The staff was amazing! They were friendly, very helpful, and went above and beyond what was expected. Breakfast in the morning was good, with lots of options and freshly brewed coffee in every cup. The beds were very comfortable. If you want your room cleaned, you have to ask the front desk. Transport access was a big problem. No public transit in the area & the downtown shuttle had very limited times. We were there for a convention & the shuttles filled up quickly. The hotel was unwilling to offer any extra shuttle trips until the last day which was extremely disappointing. There were no evening times that worked for the convention time and they weren't willing to budge with their schedule. We were looking forward to using the fitness room, pool, and especially the hot tub. Only when we arrived did we find out that the fitness room "was under construction" (with no visible signs of work being done), and the hot tub wasn't working. No compensation was offered. Around the pool wasn't cleaned so there was food and garbage by the seating area with no trash can. On weekends the towels weren't stocked so we had to keep going up to the front desk to ask for towels.

We called to notify the hotel we would be arriving after midnight after some travel troubles. We arrived around 4 am and went to check in. The person checking us in seemed to think we shouldn’t be checking in when check out was at 11 but after traveling over 12 hours to get there, we needed to sleep a few hours. First I was told that I didn’t have a reservation and then after explaining the situation a second time, we were allowed to check in. When we went to park, the ceiling looked to be falling apart. We got inside the building and one elevator was broken and the other made extremely loud noises while moving extremely slow. I was honestly scared to ride in it but there were no stairs available for us to use to climb to the 6th floor. Once we got to our room, we noticed hair in the tub, and toilet and on the bathroom floor. The sheets on our beds seemed to be dirty with hair as well. There was a dead bug inside the cover for the fire alarm. It was quite gross and I was not even able to sleep the few hours I wanted to because it didn’t feel clean. I let the rest of my family sleep until we could get up and check out to move to another hotel.

It was so run down and filthy. The elevator is terrifying, the room was dingy with roaches in the bathroom. The shower only ran scalding hot water. If you switched to cooler it shut off to a trickle. The cover on the AC fell off within minutes of us entering the room. They sent maintenance to fix it but they could not because it was not the cover for the brand of unit. You could hear every neighboring room like the people were in the room with you. Weed clouds everywhere you went in the hotel. The ONLY saving grace for this hotel was the friendly staff. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone

The property was a little bad because of road construction but that wasn't ya'll's fault. The garage floor did need to be washed, but we were very pleased with politeness of staff, taste of breakfast with all the selections and cleanliness of everything. Our stay was very pleasant. Thanks

The hotel staff were professional and kind, there are many updates needed such as paint and fixtures. Our room was okay but the bathroom was filthy, there was hair in the tub and the floor had what looked like dirt splatter everywhere. I woke up to use the restroom around 5 am and seen a baby roach crawling on the mirror.

The AC unit in the room was making loud noises and something rattling inside it periodically. My family and I got in late and needed to get up early so I did not want to wake them up just to move since we had to get up early. While outside, I heard another unit clicking off and on every few seconds. Please do a maintenance overhaul.

The bed and pillows were comfortable, Trucks collect bins every day at 3:30am, if you are on car park side of hotel you will suffer with this. The hotel doesn’t have a restaurant so you need to walk quite some distance to the cbd. The hotel description say it is city centre, it is not. The shower is above bath tube and the switch to divert the shower only partially worked so more water went on your feet than to the shower. Staff were friendly

Staff was friendly and professional. First room didn't look clean and had bathroom sink leak from the faucet across the top. Staff moved us to another room quickly. On 2 mornings of the stay, the hotel ran out of hot water. There should be a plan to get a water supply system that can handle the hotel at full capacity in the downtown area of a major city. Also, water pressure is low. There were stains on sheets and wifi was spotty. Breakfast was fine.

What I didn’t like was that the employee James was asleep on the job and then proceeded to argue with me that I didn’t have a reservation and wanted to turn me out for the night. Thankfully I had my Expedia reservation confirmation email as well as the check in text all explains I would be a late check in due to I was coming from California off of a 23 hour drive to crash before I pick up my keys to my new place. He was even more irritated when I asked about check out times, breakfast, and how to get to my room and tossed my room key at me. I’ve never stayed at a Holiday inn before and this was my first person to person experience in Texas and it was disappointing. I won’t be booking with Holiday Inn again after that experience.

I have business in the Tarrant County Courthouse, and this property is very close by. The staff at this hotel is terrific. They have always been courteous and ready to help. We will continue to stay here during these visits.

