What guests think

Travellers describe Comfort Inn & Suites Nashville Franklin Cool Springs as clean, convenient to Cool Springs Mall and I-65, with generally friendly staff and comfortable, often spacious rooms, plus a warm indoor pool, all at fair prices.

Several reviews note morning noise from the Harley-Davidson dealership next door and small, square pillows or firm mattresses. Service is often praised, though some guests encountered unwelcoming or absent front-desk staff and housekeeping that occurs only on request. Wi-Fi and TV features felt basic for a few (slow speeds, daily logins, limited guides), and breakfast quality ranges from good to underwhelming. Good value and nice room for the price. Bright flood lights into my window all night and straight-pipe biker noise from Harley Davidson dealership next door were a zonk. Free breakfast is OK, but you get what you pay for. Gym is pretty sad.

The pool was the hidden gem of this hotel. It was warm and clear. I call it a hidden gem since it is slightly hidden from sight. This is not a fancy hotel but it is super well taken care of. At most hotels, even fancy ones, there are always a few things I spot that needs to be fixed, repainted, or addressed. I don't ever staying in a place where I didn't find any of those items, but I saw none of them. Overall, I would certainly stay here again.

There were a lot of good reviews on this hotel, so I took a chance. The customer service was great. It is an older looking hotel but it is incredibly clean. My only complaint is that they have "half" pillows to sleep on and I didn't sleep well.

Right next to the mall. The breakfast during the week was fruit, yogurt and bagels. No hot food. Will not clean your room unless you ask. The tv cannot connect to streaming, has limited channels and no guide. You also have to log in to WiFi daily. The first night I arrived the front door was locked and no one at front desk. I had to wait outside until employee returned to open door. No number or anything to call to open. It was before 8 pm.

The hotel was great, but there is some miscommunication at the front desk, as well as them often missing in action when you need them. The room is super clean, however, you have to request housekeeping. The first day we requested it when we were down for breakfast (9:30) and he said someone might be immediately upstairs. I told him that they couldn’t come in right away because our other son was still sleeping and he said “too late”. The next day we waited till we were leaving (10am) to run some errands to tell them that we needed housekeeping. That person said we were too late and that he would see what he could do. I find this unacceptable that we could be too late to tell them when they’re still on the floor cleaning, or that they would walk in on us if we were still there. In fact, the one day housekeeping did walk in on us, while we were still in the room, and had the do not disturb on the door. The front desk also seems to be missing in action anytime you needed them. Many times we would go downstairs and nobody was there. At check out, there were three families waiting to check out and the first one said they’d already been waiting five minutes. The hotel is great, they just need to get the front desk to be there, and be on the same page with communication.

I booked for 2 nights a double queen bed room. I had to cancel for one night and didn’t get the option of a double bed room for one night, so I paid extra for a king suite with a pull out bed. The man at check in wouldn’t let me switch to a queen room since I booked thru elsewhere, when I got to my room it was a single kind room. NO pull out sofa bed and not option to change rooms even though I had my reservation showing I booked a room with a pull out bed.

Breakfast was the same every morning, which was fine, as there was some variety, but it was difficult for the one staff member to keep items (such as coffee) filled while dealing with a room filled with people. They could use a little more help during that time. The room itself was clean and the beds comfortable, the shower pleasant. The sink in our bathroom was oddly tall/far back on the counter, which made it uncomfortable for shorter members of our group to wash up. Overall, though, we’d stay here again.
