The beds were very comfortable. Staff was fine. Breakfast was also good. I was very disappointed though that the pool was closed. I understand that renovations were being done, but nothing was mentioned on the website. That was the main reason I booked with your hotel. I was still happy with everything else though.

Room was clean and comfortable. One of the elevators was out and there was a line of people waiting to go to their rooms. No staff mentioned there was another elevator down the hall that was working that some could have used. They also were remodeling but that did not affect us at all. Overall, it was a nice clean room and nice stay.

I requested a non-smoking room and the suite smelled like smoke. In fact, the whole entire hotel including our room smelled strongly of mildew as well as cigarette smoke. Noise from my wing was terrible. Someone always fighting or the side door to outside constantly being slammed. The customer service ladies at the front desk were rude and looked down at me when I requested extra toiletries. Light bulb out in bathroom and they wouldn’t replace it. The closet where mini frig was located was exactly that – a closet they tore the doors off to insert the frig. No light above so the area was dark. Holiday Inn Chantilly-Dulles Expo Center was falsely advertised...there was no free breakfast at this site. Also, the site is older so the shower was outdated. Definitely wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it to anyone.

The bad experience started with the wait for the shuttle at the airport. After we picked up our bags we called the hotel we were told it would be a 15-30 minute wait for the shuttle. The wait ended up being an hour, we saw the Marriott, crowne plaza and Hampton inn make three trips while we waited. The hotel room was larger but dated. We found a roach in the bathroom and the bathroom was missing soap and bags for laundry. Happy it was just a one night stay.

The room had a distinct old/moldy smell and the air vent could use a thorough cleaning. Wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling off from the bottom and the bathroom and the room need updating. It was a budget option but I have had a much better experience at Hampton Inn for less.

Excellent experience, everyone was super helpful and friendly, and it was a pleasure staying there. The bed and room were comfortable, and the TV was also handy at night. I was even given the grace of being allowed to check out a little later than my original check out time. The only thing that was not good for me was finding a roach in the restroom, and if not for that it would have been perfect.

They are in the process of remodeling. I had a remodeled room, which was very nice, but the door bolt didn’t work, which was a bit unsettling. Also, they have no “free” breakfast, which most other hotels in this category and price range now have. Otherwise, it was fine. On the plus side, the hotel is located within a veritable strip mall of restaurants which was nice and convenient.

We booked a suite and it was the largest one I’ve ever stayed in. The room was comfortable and the staff was very competent. The evening staff helped as asked but the morning staff was so personable. I will say that we did have a knock on the door by housekeeping at 8 am. That was not an issue for me, but may not be desirable for people who like to sleep in.

Under construction. Tarps cover most of entry way, which made it very dark and unwelcoming. Clerk did not speak to me about the hotel (was talking to someone else on phone). Coffee machine in Room did not work. Clwrk at the feont advised many.machines were not working. Stayed two days, on second day....no hot water. Room was clean. Just seemed like the front office ataff did not care.

Life required me to be on the area monthly. Tried a few places with a similar price within a couple miles. Liked here the most of the bunch. Stayed at least 6 times in 6 months. Lots of places to eat in the area. All your basic shopping necessities within a couple miles as well. Near the expo center and close enough to the airport. Staff has been super friendly and we’re now on a first name basis.

Affordable even with the breakfast option, which i would recommend. Hot, hot water for the vanity and shower. Every fast-food place that has an app is next door. Chick-Fil-A across the parking lot and the Dulles Expo Center and a Walmart behind. Super convenient, would stay again.

We were not made aware at any time since booking that the pool was not open. Also the dining was closed in the evenings during our entire stay. We booked this place specifically for those amenities. Very unhappy about not being told up front at least about the pool. We would have made another choice had we known. Rooms are in desperate need of updating. Especially the bathrooms. Poor condition at least in our space.

Apallingly loud. I was stuck in a room with a scenic view of the trash dumpsters. But the worst part was having all the industrial air conditioning units for the entire complex right outside my window. I had to listen to the roar of the fans on the compressors all night long. It was miserable. Not peaceful at all. I stayed at this hotel before, on a different side of the building, and it was fine. Not this time. Also, the pool closed at 8 pm, so I was not able to relax after a long day of driving. The lack of overhead lighting in the room itself makes it very dark and dismal. Good for TV viewing, bad for trying to get work done. Although it is apparent the rooms have been updated, there were a surprising number of defects on the walls and doors, like peeling paint and scuff marks. I stayed here before and had a wonderful experience. Also, the staff at the front desk were very pleasant. But the most important thing is a peaceful sleeping environment. am not going to take my chances in the future. I will never stay at this hotel again. In fact, I am unlikely to stay at an IHG/ Holiday Inn, if this is the way they treat their "guests. "
