Motel 6-Fort Worth, TX - Downtown East

Blankets had cig burn even tho it's a non smoking room. Staff pretty friendly and understanding. Area isn't the best but not the worst either. No pool so sad about that. Overall a pretty ok experience.

This property did not meet my expectations based on the pictures. The hotel was very dirty in the hallways without a/c.

AC worked good and the room was okay but everything was a bit dirty. It also took a long time to check out, I had to call them on the phone to make them come to the desk and there was a long line. I did like the security at night since the area is pretty shady.

Everything was nice ...both icemachines were not working. No ice!

I will say it was Halloween. Dogs barking in the hallways. People up all night, elevator looks like it’s been shot up. They require a $20 deposit that will be refunded at checkout. Seems a-lot of people check out late. The tub drained slow. The hallways smell like bad foot odors. Not good. Do not stay here.

The elevator was dirty and smelled like someone had smoked some weed in there. Dirt and stains on the floor in elevator looked like hadn't been swept or mopped in a long time !! Our bathroom floor looked like hadn't been swept as well hallway carpet looked dirty could use a good shampoo!!

This place is a complete dump bedbugs cockroaches, and that is just the staff. Bedbugs and cockroaches in the rooms, big enough to steal your bags and maybe even steal your car. Not anywhere on the website did state that they would charge $50 for parking, which is absurd would never stay here again even if it was for free. This place should be condemned by the state and the owner should be locked up for attempting to charge people to stay at this place.

The place was bare bones and worrisome. There were different things found in the elevator every night I was there to include vomit and a mysterious substance that smelled questionable at best.

Ac was good, cleanliness was terrible. Someone let their dog crap on the floor in the hall and it was still there the next morning. Initially put us in the wrong room, which was a disaster zone. Window was left open and the bed unmade. Moved into correct room (two Queens) and was fine.

The Property Is Very Nasty, There Was Bugs All Over The First Room They Gave Me, I Did not Sleep Comfortably At All, Will Not Go Back

Bedroom was very clean with plenty of usb connections, 4/5 stars. Bed was nice. Air conditioner was noisy. Bathroom was a mess, faucets were hanging through the wall with big gaps where bugs would came in. Found roaches in the bathroom. Big 0.

They had bedbugs

It was the worst experience of my live they are bed bug infested I got bit and had an allergic reaction even I went to front office to tell them and request a refund I was told no so I asked for corporate number and got put on do not return list. I will be in contact with corporate still and the health department because it is in violation

Room was not cleaned from previous person. Hallway smelled of pot, paint coming off tub, toilet was plugged when we walked in, once fixed kept running,

There was mold in the shower and the fridge kept leaking

The single king smoking room was spacious and very clean

Ghetto... Hotel was sketchy as heck. The entire place has this weird combination of musty and cigarette smoke and fresh paint smell permeating through the whole place. The smoke smell was faints and they're doing a decent job of trying to get it removed. Our hotel room though was a different story as the smell of someone smoking outside came in through the bathroom vent and made the whole bathroom smell of marijuana smoke. It was so bad I actually asked to change rooms and kept the door to the bathroom shut. What was infuriating is that their first offer to try and fix it was to provide a couple of air fresheners. to the front desk guy's credit, I declined the air freshener solution and he was able to provide a new room. 2 days in a row while staying there we had a visit from police officers regarding something unrelated and I didn't want to have anything to do with it. In our first room the air conditioner was extremely loud and made it difficult to sleep. But the second room we had a much nicer air conditioner and that went much better. The room was reasonably clean but there was always a faint smell of smoke somewhere and the whole area just didn't feel all that safe.

No hot water And the toilets didnt work had to fill the back of the toilet with sink water after every flush

I asked The clerk because you cannot do it in your room and was not aware; he said " put your phone her" pointing to the desk in front of him. I said "give me one moment I need to get it out of my purse." He says " just take time And relax yourself." What the? Wow. I was pretty relaxed. Next morning 10:57 a.m. The door opens,I hear barking from the hall and I say, hello? Next thing you know a man says, It's time to leave, Check out time. I will be out in a few moments I say. I cannot believe they just opened the door and told us to leave. We hear this man go to several more doors and say check out time is now,You must leave the property. My partner went to the car to load up some luggage on his way in he stopped at the front desk to return the key and collect the deposit they're very hesitant to give it back. And then comes around the corner to the elevator and they ask him, where are you going? and he says, I'm going to bring the rest of my luggage down, The man looks at the clock and the security camera and says you have 10 minutes. You must leave. We exit the room and see a Chihuahua barking in the hallway. This dog had been barking for about 20 minutes. Clearly a ploy to make guests wake up/ leave. When exiting the front of the building a another guest states to me he dropped his phone in the lobby overnight and they would not give it back to him and they would not give him the deposit. Won't stay again.

