Breakfast and the range of on site restaurants earn frequent praise, though some cite slow breakfast service, smoke in certain venues, and high prices. Rooms are generally comfortable, some newly renovated with pleasant views, but recurring notes mention small standard rooms, dated areas, noisy doors or AC, and occasional hot water or balcony limitations. Overall, it suits travelers seeking an easy, resort style base in Abu Dhabi.

Facilities
Extensive leisure setup with a private beach, pool, a well-equipped gym and spa, plus many on-site restaurants; a few note smoke in some venues, early beach closing, or outdoor areas that feel a bit dated.

My trip was awesome from the Zen Spa to the shisha lounge. Also eating on the waters at Finz restaurant and enjoying some me time on my balcony. I was also recommended by Charles of a restaurant across from the resort which was great too. I highly recommend this resort!

Beach is beautiful but open till only 7.30. swimming pool was fantastic but little bit away from the hotel but facilities are top classic. The choices of restaurants were too many and the Hotel attached to the Abu Dhabi Mall offer a million choices more. It is located in centre of the city and well connected. Only the electrical points inside the rooms are 😣 uncomfortable. Otherwise top class facility.

A solid 4 star equivalent in Abu Dhabi. There are levels above, but you wont be disappointeda and its good value. Beach and water are ok. Restaurant food is good. Prego need a chef who knows how to cook quality italian food but the rest are good. The German was a nice surprise. The staff were always very nice and attentive.

Great stay at the Beach Rotana at the start of a 2 week tour through the Middle East and Asia. Staff were extremely helpful - front desk checked me in after a 14 hour flight from Sydney even though it was 5/6 hours before stated check-in. Facilities were great, location very central and just great value. Will definitely return.

The hotel was great and the staff really made the stay even more positive. The hotel has lots of facilities, especially the Bodyline gym and tennis courts. The attached mall is also a big plus. Special thanks to Matthew on the front desk, Charles in guest services and Abiguel in the lounge fow always going above and beyond.

We checked in with Mr. Waseem, who is the manager and he’s extremely supportive cooperating and on top of things. we booked three rooms with Seaview, for our convenience. We were looking for two connected rooms with one adjust room so we give up away the seaview to city view, but we got the rooms we needed. After checking in room, we got one specious room which is really specious very with the twin room attached to it. rooms are well kept but cleaning and hygiene is another issue that the hotel management really need to work on. cleanliness in general was really poor, most areas in the room were dusty. specially the bathroom. another major issue with the bathroom is the availability of hot water which was barely warm, not hot, which is too annoying during taking your shower. Amenities in the bathroom and room was OK. There was supposedly balcony in the rooms but tooo small and no view and locked by the hotel, so cant be used. There is a humidity smell all over the hotel, including the Lobby and the whole hotel needs proper renovation. Pros: Location attached to abudhabi mall and downtown Staff: special thanks to Mr wasim Cons: Cleanliness Hotel building overall status

. although we booked the claimed the renovated rooms maybe this renovation took place-long time back. again hygiene and housekeeping is bad the rooms were dusty, furniture is old, bathroom needs renovation. Towels are too harsh and bad quality and they really need to consider the used detergent! Same of the linen. Staff need to be trained or maybe replaced. We were checked in by “ Safwan” as i recall not sure. He was nice quick and grant us connected rooms as per our request, unfortunately all the other staff are below standard, guest services hang out without listening, sometime no answer to the call. Room services were ordered and after waiting for 2 hours they claimed they didn’t receive the order!! The extra bed was a torture uncomfortable at all. Very bad service and hotel, i use to love it more than 15 years back, i gave it two chances this month and failed me in both.

At the first night we had a dinner and right after I felt very bad. I’ve got both, diarrheas and vomit. Spoke we the restoraunt crew day after. The apologies and promise to run investigation and get back to us. Moreover they offers some camomile tea and water. None of those happens. Very disappointing. In addition the smell in the room was very bad.

