Cambria Hotel Rehoboth Beach

What guests think

Across the reviews, Cambria Hotel Rehoboth Beach stands out as a modern, very clean property with friendly, accommodating staff and extensive amenities, including large indoor and outdoor pools, a hot tub, on-site dining, a gym, and family-friendly spaces.

Rooms are typically spacious and well laid out, with fridges and microwaves, and many guests find the beds comfortable. Common drawbacks include slow or inconsistent restaurant service, occasional maintenance issues like low water pressure or hot tub jets, limited TV streaming with confusing remotes, and noise from hall doors or neighbors. The location is convenient to outlets and highways but requires a drive to the beach, and some guests mention a destination or amenity fee. Overall, expect a clean, amenity-rich stay a short drive from the ocean.

Excellent stay so far!! From my telephone call with Ms. Jody answering my questions about the property to check in (didn't get the gentleman's name) has been a 10/10! The property is in a convenient location. You have the Tanger outlets, Walmart, the boardwalk, downtown Lewes, etc!! There's something for everyone in the family. The room has a modern style that I LOVE. The restaurant, 24 hour game room and fitness center are more perks. the free beverage also was a great touch. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Loved every minute at this hidden gem! Beautiful hotel & great value, not too big, great facilities, big gym, gorgeous lobby, cornhole near pool, a few shady cabanas, & fire pit for ambiance added to its charm etc. Ate there for Taco night & it was better than what we ate at the high end restaurants near boardwalk. Spacious outdoor pool 3x size of others so never felt crowded. We didn’t use indoor pool/ hot tub but saw many that did. Only suggestion is to bring your own beach towel, hotel towels for pool were small. Loved its layout, location close to shops, pharmacy and short drive to beach. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely return.

The hotel is new and modern. The amenities are wonderful. We used the indoor pool, the hot tub, and the gym during our 5 night stay. The complimentary drink coupons for the hotel bar were an unexpected perk. The location appears to be still developing, with some construction staged right next to it. The only negative for us was the thin walls. But that only bothered us the first night. After the noisy neighbors left, all was well. I'd stay here again, and I will add Cambria as a top choice hotel brand to consider for my future getaways.

I loved this hotel! I would go back again and again. The staff were very pleasant. Manager - Josh, very nice. The hotel lobby is beautiful - very modern. Rooms are well designed. Loved the pool, clean. Pool guy was out there at 7am straightening up & testing water. Parking was easy. Property is close to everything - great location. To me, you can't lose with this hotel. I like to give a comprehensive review, so a few critiques that are not deal breakers at all. Need housekeeping to make sure glass on balcony is clean - had a lot of children's handprints. The brochure on the hotel mentions the trickiness of tv remote. That is not an understatement. I would recommend swapping out all remotes as it was hard to access which l have never experienced with a hotel tv remote. l could hear the people next door like they were in my room at times. They were not being extra loud, just felt like there wasn't much of a sound barrier. Lastly, the smoking near the entrance was a little overwhelming at times. But none of those things would keep me from coming back. Love this place! Highly recommend.

staff were amazing, room was clean, great lighting, but the tv was NOT a smart tv as advertised…the internet was locked on the tv so you couldn’t even mirror your phone onto the tv so i had to go out and buy a $40 roku in order to watch something other than the low quality channels. you also cant see what’s playing on the channels, just the channel names. overall, if you care about streaming services then bring something to connect with because it is NOT a smart tv.

The room's lighting was poor. Lights by the beds were not meant to read by. NO comfortable seating in the room, only a coach which did not face the TV and a desk chair. TV did not offer any streaming services - only regular TV. We had no idea the TV offered no Movie rentals nor the ability to access cable streaming. They have had this issue for a year per front desk staff. Went to restaurant within hotel for a Prime Rib dinner as advertised. Nope no prime Rib dinner. According to staff Chef was out. Offered us a steak dinner. Steaks were too tough to eat. Offered us 2 free drinks for the inconvenience If these issues were fixed we would go back.

