The front desk staff & breakfast staff were uniformly helpful and friendly. They are the only people we interacted with. We were thrilled with our first floor room location. It was very quiet and the dark drapes worked great. Comfortable bed. Room was well laid out. The pool was closed for repairs - our only down event as I had particularly chosen the hotel because of the pool. Still it was a small enough sacrifice.

Lost power 2 days before Christmas and I had no choice to get a hotel. Stayed here once before on a date night away from the kids and it was beautiful so I knew I would be comfortable here. Checkin was smooth, customer service was excellent. The room was super clean! Didn’t use the pool or gym but everything was available and clean. Checked out at 5am when my power was restored. The front desk made sure my night was great before checking me out.

I booked this hotel cuz it was the only one out of the four in Wallingford who's indoor pool was up and running. I came up for a funeral but ended up having my daughter and her my two grandchildren stay with me two nights while I was here at the hotel. We all had a great time and the breakfast is wonderful.

I knew the hotel was pet friendly, I requested to be in the floor where they did not have pets due to my bad allergies, unfortunately when I arrive there, there was no such thing. I was told there was not much options and there was nothing they could do so it was either me deal with the allergies or have to look for a new room at 4 o’clock in the afternoon when my concert was at six. I barely slept with the dog, barking down the hall I smother the dog in the carpet in the rooms my allergies I was very itchy and sneezing all night. Needless to say I got up at 6 o’clock in the morning and left very early. They should definitely be a floor where they have to accommodate pet allergies.

I have been in this hotel many times (probably over few months) since September 2021. Some renovation done in mid 2022… fantastic! just one thing to maintain full stars review: to replace the dryers in the laundry if repair does not work (a bit annoying to pay 2-3 times to complete the dry since early 2022 😅)

Our stay was excellent! I do not like staying in hotel rooms at all and I felt very comfortable here. The receptionist was very welcoming and friendly, the room was super clean, and the breakfast provided was excellent. The staff setting up the breakfast were cheerful and friendly first thing in the morning. I would highly recommend this location!

A very kind employee at the front desk offered to comp us some points when we gently shared our disappointing experience, which included a dirty towel or two, a dirty microwave, and brown smudges on the bedspread, in addition to a loud, intermittent knocking from the kitchenette that woke us twice during the night. Also, and oddly, there was no fan in the bathroom, which was situated on the other side of the wall from the bed, so there was no privacy due to the layout. I know it is hard to find reliable employees in the service industry, but we paid more than we usually do for this room, and expected a clean and comfortable space, which this unfortunately was not. We made a decision to diverge from our usual loyalty to Marriott, which was a gamble. Despite the courtesy points added to our account (the person did not say how many it will be), we will not stay here again.

I went for my anniversary and was definitely disappointed. The room smelled sooo stuffy we had to open the windows to get the old smell out. Everything in the room was OLD the sofa was worn out, bed hard like rock, and the rolling chairs handle was ripped up. We didn’t complain because it was only one night. But this hotel needs serious upgrading.

The hotel is clean and well cared for. Staff was very kind. The room is great for an extended stay. Large enough with full mini kitchen and desk, etc. Not giving it full 5 stars is two fold. The mattress stunk...creaky and hard (if replaced room would be great) and we could hear everyone walking above us the whole time we were there. A room on the top floor, coupled with new mattress would have me stating that this was an excellent stay for the money. Last - be prepared that you're near NOTHING but its not a far drive to restaurants and shopping.

Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. No shower pressure. Kitchenette wasn’t well stocked. Breakfast was ok. Saturday & Sunday offers waffle makers. Build your own breakfast burrito. Sunday breakfast was busy & full. We had to bring our food back to room to sit & eat. People above us were loud and stomped all night.

Well I checked in yesterday and paid 50 dollars for incidentals and booked the room the next day and I have to pay 50 dollars for the same room I am in . How fair is that to charge my debit card for 100 for the same room . Asked the staff just to hold my card without charging anything .I stayed last week with the hotel and still have 100 dollars incidental that I payed that I payed for my stay and the money still didn’t come to my bank account yet . I stayed there two nights of the three when we woke up covered in bug bites. My children had dozens and my wife had over 40. The onsite team didnt do anything and just said, we dont have bug issues. We left and they were like "Have a good day"

We stayed at this property twice last year and were very pleased with it overall. This year,s stay was not as pleasant. The property and its clientele appear to be going downhill. The breakfast, which was excellent last year did not have as much variety, a lot of eggs basically! We will explore other options for future stays.

A three-day stay while we visited family was great. The lobby is very welcoming (the staff, too!) with a big fireplace. The breakfast buffet was super, with a lot of choices (refilled often) and plenty of tables to sit at. The room was comfortable for three adults, the kitchenette let us have a quiet meal in peace. We'll stay here again when we're in town. For a price that was hardly more than the "budget" choices, we got a deluxe stay.
