Be careful when booking this hotel during off season, that is to say anytime that is not the summer. The staff leaves anywhere between 5 PM and 7 PM meaning that if you arrive after that time there is no one there to help you get access to your room. You will then go into your hotels.com app to read a message that told you you needed to contact them 24 hours before you go to the hotel to get that access information. This is highly unusual and if you try to call the number after hours, you will be greeted by a recording that simply tells you you are calling after hours. Then when you call hotels.com customer service they will call the same number only to basically tell you that you should have sent to them a message or called them 24 hours before you arrived. It’s very bizarre. It was looking like there was no way we were going to get into our room as we arrived at 9 PM. After about half an hour trying to call and send messages to the hotels.com app and talk to customer service at hotels.com, I finally found that there was an “emergency“ number on the window of the office. When I called that number, the lady who answered magically knew how I could get into my room. So if you go to this place and you can’t get a hold of anyone, call the emergency number on the office door. But it’s an unsettling experience to get to your hotel at night, there’s no staff, & hotels.com tells you the only thing to do is to go back in time and call them 24 hrs ago.

Excellent parking, clean room, staff very helpful. One block easy walk to beach.

Convenient location. Wish the rooms could’ve been cleaned during our stay at least once.

We had never stayed before. Would like to try a cottage next time.

I was pleasantly surprised with the 2 room setup. Clean sheets and towels as anticipated. But the very first thing I checked as I turns it on was the air conditioner filter. It was unfortunately filthy. It had not been cleaned for quite some time. Not just dirty but blocked with dust. The floors were unswept, the cabinet under the bathroom sink looked like a construction site project. I was also surprised there wasn’t a noise curfew as this is a family setting and was taken aback when at 1am one evening a very large group sitting on a porch were loudly shouting, laughing and had no respect for anyone sleeping. At least they stopped when I asked them to. But I should have had to. Would I stay again? Possible. But I will come prepared to feel a bit more comfortable in my space. I do wish I took photos but we had a busy time and it wasn’t priority.
