Ocean Casino Resort

Check in was quick and easy. The room was ready it was clean and looked new. Elevators were fast and split amongst stops with numerous elevators. Restaurant choices have increased. Has many outdoor relaxation spaces. Pool was open but is small. I had A nice time. Would recommend

We stayed at the Ocean Casino for dinner, a concert and an overnight stay. The Casino's hotel impresses with great service and outstanding facilities. We very much enjoyed our dinner at Linguini By The Sea and our concert at Ovation Hall. Our room gets high marks for cleanliness, plus a great view of the ocean.

The pool area needs work. Not enough pizazz. Barely hear the music. Overcrowded People are gambling & partying certain restaurants need to be open at leadt til 2am. Not ever4wants thst "quick' bite yo eat.

We have been going to Oceans Resort Casino for the last seven years and we went to it before it changed hands when it was the Revel. They do have new restaurants, which is fantastic. We did go to Ocean steak and our steaks were wonderful. The pool was my issue. There was so much sand and black things floating in it as though the filter couldn’t keep up. We have never had that problem before. Check in was supposed to be easy but there was a slight issue because we use my husband’s credit card with his name on it and the hotel reservation was under me. So we couldn’t just go get a room key. We had to wait a long lines.

Dispensers in the shower for body wash, shampoo and conditioner did not work or were not filled. Whatever happened to bar soap? Also, pools we’re filled with kids and adults could not even swim a lap.

The hotel was clean. Family pool is not for adults, lots of kids not behaving and splashing and the young lifeguard was intimidated by the clientele. Adult pool is very very small and you have to pay to have a lounge chair. Smoking is still allowed on the casino floor making it extremely difficult for non smokers to stay for any extended time to gamble. Sports bar on the casino floor had a very rude bartender, noticed by multiple people. Took 25 minutes to get a drink and skipped over several people, no self awareness of whom was next. Concert venue was great, plenty of bars on the floor and facilities are well maintained. The hotel attracts a certain clientele that may not appeal to the average Vegas visitor like myself. Unclear if I would go back, until they address some of these lapses in service.

Room was without body wash or towels when we checked in. We had to call multiple times to get them provided.

Clean room, clean hotel, luggage brought to room and valet parking. Plus having restaurants in the hotel and a food place open 24 hrs on top on the casino makes this truly a 5 star hotel.

Everything was spotlessly clean, staff were extremely nice and helpful. This is the overall best hotel in Atlantic City.

2nd time staying and attention to the room has gone down.Appreciated getting in room early but when getting ready to go to see the show realized no bath towels were in room and had to use hand towel to dry off. Called and towels were brought up later. Thought the glass doors in bathroom were in need of cleaning. The next day no wash clothes left and tissues were not filled leaving only 3 tissues as well as carpet not swept over. For over $500 per night expected better customer service!

The room we stayed was dirty, there was a little kid shirt left behind, no body soap for shower have to call to ask for it and they bring me a bar soap, not even what I asked for, the floor was sticky when we first walked in the room, the door has lots of fingerprints, the door handle was dirty got something on it and it sticks to my hand. paying this price for the hotel room and not even a bottle of water in the room.

We had unclean bathroom . No saop ,called several time for restocking , thrash in the room was left unclean , dirty sink , flickering lights and had to called them 3 times to fix same issue and also no there were no robes when we called we wasn’t offered any , garbage was left outside our door for several hours

The only reason I give a 2 for cleanliness it’s because our shower in our bathroom was not clean. Saw mold, red spots, someone else hair on the shower wall. Looks like the shower havent been clean in months, i believe they only cleaning toilets and sinks and skipping shower.

When we arrived our room had not been cleaned properly. There was a bug and hair in the shower, as well as hair on the bathroom floor. There was also a dirty glove on the floor in our closet. I had to call 3 times plus go down to the front desk before I could get someone to clean the room. My initial call, I was told I needed to wait because it was change of shift, which I thought was very inconvenient and inconsiderate after driving 4.5 hrs to get there. I went to the front desk after my 3rd call and 1.5 hrs later and requested to speak to a manager. Jojo was flat, insensitive and dismissive, didn't seem to take my complaint seriously. She made it seem like I was wasting her time. Her resolution was a fake apology and $150 resort credit. The pool water was cloudy and not very clean, no matter where you were there was something floating in it. After that initial headache the rest of our stay was quite nice. Our housekeeper Jacqueline made sure our room was clean and we had extra towels. We ate breakfast ate Harper's twice and both times we had William as our waiter, who was wonderful. We also ate at Villain & Saint, the food was good, but the drinks were watered down and it took very long to get our food. Both restaurants were good, and though the wait staff try their best, it's clear that they are short staffed!