The indoor pool, hot tub and game room were perfect for a rainy day. They have outdoor fire pits that can be used is cooler weather. The room doors close very loudly so you can here your neighbors come and go. We had to purchase a fan to help reduce the noise from the hallway and room next door. Overall great experience, just wish they didn't place guests next to each other when the hotel had very few guests.

For the property being a four star hotel they don’t act like it. For example, we called to order an extra pillow. Two hours later we still didn’t receive it. We had to go get it. Secondly, when they cleaned our room they forgot to give us clean towels. The dining service is very slow, you have to flag your waitress down to get your check. Lastly, the lady at the front desk was visibly sick or had really bad allergies as she kept having to stop checking me in to blow her nose or sneeze. Not a good look because people on vacation don’t want to get sick the first day.

I didn't like the fact a lovely woman was left ALONE on the night shift with NO ONE ELSE on property to deal with EVERYTHING, including the most confusing TV remote EVER made (which, by the way, is clearly stated in the "informational" flyer that's handed to you upon check in), and explains clearly that the front desk associate can assist you with... It's not exactly located on "the beaten path", and to me is a recipe for disaster. In my opinion you can't pay that woman enough...invest in some sort of security

I recently stayed here and overall, it was a great experience. The hotel itself was well-maintained, clean, and comfortable. The rooms were spacious, the amenities were top-notch, and the location was ideal for both relaxation and convenience. The pool, outdoor and indoor, were wonderful and just the vibe we needed post our beach time. However, the service and staff organization left a bit to be desired. While the team was polite, there were noticeable lapses in coordination and efficiency. Restaurant service could have been a bit more organized and attentive as wait times exceeded which hindered our check out process. Nevertheless, i understand things happen and services could be lacking to multiple reasons. Overall, i would still consider staying again for the quality of the hit alone.

Overall, the hotel was great. It was clean, the room was huge and comfortable, and the staff was nice. My only disappointment was in the restaurant - there was some issue that caused the milk to curdle at breakfast. I overheard someone talking about this, then my kids were served chocolate milk where the milk was separated! The waitress was very kind about it, and shared that the chef drank a glass to ensure it was safe. The rest of the food was OK, except my French toast was really sour tasting - I'm thinking there was a fridge issue that made more go bad than just the milk. Additionally, it took us forever to get our food and we were the only ones at the restaurant. I'd definitely stay at the hotel again, I'd just avoid the restaurant next time.

It was summer, so we understand the open patio by the restaurant/ pool area is inviting to guest. However there were flies everywhere! Food was great but we couldn’t enjoy eating it bc the flies were everywhere. Around us, on our food, it was so bad we complained about it and the staff gave our boys fly electric swatters to keep them away. Not exactly the fix we were looking for. Other than that we enjoyed our stay there.

Beautiful place to stay. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Amenities were great. The restaurant needs better management. Apparently, there was not enough food, everything we ordered the waitress returned saying they are out. This happened about 3 times. Finally when the food arrived, instead of eating our dinner, we had to constantly fight off several flies and food nats. The breakfast menu was the same. Returned several times stating they are out… how are you out of basic eggs, and breakfast meats at 9am when breakfast is over at 11:30am! For the amount of money they charge for a platter of food you would expect better quality and enough food. Back to fighting the flies the entire time.

The property was very nice and clean. The amenities are nice however the indoor pool was not well heated and too chilly for my kids to enjoy. The hot tub was large and nice but the jets didn’t work while we were there, not a big deal. The main downside is that breakfast isn’t included (unlike most other similar hotels in the area) and the restaurant was disappointing. The food wasn’t good at all, I got a sandwich picked up to eat in the room and it was too burnt to eat. We wanted to order pasta but they said there was no pasta due to a contaminated batch of flour. Overall the dining needs a lot of improvement
