This was certainly a reminder of “ you get what you pay for”. It’s budget-friendly but the bedsheets were terribly stained, our hairdryer was literally taped together with blue painters tape and the provided toiletries unacceptable quality. On a positive note, the shower pressure and hot water was great. Live and learn!

Smelled awful, room filthy, I asked for an extra blanket the young lady brought me a dirty, smelly blanket that looked and smelled like it came from dirty linen. I checked out the same night. The online picture off the the room deceiving,

This is an older hotel that has not been updated but they do keep it clean. *There is no breakfast currently or for the foreseeable future.* This was a major disappointment for my trip as well as an unexpected expense. The parking lot is mostly gated, so it offers a little bit of a sense of Security, but given the area and being right off the freeway, it’s definitely a stay aware of your surroundings and don’t leave anything in your car kind of place. The air-conditioning unit is so loud you can barely have a conversation. The same can be said of the shower with its whistling and rattling, but incredibly low water pressure. My provided hairdryer had no heat in it and so when I turned it into the downstairs staff, I was given a replacement quickly and politely. Other than that, everything in the room worked and were clean and nothing was broken. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. This is not a luxury stay. So for a place to sleep and shower it’s fine. There is nothing spectacular or awful about it. Essentially it’s pretty forgettable.

The first room we were given had a large, hard stain on the comforter. Don’t want to think about that for too long. The phone and tv didn’t work, and the ironing board was missing. We went downstairs to get things fixed and we had to yell out for the attendant to come to the front from the back. She came out actively playing something on her phone. After we listed the issues with the room she transferred us to a new room. Everything was working in that room. No complaints there. The hotel has clearly been renovated recently, but poorly done. Caulking around the sinks and showers was smeared. Visible holes remained in the wall where lights fixtures had been replaced. Patches on the wall had been painted over but were clearly visible. The photos online were much better than in person. I would not stay here again. Additionally, signs inside say there is no breakfast until further notice. That wasn’t reflected in the booking. Overall poor experience.

This hotel was listed as dog and cat friendly. I was traveling with my dog for his chemotherapy treatments. We arrived at the property late, around 10:30pm, only to be told they “recently” changed policy and no longer allow pets. The front desk offered me no explanation and sent us away with an “oops, sorry.” I called hotels.com support and they informed me that the La Quinta’s information on their app was incorrect, but they couldn’t give me a refund without escalating it to a supervisor. I am extremely disappointed in the reaction from both the La Quinta staff and hotels.com. It was very much a “not my problem” attitude from the front desk and, though the phone support for hotels.com tried to be sympathetic, I’m left waiting to see if I’ll even get refunded for a room I was never allowed to enter. I obviously would never have even booked this room if I had known they weren’t pet friendly. I’ve stayed at several La Quintas in the past with no issues but I will never stay at one again, and if I can’t trust that the information hotels.com has for a property is correct, I won’t be booking through their site or app ever again either. It was extremely stressful to have to find other accommodations so last minute. I’m lucky that I was able to pay for another hotel but I am still so disappointed in this property.