My room was reasonably clean and everything worked. However, the common areas of the property (hallways, elevators, lobby, garage, etc.) are dirty and in poor condition. One of the lobby areas had a puddle of vomit covered by napkins that nobody bothered to clean up. When we checked in there were bags of trash and dirty sheets and towels lining the hallway, and they were still there hours later. Water pressure is low in the shower, and there was no hand soap or soap dish in the bathroom. Hallway carpet outside the room was dirty as were almost all of the floors in the common areas, as if they are not vacuumed or mopped frequently enough. Staff was friendly and helpful except for security staff at the hotel elevators, who were indifferent to rude in one case (to another guest, not me). Overall, this hotel is a low four star experience at best, nowhere near five star, and way overpriced for what is essentially a limited service hotel with some lipstick poorly applied.

Stunning beach views, clean and modern room, hip vibe

Booked a room on a high floor for views (floor 32 and above) and were not disappointed. Room was spacious and very clean. Used the fitness center in the morning and again was pleasantly surprised - it had more to offer than my local gym! Missed no microwave - I like making tea during my stay. There was no coffee pot either, but upon calling the front desk a small individual machine was sent to our room along with cups, sugar and creamers. No complaints at all, just wish there was a book or flyer with a map of the hotel and amenities - the guide on the TV didn't really give locations or a map. However, any of the staff from housekeeping to key checkers at elevator banks to casino workers to front desk were all very pleasant and helpful.

Beautiful room. Everything was great. However, I found the bed to be uncomfortable. It’s just my personal preference, I like a firm bed.

The room was comfortable and quiet. The hallways were extremely cold, therefore, we kept the thermostat up higher. We had a partial ocean view.

Check in was good. The checking out was great. The only issue I encountered was that my room was right by the elevator and the noise was a bit much. The service was very good. The room was very clean. My room’s view was excellent. The food in the hotel was good. I enjoyed the concert I attended in the hotel. The access to the concert was great and when the concert ended leaving the area was very easy. I have stayed here many times and will continue to do so.

The hotel is absolutely awesome. It stands out from the rest on the strip. The room was fabulous and had wonderful views over Atlantic City and the Atlantic Ocean. The room was immaculately clean, the staff we encountered were helpful and courteous. The resort itself had everything you could want and more. There is no need to leave the resort. It catered for every whim, shopping, eating, drinking, relaxing and of course the gambling. The Boardwalk is a must for every visitor.

There is a park right off the lobby overlooking the ocean thats amazing, with plentry of picnic tables, benches and rocking chairs. The downsides are that theres not a lot to do there, except gamble. Lots of empty open spaces to put in more shops or other attractions, but I believe this is on purpose to keep the quiet luxury feel. This hotel is at the very end of the boardwalk, so you have quite a hike to get to other things. The highlight: The gentlemen who worked security scanning hotel keys. He had a beautiful singing voice and made my friend"s day by holding her hand, singing to her, then kissing her hand. Give that man a raise!

Yes room was spotless! It could have easily be an excellent review only if it had a coffee maker and a microwave in the room! Definitely 9/10

Everything was clean and the staff i talked all were great

The hotel is absolutely beautiful and the staff was very welcoming…aside from all the women at the front desk. I had three different women be beyond disrespectful to me. They didn’t explain any of my charges, they wouldn’t even look me in the eye and cut me off from even speaking so I couldn’t even explain my concerns.

My wife and I arrived at the hotel and reached the front desk at 4:10 which is 10 minutes after the start of check in. I booked a studio suite which is an upgraded room. After the desk agent took my card and ID and checked me into three property, she told me my room would not be ready for about 20 minutes because the cleaners weren't finished with it. She told me I would receivean email when the room was ready. She said the room would be on the 39th floor. I didn't make a fuss and just returned to my car to leave it bags there. When 5pm rolled around and I still had not received an email, I returned to the front desk. A different desk agent helped us this time. She could see my wife was upset. The only consolation that we were given was that check in starts at 4pm but they couldn't guarantee the availability of the room at that time. She did say that the cleaners just finished the room and they could give us key cards. It was 5:10pm, a full hour after we originally arrived at the front desk. I was unsatisfied with this response so I asked to speak with a manager. After waiting for about 5 minutes I asked if she could just provide me with the business card of the manager. At that point she went to the back and returned with someone who apeared to be about 20 years old. This guy lacked customer service skills and empathy. He gave the same response that they could not guarantee the room's availability at 4pm when check in begins and it could take all the up to 9pm.

