The Showboat no longer has a Casino, so its more family driven, especially with the water park that is opening in July. I liked it and my daughter loved the Lucky Snake Arcade, so I will be back!

My original room that I booked was for some reason or other changed from single king to twin queens. The room was old, and outdated. Only 1 electrical outlet worked. The others didn’t actually hold the plugs. You plug in, it just falls out. Tv stand was missing handles. The bathroom was dirty. This is the only time we’ve come here and had a room this bad. Maybe instead of the water park, they could sink some money into cleaning and updating the rooms themselves

If your standards are not too high, this is a great pick. Reception is friendly and quick, the location is great, being right next door to the Hard Rock and Ocean. The arcade is fun. The price is right. Now $20-25 a day to park is nuts. But still works out.
