Pool was empty and light pillars knocked over. Had to park in the back away from my room and not a joining sidewalk to the back. Also had lots of random hair in the sink and in the hand towel.

Motel is rundown and in desperate need of painting. The pool has been empty with green water in it for 2 years. Employees are nice. The rooms are okay inside for what you pay.

There aren’t many hotel options in Stephenville, so busy weekends at Tarleton reduce already limited choices for visitors. The Motel 6 was a bit rundown. The pool is permanently closed. Since it is a Motel 6, there are no amenities. Just soap and very small thin towels. The room was clean and the bed was acceptable in comfort. The AC was cold, which was good. The bathroom outlet didn’t work and the light over the sink went out our last morning there. All of this for the low price of $157 a night. But again, this was the best price we could get for Family weekend if we wanted to stay in Stephenville.

It was dirty and roches were every where . Woke up in the middle of the night with them on us . They changed our room and it was still a issue . There were stsins on the blankets and old trash between the mattress and head bord.

The first room had roaches all over the bathroom and vanity area. There roaches coming out from behind the TV . The front desk person apologetic but knew exactly what the issue was in that room. He admitted it has been an ongoing issue. We switched rooms on the other side of the property and there were a few roaches in that room as well. I will not recommend this Motel 6 in Stephensville TX to anyone.

Photos are stock photos. Hair in the shower, drain cover not attached, vanity looks like it’s falling off the wall, sticky substance on floor, cockroach in bathroom area, microwave smelled awful and had to slam door for it to work. Would not recommend.

The room was dirty, the hotel has no pool just a dirt filled pool with construction debris everywhere. Sheets stained, bathroom horrible. Hair on bed. (Should of just stayed in my truck) booked because of graduation, should never of made reservations...

The room was visibly dirty, hair on the bathroom counter and sheets, sheets were stained, floor hadn't been cleaned in ages, sheet were stained, no guest wi-fi, coke machine, snack machine and ice machine were not working, a big hole in the ceiling above the shower. Grossest hotel by far that we've ever stayed in. It was awful and didn't come close to what we expect from a Motel 6. Truly disgusting. They should have paid me to stay there.

Renovation work was done pretty cheap. Sloppy craftsmanship. A/C's really didn't work to well, cooler outside then in. A/C was the loudest thing on the property. Guest were on the cheaper end. Town is horrible for hotel accommondations. Needs bug spraying, killed centipided in bath tub. T/V was half broke, with blue/green lines going down it.

Clean room, comfortable bed. Hot water & decent shower. Lots of trash around the property, run down facilities, rooms really need to be renovated (at least my room did). Had a weird large gap around the door & it was very humid, even with the air conditioning running high. OK for a night. Polite, efficient staff.

It's a good place to stay for the price. The mattress was hard, their wasn't a microwave or mini fridge in our room. The counter was long so you could put your stuff out. I didn't take any pictures but overall the place was clean.

I knew it was an older motel building, and did not expect perfection. The vinyl floor is a good idea but needed cleaning. I cleaned it the best I could with some paper towels I had in our truck. The worst part was the noise from the room above us, since we were on the bottom floor. It wasn’t normal noise, it was like someone was moving furniture or a wheeled something just back and forth. It started at 11:00pm. There was a break from 2:30 to 4:30am and then started again.

This is an older facility. The room has some updates, but there were soft spots in the floor. The walls were thin. The lighting was dim. There were only 2 small bath towels which were thin. There were no tissues and no toiletries offered. The staff were very friendly. This is a very basic hotel, but after hearing a serious domestic situation next door (that shook the walls and vibrated the floor), I personally will not be staying there again.

The surrounding area such as the parking lot is a disaster with block wall falling down and just an unkempt area. The pool area, with someone living on site, was not taken care of with toys and trash outside the room. It's a short stay hotel, not an apartment! While staying, someone attempted to enter our room @ 5:05am using a key that was given to them by the front desk. Shouldn't they have to present an ID to get a key? Obviously not!! It was found that they 'guest' had a room, #219, and had gone to the desk to get a key. Obviously given our room key, #119, whereby he attempted to enter. Not requiring ID to obtain a key is a gross negligence putting everyone at risk!

We were in town for a softball tournament and the first part was rained out. So I called the hotel and asked if we could check in early & they had no problem doing that at all. It allowed my daughter to rest a little before she had to play the next round of games. The room was clean & the ac unit works VERY well. We told the manager our tv remote didn’t work as we were headed out to a game & when we got back later that evening the remote issue was taken care of. It’s not a fancy hotel at all but they are friendly, it is clean, and comfy enough to get some rest.

We were there for a college tour so we just needed a quick sleep and a shower. Hotel was better than I was expecting after reading the reviews. It is certainly an older, cheap hotel but we would stay again. It was fairly clean and the front desk gentleman was very friendly at check in.

Our stay at Motel 6 Stephenville did not go smoothly. After checking in we could not get the room key to open the door. The front desk reprogrammed the key and then it was fine. We found out the ice maker was broken so we had to leave to buy ice. Then the door would not stay closed. We went to the office and they returned with us to close the door. They couldn’t close it either. I asked for a different room but was told they would have to check with the manager. Eventually we did get another room that was satisfactory, except for the roaches. I returned to the front desk to ask for a receipt for our stay and was told they could not give me one because I booked through Expedia. And that I would have to print it myself. However, I did not book through Expedia. so no receipt. The woman at the front desk was trying to be helpful but the circumstances were not optimal.

We got in early to Stephenville and the person at front desk wouldn’t let us check in early even though she had a room available so we had to go sleep in a parking lot til 2:00pm then check in. When we finally checked in the room was ok but the door was hanging low off one hinge and there was dirty walls and the shower was filthy there was a hole in the wall and flys everywhere! The pool was not working and there was no mention of it on the website

You get what you pay for and for $81, this was a good property. We felt safe. We liked that the flooring was laminate, wood-look flooring instead of carpet. The beds were clean and comfy. The tub/shower was old, but water was hot and got the job done.

Overall, it was great for the price I paid. The only complaint was that the room was very hot when I arrived because the AC was off and it was 95 degrees outside. Otherwise, I enjoyed the stay and it was conveniently located.

For a one night stay while traveling pretty decent. Though we'd recommend staying in the 2nd floor. Loud party outside our room till 4am. We'll sleep tomorrow night at home thankfully. But shower was great and the customer service was very kind and accommodating.

It was a bed in room with a tv and shower. This particular venue is in dire need of a remodel. The floors walls and ceiling had visible poorly down patch work or was still need of repair. The decor is very dated and old. The shower did have hot water and although old it was clean. The bed mattress was old and lumpy with and air top mattress topper so woke up with some back pain after sleeping about 6hrs it was all I could handle and we checked. No breakfast just comp coffee in the morning so we skipped that too. Suppose I’ll spend at little more to stay somewhere more modern when near here again.

Lights out in fixtures, microwave did not work, no safety bars in tub/shower, no non slip mat in tub/shower, no one at check out to tell just drop a key at 9:30am. Very friendly staff at check in. No coffee service (small cup machine not available) in room lobby coffee old.