Air Conditioner Not Working

Our room was infested with roaches and the toilet wouldn’t flush

Most terrible experience I ever had. I guess I can’t complain after booking a cheap hotel, but they said it’s had smoke free rooms and most of the days I couldn’t sleep because it smelled of cigarettes and weed. The toilet could not flush, I could hear noise from all over the rooms that I could not sleep at night.

Initially was give a Queen size room with 1 pillow but it was easy to change to the 2 full size beds room that was actually paid for. Kids & dog barking most of the night but we were there for a place to land for the night

Updated simple but clean

The woman working there was incredibly rude and extremely disrespectful. Was trying to extend my stay and had already paid for the next night, but she insisted that I had to check out at 11:00am and sit in the lobby until 3:00pm before I could check back in. It was the most ridiculous and frustrating experience.

Check-in staff was abrasive, argumentative, and RUDE! I ended up not even staying. Went right around the corner to Super 8, where I was warmly welcomed.

Staff was rude and had a horrible attitude

This is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at in my life. It’s nothing like the pictures and they made up policies that weren’t mentioned before booking. They made us pay a deposit that isn’t mentioned at all before booking that must be paid in cash and they make you use the ATM they have if you do not have cash. The area is super sketch, while we were in our room we hear people screaming at each other in the halls and I saw that there has been past people who have stayed there complaining about their car being broken into before. We didn’t stay there for more than 20 min and decided to leave and not stay there for one more second. After asking for a refund on at least one night since we didn’t stay for the days I booked it for the guy tells me they do not do refunds and it was too late to cancel my reservation.

The manager called me a racial slur. She was very unkind. As well she kept my $25 deposit

I give this place zero stars. I’m ok with a budget hotel, but the staff was the worst part. After checking in, I was ID’d two times before I was allowed to proceed to my room. Your deposit isn’t guaranteed unless you check out in person. They made me wait in the lobby while they checked my room before they released my deposit. Do not waste your money.

Wow. It was a budget stay but pretty bad one. Will never do this again. People (other guests?) were fighting very loudly for a long time into wee hours in the morning. I was expecting to hear a gun shot 😵‍💫 Didn’t feel safe and definitely not worth saving $20-30.

Had planned on a late check in so I arrived in the area when it was already dark and I'm glad I saw it at that time of night.The area is very sketchy. There were several people loitering outside which seemed really odd. It looked more like a short term apartment place than a hotel. I cancelled my stay immediately and had to find another place quickly. I don't ever plan on staying here.

This place was okay. Easy to get to from interstate.

This place has a lot of homeless or unsavory people in and out of the building. Streetwalkers along the parking lots. The property encompasses like three or four apartment buildings and there's homeless people all over. It's very unsafe it's very nasty

Quiet

Marijuana smell through out the entire floor, people walking talking horrible at all hours of the night. People sleeping in cars parked outside camping out. 20 cash only deposit at window before you can get a room.

This is a old Hotel. Lots of pot smokers and crackheads staying there. Owners are terrible. I put a No Room Service sign on my door that i made. Didnt stop the maids they banged on my door anyway. The last day i was there one of the owners banged on my door. She asked me how many days have i been in the room with no maid service? I told her 2. Told her i empty my own trash and swap towels with maid every 2 days. She turned around and walked away. I've never stayed anywhere that the staff and owners we're so rude. I'll never stay there again. I switched to Super 8 off Alta Mere drive. No potheads or crackheads and customer checkin was easy. No hassels or rude stares like Motel 6. Do yourself a favor. Don't book there unless your desperate. Super 8 is same price and you get free breakfast.

As soon as you walk in the door you are instantly overwhelmed with the string smell of marijuana. I was supposed to have non smoking room but literally the entire place smells awful. If you stand around for about 5 minutes in the lobby for maybe 5 minutes you will realize its a huge hang out for homeless people, some even sleeping in the lobby. Rooms are stripped down entirely. While there the police were there and a lot of shady characters. I refused to stay and they were rude and refused to refund me more then one might. Completely misreperesented when you book it! Deserves 0 stars.

Absolutely worst place we ever stayed. No service. Asked for towels or to get room cleaned and we only got a set of clean towels on 5th night there. No coffee even though big picture in lobby with morning coffee. Had to phone hotel for someone to come to front desk to check out after waiting 20 minutes in lobby. No food services close. Staff could not speak english. One star is too much for this hotel. I trust expedia less for adding this hotel to their list of hotels.
