so to clear out. The breakfast was terrible. We were told when we checked in that breakfast was 7-10am (we were staying on a weekend) however when we went down the sign said 7-930. We went to breakfast at 9. They were completely out of hot food, coffee, milk, there was no hot water to make oatmeal. The only thing they had was the waffle machine and some bagels and pastries. I asked the staff if they were making more food and she replied that they stop cooking at 9. I was shocked by this because the place was very busy and we were by far not the last people to “attempt” breakfast. The staff indicated that this was not her normal job and she was covering for someone and that’s just what she was told. I assumed this was maybe just an off day for them however the next day when we went down around 9 again, same thing except this time they did have coffee. I understand if you indicate you stop serving at 930 that you would stop cooking at 9 but at 9 you should make sure that the hot food is topped off. With there being no hot food at all at 9 tells me you stopped cooking long before 9.
