Good clean property, despite the very old age. Staff was terrific! Special kudos to Courtney who was so helpful with our check in! Thank you Courtney. To be noted - the pool does not look like it does in the pictures. There are no lounge chairs; just cheap sitting chairs and only two tables with umbrellas. Good pool... just doesn't look anything like the pictures. Be prepared for very limited shade which is important when it is hot. I suggest the property bring back the lounge chairs and add umbrellas every few chairs like most resort pools do.

I do not like dishonesty in advertising, so I will start with a big negative. We were looking for some pool time, and we chose the Red Lion based on the pictures of the pool. Well, those rows and rows of lounge chairs in the pics-- well they are not there. Not a single lounge chair, just some $4 walmart plastic table chairs, not good for sunning. MAJOR disappointment. On the positive the Red Lion did offer us breakfast buffet included (apparently not everyone gets the breakfast). It included real eggs and bacon/sausage, better than the average hotel breakfast. The room was clean and comfortable. If you want it cleaned, you have to ask in the morning for clean service. The internet was great, as was the TV service. Location was central with several restaurant choices nearby, but there did seem to be a presence of homeless people in the rear parking lot. Overall the property is dated, and in need of repairs and upkeep, but comfortable. C'mon!! get some new lounge chairs!!!

Only complaint was the exercise room. Sign said opens at 7am but it did not open until 9 and I had to ask the front desk to open it. Everything else was great. Breakfast was really good! Room was clean.

The outdoor pool and hot tub was what made us choose this property and the pool was refreshing and clean. Unfortunately the area offers very sparse seating. No loungers , 2 small dining tables with less than 10 chairs in total . As well ,we loved the fact that each room has a private balcony...unfortunately no chairs are provided to sit on it. We used our own foldable camp chairs and tables. The property needs some outdoor maintenance/cleaning crew. We saw several broken sprinkler heads and a water geyser that wasted a lot of water and sprayed cars. We enjoyed our stay in spite of these issues and just hope that the owners spend a little money cleaning it and doing some fun and comfortable upgrades to the pool and common areas as well as the balconies. Breakfast good and plentiful but is over at 9am. Good internet Pet Friendly

Room was not ready until 5:40 pm. Then the room Was 80 degrees. Air conditioniner was broken. They knew this ahead of time. They moved us to a different room that was much cooler. Photos on Expedia website for this hotel are very old. There were zero lounge chairs at the pool which was one of the main reasons we choose this hotel , to lay in the sun. They told us they musta been stolen! Carpet in the hallways were stretched out very dirty. Lots of duct tape in the seems. The bed was so hard we ended up checking out a day early! The staff were very friendly and breakfast was ok.

The restaurant and bar were closed. I guess ever since Covid with no plans to open.. I wasn’t aware of this when I booked the trip. Major disappointment & letdown. TV didn’t work maintenance didn’t show up. I had to do the unsatisfied customer the following morning. They eventually showed up.

The hotel was old and outdated - which is okay, but it was not clean. The bathroom was very dusty and had hair in the bathtub. The tub was also clogged. There was also hair in the bathroom. It is right next to train tracks in case you can’t sleep with that - didn’t bother us though. Trains were coming by slowly and quietly.

Outdated. Duct tape on the carpet, floors in need of cleaning, bathroom outdated and needed detailed cleaning. Sheets were clean. Beds were horribly uncomfortable. Don’t sleep with a second person in the bed or it feels like a water bed every time one of you move. Room smelled dank and old like old smoke and armpits. Had to buy some febreeze to de-funk the room. AC worked great. Staff were pleasant. Property just run down and not very clean. Walkway leading to pool area was covered in giant bird poo piles and cobwebs. Feels tired. Cheap price though.

Front desk staff efficient and friendly but perhaps not dressed professionally. The hotel is maintained but tired looking, no updates in quite awhile and a fix for hallway carpets is duct tape, they have a pigeon problem on our balcony but no furniture so it was unusable. Breakfast was hearty and like Denny’s. It’s a solid, clean place to stay. It’s not a hotel with amenities. It was nice when it opened but it’s a bit of a time warp now.

First room had blood stains on sheets, lots of hair in shower & tub wouldn't drain. Second room had hair on bed & pillows on one bed & bug on pillow on second bed. 3rd room had hair on pillows & beds. They had mno adfl rooms for us to try & we were done by that point. Front desk didnt seemed surprised at the issues, gave us refund & helped us find new hotel. I truly believe they dont wash the sheets. You wouldnt have all that hair on the beds if you did plus they didn't smell laundered/fresh. None of the rooms had bedspreads, just white sheets on them which really made the darks hairs stand out. Rooms & hallway overall were very dated & not kept up. Missing trim, dirty walls, etc. Parking lot in back didn't feel very safe either.

