Amazing individually owned property that far exceeds expectations from customer service to the room, the grounds, and the delicious breakfast. They truly love their work and their customers. There is a bonus "secret" garden courtyard in the back of the hotel to enjoy during your stay.

All the staff were helpful, polite, and professional. I was there for one night mid-week and received an upgraded room without asking. The lodge had a good, old-school feel to it with wood, stone, and solid furnishings & was well-maintained. Great breakfast. My one suggestion from an environmental viewpoint is to eliminate the personal greeting printed on a sheet of paper found in the room at check-in and under the door before check-out. It was a nice touch but added to unnecessary waste. Would stay again!