We stayed at this hotel ten years ago and it is still a fantastic hotel. The location next to the Abu Dhabi Mall is very convenient. It is also a very short taxi ride to The Galleria Mall. The hotel restaurants are very good and we enjoyed the Italian restaurant. The private beach within the hotel was quiet and had lots of sun loungers. Our room was good but slightly small for two people with large suitcases as well. The room was kept very clean and we were well taken care of by Gayan.

This was our 4th stay at this hotel and unfortunately it wasn't as good as we have had in the past. Room wasn't what was booked (KIng bed, sea view, balcony) - however we did get a move the following day. The actual room size itself was fine - no issues with that, but standard room balconies have no furniture - so there is no where to sit outside once you leave the pool area. We did try sitting in an area other than a bar. One evening and were asked by a waiter to move inside to the seating area there as this area was for guests having drinks. We had reserved dinner for our last evening and when we got there - no reservation. However it wasn't busy so we did get a table . We were also told our final bill at checkout would be emailed to us and we are still waiting for it!!

My wife and I visited from the United States. Overall, we really liked this property. The hotel itself is very elegant, has a lot of nice dining options, and is conveniently attached to a mall. Furthermore, the grounds on the outside are fantastic. The private beach and pool areas are very well laid out, and are nice spots to relax after exploring the city. The service staff are extremely polite and professional, and were very accommodating throughout the stay. The only minor complaints we had were that the shower had a glass half-wall entrance, so the water would go everywhere, and the hot water ran out quickly. Additionally, the air conditioning was a bit loud and ran constantly, so it was sometimes difficult to keep the room cool and quiet while trying to sleep. Otherwise, this was a great place to stay, with the private beach and pool area a really outstanding amenity.

This property is in a prime location with a private beach and attached to Abu Dhabi mall. The staff are all lovely and go out of their way to be accommodating. From housekeeping to general assistance they were brilliant during our stay. The room was spacious and had everything we needed and a lovely view of the sea. I highly recommend this lovely hotel if you ever visit this beautiful city.

I would not personally rate the facility as 5 starts hotel, 3.5 is fair. The room and furniture, mattress are all not suitable for what supposably a five star hotel. Room service is bad, requested an extra blanket and pillow , the blanket arrived after one hour. However, the pillow was never delivered (he said i will be right back but never returned). First hotel that i stayed on in my 14 year of travel that i call room services and had to wait for more than 3 minutes until somebody answer. In addition, maintenance work in next rooms which is noisy, be ready for your stay. The positive part is the location which is connected to the mall and the reception staff which are so kind. Other than those, i will definitely won’t rate the hotel more than 3.5 star.

We have stayed at Beach Rotana several times with no issues, however, during this stay the quality of the food service was very poor. At breakfast, tables were piled high with dirty plates and food with staff struggling to clear up and clean meaning guests were left standing or helping to clear. We went for an evening meal at the Italian restaurant, Prego, even though the restaurant was empty we were told that we could only sit at a smoking table after 10 minutes of waiting for any service we left and ate at another restaurant outside of the hotel. We did raise these issues with staff at the time and at checkout but not sure if we will stay there again!

. although we booked the claimed the renovated rooms maybe this renovation took place-long time back. again hygiene and housekeeping is bad the rooms were dusty, furniture is old, bathroom needs renovation.

Outstanding hotel, great facilities, superb staff and spotlessly clean everywhere. This was our first trip to Abu Dhabi and if we were to return we would love to come back to this hotel.

Hotel was great overall, plenty to do and enjoy. The service needs improvement at breakfast, very slow and not proactive. Other than that a great stay and recommend for families!

I enjoyed my stay @ Beach Rotana. It was really comfortable & relaxing. I was able to enjoy the outdoor view & dining. It’s quiet over looking the small bay but you also have the mall close by. At night when I missed the taxi I walked back from the bigger mall & it was safe. Enjoyed the many highlights of Abu Dhabi!! ✨

The check-in process was one of the quickest I’ve ever experienced. I like the greenery. It was like we were in our own oasis in the desert. I also like the easiest accessibility to countless restaurants and the connection to the Abu Dhabi mall. The staff was amazing providing additional water and allowing me to check out late. I would highly recommend this property.
