The Timberholm Inn was an exceptional place to stay. The room was clean and the bathroom clean. The Inn had a very large and roomy gathering area with sofas, chairs, and 2 large tables for Breakfast. Breakfast was excellent 👌 everything down to the pastries were homemade and delicious! We loved relaxing every evening in front of a blazing fire. We actually never watched TV, not even in our room. There was always hot water for tea available and cold drinking water as well. Breakfast dishes varied, but eggs and bacon were always available. Many restaurants nearby, and lots to do. We enjoyed a wonderful New England vacation and the other guests we met at the Inn made it extra special. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.

This was a great little place to stay! It was close to anything you wanted to see and do and the breakfast was delicious! The pumpkin scones were amazing!

We have stayed here many times, but this was our first time with the new owner/proprietor. Absolutely love the location and amenities, even if the rooms are a tad small. I do wish there was more interaction with the staff (we loved getting to know the previous owner that way, and it makes you feel so welcome), but I do think this is especially needed in the morning as housekeeping came to clean our room before we had checked out, which could have been entirely avoided if someone was there to see that we still had our key.

We didn’t know that this was a family owned establishment when we made the booking but on site it’s obvious. Both Hannah and one of her sons welcomed us warmly! The lodge itself is very genuine and cozy, the homemade breakfast was amazing. Our last morning we saw a black bear in the garden as a bonus! It’s a short drive in to town and all in all this was a great place to stay at!