The front desk staff were fantastic. They offered suggestions for great places to eat. The staff that make morning breakfast a pleasant experience were fantastic. But the room service personnel were 4atrocious. Our room was NEVER cleaned. The bed was never made. We had to get our towels, toilet paper, Kleenex, and empty the wastebaskets.

The staff lady who checked us in was super ingratiating to the man in front of us and took her time chatting with him. I have disabilities and it’s hard for me to stand indefinitely but has no choice as she over indulged chatting around. Then when it was finally my turn, she treated me like I was completely worthless, barely could look at me. I paid way too much for the property. It’s old and run down. Cleanliness is meh. It’s not as close to the area as I had requested. Parking was $25/night and a total surprise. Breakfast was lame and not like the picture. When I tried to call hotel staff about the door not being lockable they never answered. It was so late all night long, ppl being loud outside the property talking , yelling, laughing. Very noisy in hall too with the doors being super loud and ppl exiting and entering constantly.

This hotel is very convenient to the Texas Harris hospital. I gave it 4 stars only because the parking is terrible. I know it isn't really their fault, it's their location that makes it where they do not have a very big parking area. If you drive anything bigger than a small SUV then you might want to consider elsewhere or park on the street. I drive a suburban and it was a tight fit to get in, park, and to get out. Staff was amazing and very accommodating.

This hotel is in a sketchy area. The parking garage had homeless in it. My 3 year old kid slipped and fell in a puddle in the parking garage next to a wall that had excrement on it. Rooms were dingy and outdated. Loved the night receptionist.

This is a very nice hotel to stay. Easy acess to I 30 close to Sundance Square and not for from Dickies Arena. Go a couple of blocks east and catch the train to Dallas.

When we first pulled up the sign for the hotel was not lit up. There were homeless people everywhere at all times of the day. There was road construction everywhere as well. We had to pay for parking, but the parking lot is on the same lot as the hotel and self parking, so I’m not sure why that would be a thing. There was only one elevator working, and it took almost 4 minutes to get to you anywhere you were. The second broke in the morning but was fixed by midday. The room itself was nice and clean, but the bathroom tub was not working well at all. The shower head was about to fall out of the wall, and you had to put all your strength to put the tub to the shower. It took well over an hour to clean up the throw up in our hallway in the morning. The only redeeming quality was the staff and that breakfast was good. It was definitely not worth $250 a night plus $20 A DAY for parking.

As someone from Springfield, MO, staying a week at the Holiday Inn Express Fort Worth Downtown for the Bassmaster Classic, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! First off, the location is unbeatable—just a short, easy walk to downtown Fort Worth, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the city, dining, and, of course, getting to all the Bassmaster Classic events. The hotel also offers a free shuttle service, which was a great bonus for getting around when I didn’t feel like walking. Whether it was recommendations for local restaurants or making sure my stay was comfortable, they went above and beyond. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, providing a great place to relax after long days at the tournament. It's okay hotel for the price, but there is a reason why it is inexpensive. The main issue is location, about 20 minutes walk from conference center and T&P train station area where the action is. The walk is straight but you have to go through sections where there is no walkway -- have to walk on grass or in car lane which is problematic with luggage. Although much of fort-worth is typical Texas -- just roads, highways, cars and big empty looking buildings -- the area around the hotel is particularly bare. No nearby shops, restaurants, grocery stores, etc.; a gas station convenience store is the closest you get to food/supplies. The hotel does not have a restaurant. They do have a shuttle to conference center area but has only 3 runs in the morning and needs to be booked in advance. The hotel building is rather old but reasonable with the renovations. The breakfast is free but nearly everything is nauseatingly sweet or salty. As usual the egg is horrendously salty and unlike similar breakfasts elsewhere they don't have boiled eggs if you want to get away from salt. They have 3 cereals, all sugary kind; at least they could have put one low-salt , non-sweet cereal, but didn't.

We had a good stay. The hotel is clean, the rooms are clean, the pillows are good, and the breakfast is good. The breakfast lady is especially good at her job and we really enjoyed her energy, positivity, and friendliness. I highly recommend staying here.

Excellent service!! Your staff here are great. Felt welcomed from the time we walked in. Check in before you pay to park. Bonus there. The location is convenient it’s very clean here. The restrooms could be updated. Breakfast was as good as expected. My only complaint was how tight the parking lot is other than that I do recommend.

We've been staying here for years and the staff is always friendly and helpful. The free breakfast is pretty good. Only thing we don't like is that IHG members and military no longer get free parking and you can no longer stream Netflix or anything from your phone.
