Absolutely one of our favorite places to stay when in Milwaukee! A beautiful, vintage hotel with a bar and restaurant downstairs. The room was gorgeous and afforded a lovely view. It’s also across the street from The Rave, so highly recommended for shows.

I stayed in room 319. The bed/mattress was so comfortable that I want to buy one for home! The room can use a "facelift". There are a few areas of wallpaper peeling off the walls which can easily be glued down. Above the bed and on bath wall. Most disturbing was the mold on the tub tiles. Get some Clorox Tub and Tile Cleaner and spray, then scrub it! I'm unsure why I have to tell you this! Maybe the Hotel Manager needs to do a walk through every unit

Staying at The Ambassador was like stepping back in time, but in a good way. The Art Deco touches, especially the beautiful elevator doors, were reminiscent of a more glamorous time, but we also appreciated the modern touches - plenty of places to plug in our electronic devices, and luxurious, fluffy towels. Our room was one of the most spacious we’ve ever stayed in, the bed was comfortable, and - while this might sound strange - it was the best smelling hotel I’ve ever been in. It is possible I was bracing myself for the musty smells of an older hotel; I was very pleasantly surprised.
