Breakfast is frequently crowded, and reviews disagree on quality and variety. Rooms are large, yet many note aging decor and issues such as faulty fixtures, inconsistent showers, nonworking appliances, and occasional neighbor noise. Staff are generally kind and professional, though a few reports mention lapses or billing mistakes; cleanliness is mostly good with some issues. Facilities like the pool and gym are appreciated even if some areas show wear or highway noise; overall, expect a spacious, well-located base rather than a modern, polished stay.

I stayed 5 nights in the 5 star hotel but should be a 4 star. 30 yrs old hotel in dire need of a renovation.Great location near metro, restaurants and supermarkets. The view to Museum of the Future was fantastic. The rooms were very big and had a small kitchen. The management took care of complaints in a very professional manner and the staff at the hotel were very nice. The buffet in the restaurant during ramadan was very good. Did not try breakfast. On the minus side: booked a non-smoking room due to lung problems but hotel would not confirm a non-smoking room. They also ignored my mails and questions reg. transfer. The rooms were dated and had old smelling carpets and furniture. Windows were shut closed so no fresh air. The unpleasant smell was disguised all over the hotel with a heavy toilet like air freshener smell. Cant recommend hotel for anybody with lung or allergy problems. Pool had the greatest view but was next to 20+ motorway lanes with heavy traffic- SOOOO NOISY. There were only 19 sunbeds for a potential 1000 guests. Would have been nice if pool opened 7 am for an early swim. Pool closed 7 pm (also a shame) and already from 6 pm, hotel staff asked us to leave and removed the sunbeds. They were very rude. For comparison, I stayed in a new 5-star hotel, The First Collection Business Bay with free access to the private beach club Soluna on the Palm. It was such a different experience. Going back to Dubai, I would absolutely chose a new 5-star hotel instead

- Very helpful and kind staff. - Excellent location. - Facilities and furniture very dated... - Cleanness is just ok. - Pool area needs an urgent upgrade. - Food is good, but breakfast get super crowded and noisy. - It is definitely more a 3-4 star hotel, not a 5 star in Dubai.

You get what you pay for. It was one of the cheapest options and it felt that way. Hotel is very very old - it feels like entering a Time Machine. I booked this hotel specifically for the price, spa and pool. The pool overhangs the highway and is very noisy. The spa is a little creepy and the massage I got was terrible. I kept telling the person that what they were doing (sitting on me, straddling me, and putting all their weight on BONE not muscle) was incredibly painful. In a 60 minute massage, she spent 35 minutes on my calves/shin bone and wouldn’t stop when asked. Would not recommend the hotel or spa. Also sink in room was broken and it took 24 hours for someone to come fix.

Upon arrival at 4pm we waited two additional hours to check in, only to find out the room we booked wasn’t available. The staff promised our proper room would be ready the next day, but after waiting all day to transfer, we were informed at 5 PM that no room was ever held for us. This blatant dishonesty was incredibly frustrating. To make up for the inconvenience, we were offered free breakfast buffet tickets. However, the dining area was so overcrowded that finding a seat was impossible during all four days of our stay. The issues didn’t stop there. One of the elevators was out of service, forcing us to use the stairs, which led us through a construction zone in the basement with no signage for a proper exit—an unacceptable safety hazard, especially with children. Room service was also poorly managed, either arriving at 8 AM while we were still sleeping or late in the evening at 7:30 PM. This was one of the most poorly managed hotel experiences we’ve ever had. We expected far better and are deeply disappointed.

The rooms were cool and very clean. The 1st room has a perfect view (just in front of the Museum of the Future) and the 2nd Room (Captain's Suite) was really nice and elegant. Thanks to the receptionist Antony. I have only minor issues during my stay that the phone in the 1st room is not functioning well. Also you need to ask for the room slippers and the vanity kit. But overall, aside from its accessibility, it is awesome. I will definitely recommend Millennium Plaza Downtown Suites to family and friends

This hotel location is very good but the hotel is very old and you don’t even find charging ports/plugs in the rooms. Also, we stayed for 6 nights, the breakfast buffet has only two menus, they recycle these two menus, it was boring. If you are looking for a decent hotel in a good location and your stay is for a couple of days, you can consider this. Otherwise, if you really want to enjoy the modern Dubai, I don’t recommend this at all. Wish I know about this hotel before I booked my trip, I certainly would have stayed a newer hotel.

Honestly the room was like a much less attractive, dated, older version of what is shown on the listing - we were disappointed to stay in a room that felt like it hadn’t been updated in about 20 years. The sauna/steam rooms the same. That being said the staff were friendly and attentive.

Room service was also poorly managed, either arriving at 8 AM while we were still sleeping or late in the evening at 7:30 PM. This was one of the most poorly managed hotel experiences we’ve ever had. We expected far better and are deeply disappointed.

I love this hotel, and especially the most amazing customer relations personnel, specifically, Sandy She is truly amazing as she provided me with superior service, professionalism kindness, and gave me an amazing room on the 17th floor that has become my home for six days The room is large, and has the most incredible view of the museum of the future. Burj Khalifa Dubai Towers and the essence of Dubai The pool experience is amazing as well where I receive excellent customer service from Ramzy and Sharif … Bilal with the cleaning staff is also AMAZING and sooo many more The hotel is convenient and also has a car if you need to reach an event and the people are incredible including the taxi driver… I highly recommend this hotel for friends and family and thank you for a magical experience that I am still enjoying

The hotel's very good cleanliness, comfortable rooms, and convenient location, just a 10-minute walk from the metro, made it perfect for my 2-day conference trip. The exceptional 5-star service was the highlight of my stay. I will certainly choose this hotel for future visits.

Check in extremely slow.. But overall good experience. Some kind of ventilation made quite a lot of noise on the very top floor - could have been nice to avoid. Walking distance to the world Trade Center

I had a very good stay for 10 days. Although the hotel is almost fully booked the service is excellent. No issues with the elevators. Very helpful staff, specially Douglas. The location is perfect near WTC. Thank you Millennium Plaza Downtown.

Average hotel. Great view though if you book Museum view. My only complaint was about room service. Clearly stated that 50% off but they charged me full amount. They said sorry and told me on next order get 50% off, Lol! At checkout no action was taken. Not happy

Central location on the SZR. Opposite the Museum of the Future. Close to 2x Metro Stations. Taxi's easy to flag down. Loads of eateries and grocery shops around the area. Dubai Mall in walking distance. Friendly staff. Special callout to Nassim for his forever friendly welcome at breakfast times, his attention to detail. Decent size rooms.

This is a good hotel and in a central location in DIFC. It's definitely dated and in need of an upgrade to compete with newer 5-star hotels but the room rate was very good. The room was large, relatively clean but a few hairs in the bathroom that weren't mine! The bath/shower combo wasn't great and the shower control was difficult to get to the right temp. Around a 10-minute walk to the Emirates Towers metro and a 10-min Uber ride to Dubai Mall. A few basic restaurants nearby but you'll need to travel a bit further to get better options. Staff friendly and check in was quick.
