There were a couple of things that were off for me. 1. The bathroom light and I think fan went off like 10 times while showering and brushing my teeth. 2.The room was like a boutique but the lights in the room were very low. 3. There was no mini fridge and I could not refrigerate my leftovers from downstairs. Air Conditioner was on a timer for ECO and it was set and could not be changed so I think it was locked. I did love the ease of parking. The exit under the portico very refined. Although, my daughter met me and said several people were confused and entered the exit. I loved loved loved the fire pit and the people I encountered. The bakery was nice. In the morning there seemed to be an upscale crowd. On the day I arrived, the power was out and asked for a high floor before I found I had to walk 4 flights but the elevator kicked in soon afterwards. Overall, I was satisfied.

The only downside was it being so small there wasn’t a lobby area to congregate in. And we didn’t want to tie up tables or seats within the cafe. And during peak times of the cafe hours the parking was a little hard to sort out. But other than that we loved the stay.

A little gem in Falls Church. The rooms are simply furnished with a Shaker aesthetic. The look works - clean and contemporary. Lots of nice little touches. Nice coffee available downstairs in the morning, Saratoga water in the room. We were greeted at reception with a muffin, got coffee and a pastry at Godfrey’s downstairs. Well worth it.

Nice small hotel, friendly staff, great bakery. Rooms need more lighting, very dark and windows face right into neighboring apartment windows so need to close curtains for any privacy. Lacking a mini fridge, microwave as well.

The Good: The low price, we paid only $130. The location was convenient for us. Parking was simple and free. Godfrey\'s Bakery Café in in the same building served wonderful pastries and coffee for breakfast - free to room guests. The Bad: The room was tiny! Smallest of any hotel room I\'ve ever stayed in. The faucet in the bathroom was not connected to the sink, so it moved around and swiveled. No bath, but a small shower with 1/2 of the door area permanently open! Water splashed out onto the floor mat. The room heater was very loud, similar to a city bus.The walls were thin, we could easily hear a telephone conversation in an adjacent room. The room had no facial tissues - no where to put them either, so little shelf space. Also, no iron, or ironing board, and a tiny clothes rack. There was no permanent Check-In counter, only a small, portable table set up in a hallway. Often there was no one "in attendance" at this table. The 2-person elevator was tiny - 3 (normal sized) people was a tight fit.

Perfect for a convenient stay in the DC area. The rooms are small, but ample, and very clean and quiet. While they did not have a mini fridge or microwave, the room included a pastry and coffee at the adjacent bakery, which is fantastic. Many locals regularly visit the bakery for the ambiance and excellent products. Coffee and tea are also available in the little lobby area. We'll visit again when in the DC area.

Stayed for two nights. This hotel has the potential to be really great, but it’s just okay. My room smelled of old cigarettes being covered up by an overpowering air freshener. When you flushed the toilet or ran the sink water for too long it started to smell like sulfur. There were still toenail clippings from the last guest on the floor and also found two little worms on the ground in my room. They are also doing construction on the back patio which would have been nice to know about before booking. They also have a restaurant attached that felt overpriced for the food I got.

I was offered an alternate room, but was loathe to repack and move. It began working so I thought things were fine and then it went out two more times. My room was not well cleaned routinely. The shower soap dispenser went unfilled and was empty until I requested replenishment, my toilet, sink, mirror, and trash were not cleaned on one evening of my stay.

My husband and I chose this hotel due to the proximity to a New Year’s Eve party and based on the pics on the website. The elevator barely had room enough for 2 people. (Not kidding) The hotel turned out to be a very small, old, renovated, boutique hotel. It’s fine for a one night stay, but we wouldn’t recommend for a long stay. Rooms are small , including the beds . We found a roach circling around the shower at 2:00 am which was a turn off . Website offers a breakfast which turned out to be a coffee and a muffin . Room did its job for the night.

This is a great value for a hotel if you need to go to DC. The hotel is modern, clean and in a great neighborhood. Nice linens, great shower. Complimentary water in the bedroom and coffee in the morning with fresh delicious muffins. Plus parking is for free! Great stay

We spent a short period of time at the property and got to leave early. We loved the tasty welcome cookies when checking in and the water bottles in the room. The room was beautiful and very clean. The staffs were very accommodating since we would checked out at 5am before the comp coffee and bakery available, they gave us coffee to go the day we arrived which was nice of them. The only problem was the room smelled like new furniture coating/paint, I wished they have air purifiers.

This is an excellent place to stay! The staff is friendly and top notch. We love the bakery which is attached to the hotel. The rooms are clean and modern. They are small so this would not be a great option for children or if you have a lot of luggage. Extremely walkable location with lots of restaurants near by.

This is a great place to stay. The only concern was the noise from the rooms next to mine. You could easily hear everything discussed etc. Other than the very thin walls, I would recommend it.

The aesthetic is gorgeous but it was a very tight squeeze. From the lobby to the elevator, the hallway and the room itself. We had to coordinate our movement around the room so we wouldn’t bump into each other. We wouldn’t go back because the small spaces made it pretty uncomfortable.

Not enough lighting in the room. There was a lamp at the far corner, a wall light between the beds, the bathroom light and a tiny desk lamp. The AC/heat unit was noisy. It kept cycling on and off. I even tried keeping the fan on but it still kept cycling. I ended up turning it off completely. The attached bakery was nice and food was delicious.

It was great except for hearing the people next door to us late at night and early in the morning when we were sleeping. I guess the walls are not too soundproofed. Other than that it was fine .