Very dirty hotel. Hallways and stairs had food on them for days. The garbages outside were overflowing with waste. Our balcony had so much bird poop lining it that we didn't go outside. Very old. The a/c was a nightmare to figure out. Won't be staying here again.

You can't get rid of that railroad, I know, but man, that wasn't fun in the middle of the night. And the mattress on the left side of the bed is so broken down that it was hard not to roll off. But, on the other hand, the manager is the nicest human being I've encountered in a long time. I'd stay there again just to compliment her again.

Iron and ironing board non on site. Not all patio decks, couldn’t use the deck. There was a bug problem that kept coming in the room couldn’t open the door. I definitely am thinking twice about staying there again.

I would say everything was average. I did really appreciate them getting us into adjoining rooms that was great! Things to note: The cable or satellite is awful you can’t get any local channels for news at all. The breakfast is average of free breakfasts however they usually charge $7.99 unless specified it comes with room (as ours did) but would have been upset to pay for a breakfast that’s not as great as competitors FREE breakfasts. Our rooms were pretty n the 2nd floor and we travel with lots of luggage so need things accessible. They directed us to drive around back of hotel and enter that door and elevator is there. However we had to lug our luggage up 2-3 steps to get to elevator so that cracked us up!

Check in woman very nice and put me in a room close to outside exit because I had 2 small pups with me. Appreciated that. Room was larger than expected. Bed comfy. Bathroom good sized but the shower head did not provide good pressure. Check in staff was great. She was so friendly and fast. Check out was not so good. There were 2 women. 1 was friendly but busy with another customer. The other woman sat in a room just behind. Heavy set woman with frizzy long grayish hair. She greeted me by saying “what can I do for you honey?” Didn’t get up just sat there. Her tone was annoyance, like I was interrupting her. I questioned her back “honey?” She said “ I’m from Kansas City. We call everyone honey.” It was a ridiculous statement to a customer so I ignored it and told her i wanted to check out. She instructed me to leave my key in the basket which she pointed to from her chair. Still did not get up. I needed a receipt because it was a business expense but she said I needed to go through my third party booking for that. As I was leaving, she loudly said have a good day, followed by a pause and “honey.” It was purposeful and clearly intended to be smart assed and disrespectful. My impression of this woman was sloppy looking, very hefty, lazy, rude, and definitely not customer oriented. She really should not be working behind the front desk. But for the 2 other women whom I encountered who were just the opposite of this woman, I would have given 1 star.

Recently booked a stay at the Red Lion in Wenatchee. After checking into our room, we heard a dog barking nonstop. I gave it a few hours, hoping it would stop—it didn’t. Finally, I went to the front desk, along with another guest who had also had enough. The staff member said all he could do was call the room. He wouldn’t move me, wouldn’t do anything else—just offered to cancel my reservation, which almost felt like a threat—and he did it with a smirk. On top of that, the shower handle was broken, the exterior door was falling apart, and the carpet in the hall was so loose it was a trip hazard. This place has definitely seen better days. Find another hotel that actually cares about its guests

We were awaken at 1:30 am with someone trying to enter our room. I had to physically hold the door closed to keep them from entering. After the police were called and arrived, it was discovered the hotel had double booked our room. Adding insult to injury, the front desk employee had the audacity to comp us a bag of chips for their mistake.

Overall kind staff and a clean hotel, its just really old. The carpets need replacing - its time. However, for the price you can't beat it. I stay there about once month while visiting my son. Very convenient to the area.

It was located centrally and the access and parking was excellent. The outside of the property is very nicely maintained at the front. The room was large and well appointed. The breakfast was great and the service at breakfast was also great. The carpets and furniture are getting a little tired and the water fluctuated between heat and cold. Behind my room against my balcony (I was on the first floor) was some yellow caution tape tied between some trees and what looked like a big muddy hole. There was a strange smell in my bathroom on day two when I returned which I couldn’t locate, but it had gone again in the morning. I would go again as it is very good value for money, it needs a little renovation but that is all.

Stayed 3 nights. On Sunday morning the young man managing the breakfast buffet was awful. He couldn’t even keep bread stocked and wouldn’t remove his ear buds. The other two mornings there was a lovely older woman who knew how to keep things hot and fresh. Good breakfast if run by the right employee

The room was very large and although a little dated, it was clean. My only negative review was the breakfast. The scrambled eggs were cold and had a synthetic look to them. The sausages were half cooked. I had to throw out most of the breakfast.
