We would not have chosen this hotel had it not been for the closure of our hotel inside the Grand Canyon due to late August flooding. However, this hotel was very attractive and set us up for easy access to the park the next morning. I had made an OpenTable dinner reservation at their steakhouse in advance of going there. When we went to check in for dinner, the two people assigned to this station were ill prepared to accommodate guests with reservations, let alone those that had none it made for a very unpleasant beginning to our dinner. After the inconvenience to simply be seated, we were very nervous about what kind of service we would receive in the restaurant. Fortunately, we had a server that knew what he was doing. His name is JODDY. He was very accommodating and expedited our drink and dinner requests quickly and accurately.