This facility has a large cafe attached and not a marked entrance to the hotel. I walked through the cafe patio and inside cafe, back to the parking lot and then was going through the outdoor cafe again when i saw someone go into a door, so i tried that also. There is not a front desk, just one person sitting at a desk with a laptop. They were there in the morning and evening but a lot of the time noone was there. That was the only issue, the rest of the hotel was very nice, housekeeping was good.

The hotel staff are amazing, friendly, helpful, and kind. My room was turned down for me every night, the room was very clean, and the laundry smells incredible. One of the best experiences I’ve had traveling through the DMV.

Placed a reservation and when I arrived the hotel could not find it. Provided my confirmation and still could not find my reservation. I was placed in a room that was not what I had booked for the first night and then had to check out and move into a different room for the second night. Very inconvenient. I was told I would be getting money back off the first night and a request would be made to Expedia for a comp night but haven't heard anything else about that. Would not recommend.

They even accommodated my picky teen and gave her something she would eat and drink since she didn’t like the muffin choices and doesn’t drink coffee. A superb experience.

It was clean but starting from the lobby to the rooms it didn't really feel like a conventional hotel. Also, the front desk is supposed to be 24/7 but it is not actually 24/7.

Meeting house is a really cute boutique property located in a really quiet location convenient to major highways. The staff is super friendly and professional. I really recommend this place if your in Falls Church. I enjoyed the bakery that is attached to the hotel they have delicious pastries and food. The manager Jordan really considerate ...we had some minor issues and he was able to resolve them effectively and efficiently. Hes very professional and helpful. Monica the night shift manager made my late night check in speedy. I would definitely come back and visit soon!

The hotel is new and clean. Service is severely lacking - we asked for a cleaned room 3 times and never got it once during a 5 nite stay. They dis deliver fresh towels when we asked but didn’t care to remove the old ones. Quirky place but ok for 1-2 nite stay.

Everything about this hotel was great - location,parking,cleanliness, customer service, the bakery attached and the ambiance! We are here for a family trip and came a day early and are staying a day late and we were going to stay in dc the last day and I cancelled that reservation and changed it to here because we loved it so much!

Our stay was absolutely amazing! Matteo was so helpful at check in and throughout our stay. The room was comfortable and immaculate. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The coffee and muffins in the morning were an extra special touch and very yummy! This is our new favorite staycation spot.

This is an excellent place to stay! The staff is friendly and top notch. We love the bakery which is attached to the hotel. The rooms are clean and modern. They are small so this would not be a great option for children or if you have a lot of luggage. Extremely walkable location with lots of restaurants near by.

This is an amazing find. It is quiet and discreet, exceedingly clean, very comfortable, and easy to check in and navigate. It’s close to many restaurants within walking distance and connected to Godfrey’s which is a wonderful French bakery with delicious lunch and dinner items as well. I highly recommend this hotel.

Very nice for a simple stay overnight. Small, clean, simple hotel. Front desk person was very attentive and helped me park. Parking was easy, I just wasn't sure where to. The muffin and coffee the next morning were delicious. In a very nice, safe, walkable part of Falls Church

The Meeting House Hotel felt like we were in a European boutique hotel. The furnishings have a traditional/ modern feel. The beds were very comfortable and everything was super clean and fresh. We were greeted with fresh cookies. The restaurant / bakery is amazing! There is a lovely outdoor patio with a walk up bar and even has a fire pit. Guests of the hotel get a free coffee and pastry each morning and a discount off the menu items. Staff was helpful when we needed ice or extra towels. Very nice family feel and lovely neighborhood. A close drive to local DC attractions too!

Pros: Great comfy bed. Quiet room and the staff super friendly. Fantastic bakery and restaurant. Cons: Complimentary breakfast/coffee wasn't open until 8am. We had to leave much earlier but do want to point out the staff offered to bring us a muffin and coffee prior to our early departure. No coffee maker in the room or check in area. We are big coffee drinkers and need that cup when our feet hit the floor. Overall we would definitely stay here again. Staff was super helpful and friendly. Restaurant with cocktails was excellent. Nice quiet location you can walk to plenty of shopping/restaurants/grocery.

This was our first visit to The Meeting House and it hit all the marks. Beautifully updated, clean, with an amazing and attentive staff. The onsite restaurant Godfrey’s serves an incredible breakfast with world class pastries and superb entrees. The Meeting House will be our go-to property in whenever we’re in the Washington, DC area.

Staying at this hotel is a real treat! It is clean, quiet and comfortable, in a great location, with easy parking, and it offers great touches from the freshly baked cookie you receive on arrival, to the muffin and coffee in the morning at the adjoining bakery, Godfrey’s. This is now our go-to place to stay when in the DC area! Love it!

Very clean room, helpful and friendly staff and a beautiful property. Location is great, attached restaurant food is DELICIOUS! Only issue I saw was that some of the updates are a little off (bathroom fan is run by a sensor and it randomly turns off; there is noise from the hallway and the adjoining rooms; someone's alarm woke me up!) and getting in and out of the hotel takes more coordination than necessary, I am thinking of people for whom accessibility might be an issue. Other than that, I would definitely stay again, well priced, great staff, clean space, lovely!

Property was very clean and when I did see staff at desk, they were very helpful. Hotel feels secondary to attached restaurant/ cafe with no incentive at cafe for being a guest of hotel. Biggest disappointment was no coffee maker in room. Coffee available mornings in lobby if you go down to get it but late evening coffee stand in lobby removed.

The hotel is very nice. The decor is pleasant and our room was always clean. It was very damp, though. The floor was always a little slippery as a result and the duvet was always damp. Changing the AC settings didn't make a difference. We'll give it a try again, though, if we're ever in Falls Church in the future.