The property is beautiful and I was very satisfied with the room and available amenities. The check in wait was long but the associate Mykah made the check in process so easy. She was wonderful at her job. The only issue I had was with requesting late check out. I called the operator at 5 am to request late check out. I was told I have to call at 8 am to make that request. I called at 8.30 am and I was told the report generates at 9 am to call then. What a joke if someone wants late check out they want to relax and sleep in and not keep calling to make this request. I have stayed at numerous hotels and I have never heard of this procedure. Lastly when I called at 10 am ...no one answered. I highly recommend the leadership to change this process - it's totally nuisance.

I waitted 2 hours to check in, room was not ready.

Front desk staff should be end all of customer service. First I requested non-smoking room inky to get to room which was obviously smoked in and masked over. Had to go back to front desk to get another room. Then after paying $3.75 for a room temperature small bottle of water from vending the woman at the front desk gave me attitude about the vending being third party and I could get ice in my room. I explained there was no plastic bag in the ice bucket and she told me that was housekeeping not front desk responsibility. Why did I need to suggest she call housekeeping for me. When the first room was smoked in I tried to use the phone in the room only to be on hold for over 5 minutes. I also got attitude from the high limit security because I didn’t have a prime card but there was only 2 people playing. I would give this hotel 1 star but the restaurant Sunny’s was good. After paying $375 for a room after parking this was another anwful Atlantic City experience.

Check in is really a challenging - we stayed on line for over an hour - the room was not ready until after 6pm- we of course must check out before 11am - so these things only work one way - BUT it is a beautiful hotel - the staff are very kind - the food is excellent - a little pricey but nice sized portions -

They definitely need better staff, it one of the most expensive hotel, I visit many places, and I feel that I have enough experience to compare places where I stayed, all I want to say, this hotel need definitely better staff.

The Ocean Casino and Resort was amazing. The room was spotless and staff was friendly. Access to the beach was easy and it was also clean and staff was very friendly. We had breakfast both days at Harper’s and it didn’t disappoint. Food and staff were great!

The best hotel in Atlantic City. It's a bit like a resort. Best feature is you can skip the casino florist and just use it like a hotel, which is great because I don't gamble :-)

Great spot

Access to the beach was convenient. I enjoy sitting on the beach early in the morning. Not sure if chairs are included but that should be an option.

We were attending a concert here and decided to give it a try. The rooms were nice and bright. Very clean. The view of the ocean was amazing. Checkin was easy. We beat the lines for key pick up by a half hour. Places to eat were all over. We decided on Wahlburgers. Was solid. We attended concert. Then grabbed tea and some snacks in the lobby. We also ordered room service. Every experience was excellent. We intend to return.

The property was very clean and inviting. The front desk staff and staff in the stores was not very friendly. Our brunch at Harper’s was one of the best meals I’ve had! Our server Gandolfo was wonderful!

Great weather great food at La Scala

The view of the beach was unobstructed. The restaurants in the resort were very good and the staff was friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend staying at the Ocean Resort.

What a wonderful experience. The staff at Sunny's, Ocean Steak, Walburgers and Zhen Bang were top notch. The spa is a must. A special shout out to Randy and Matt at Ocean Steakhouse. Incredible weekend get away.

Very nice property. Room was nice, casino and shops were very nice. There are a lot of dining options, a little pricey but expected.

Pros: Room was spotless, confortable king bed, nice view of the ocean Food was great: Amada, café Easy parking, decent price Early check in was available. Great customer service. Pool was a little crowded but not too crowded. Water was good temperature. Awesome hotel/casino will definitely stay again Cons: Called the night before to request Late check out they said to call the next day.I called the next day and they said no more late check outs available.

Room was great. Wonderful service. Lots of food options and a beautiful view. Not a place for kids. If you don't mind spending extra, it’s worth it.

The only thing the staff of the Zhen Bang Noodle & Sushi restaurant the three people who are in front of the table the receptionists have a very bad attitude and speak very badly to the staff. That was on Sunday night.
