The hotel is currently undergoing renovations, so the overall condition of the property was not great due to that construction. However, our room was very nice and all the staff were fabulous! Stephanie, who prepared the free breakfast was incredibly kind. The front desk staff were super helpful and even gave us very nice chocolates for Valentine's Day when we checked out. We will stay here again if in the area.

Our room was clean and fairly quiet except for the heater. Check in area, hallway, and more, were under construction so the lobby looked terrible. Didn’t know we were walking into a construction site. Hotel needs to be brought into the 21st century. Was quite outdated.

No parking lot drainage lot water logged with rain shoes soaked Bathroom not cleaned well debri left on floor. Bathroom outlet not functioning and internet intermittent. Given handicap room because ‘ all rooms with queen beds are handicap’ did not indicate this when booked. Breakfast poor quality. Every other day room cleaning unless request daily. Poor quality for a Marriott.

We had blood stained sheets in our room which was absolutely disgusting. Barely any breakfast, everything was gone very early. The elevator seemed like it was going to fall apart. The toilet didn’t flush properly and ended up having to use the one in the lobby so we didn’t have to change rooms a second time.

Hotel itself was gorgeous. Staff was more than friendly and kind. It is in a noisy part of town even staying in one of the top floors. Guests staying on my floor were up screaming at each other until past 3 am. You can hear every surrounding toilet flushing as well. Rooms were nice and the bathrooms were clean.

The staff was excellent ! The building was older and needs updating, not in the cosmetic ways of paint and furniture. The air-conditioning/heater was loud, and the room was constantly moist. The lack of a fan in the bathroom, added to the humidity in the room. Our clothes had a damp feeling to them even after we had left.

Breakfast was advertised 6-10 am, advised upon check in that it is until 9. Went down at 8 and items were wiped out and not refilled, milk in frig empty, eggs out along with other items. Lady came out to only refill sausage, they were ice cold and unappetizing. If coming back to area would not stay again, not worth the price, would not recommend and I would try to find a better option.

The hotel is conveniently located right off the highway in a very quiet area on the outskirts of New Haven. There are no shops or restaurants in walking distance but many options ten minutes by car. Our room was clean, and the beds were very comfortable. Would definitely return.

We had a one night stay after a long day of travel. The staff was really nice, the room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. There was a nice selection for breakfast. I think maybe one of the food warmers was broken as some of the hot food was cold. It was cooked, just not warm. Overall it’s a nice and clean choice.
