What guests think

Across recent reviews, Days Inn by Wyndham Sioux Falls is described as an older, budget property with friendly staff and convenient interstate access, offering basic rooms at fair prices but with mixed cleanliness, maintenance issues, and variable noise.

Rooms are small and dated, with loud or ineffective A/C reported in multiple stays; beds are often comfortable but some fixtures and bathrooms need repair. Breakfast is simple and often limited, frequently centered on biscuits and gravy, with quality ranging from good to cold or understocked. The location is handy for shopping and dining, though ongoing road construction and occasional parking-lot activity make some travelers uneasy at night. Overall, expect a no-frills, value stopover.

Older motel but it appears they work hard to keep it up, staff very pleasant, location is great, friendly to pets, rooms a little small compared to newer motels but still has the amenities. I recommend it.

Outside walkways haven’t been power washed in years and they look like it. No elevator and room was on 2nd floor. No disclosure! Room was fine and clean. Good value overall.

Everything was nice and seemed quite clean. Was quiet. We came into contact with 4 staff members and every single one of them were amazing. The only negative is something the hotel has no control over is that there were two r Trucks with trailers that took about 8-9 parking spaces. We came back late night from a concert and had nowhere on property to park. We had to park in a lot down the street and walk back. Would stay here again! Thanks again to the great staff!!!!

Comforting that the hall door are always locked so no one can get access to the halls to the rooms unless they have a valid key card. Staff was very friendly and welcoming to me and my service dog. Will stay again.

Parking was easy. They put all people with pets in the back and unfortunately on a Friday night. A lot of other activity occurs in the back parking lot. It was quite noisy for my stay. The saving grace was the night watch front desk person who quickly addressed my concerns and had the non- guests leave. Although this was a value motel, it was rough around the edges. Desk drawers/dresser drawers were both broken. Bathroom door had a lot of chips and wear. This location is in need of some updates/repairs.

I wouldn’t recommend this place. Our room smelled terrible - very musty and mildewy. The bathroom door was damaged with the wood peeling off and chipped. We found hair (not our own) on our bed and bathroom towels. On a Saturday morning, there wasn’t breakfast at 9:45. Overall, it’s very run down. Won’t be staying there again.

Well first we check in went smooth. We got dressed went to show and returned about 140 am so tired we just layed down and I could smell mildew and a strong Oder finally went to bed got up and phone dropped behind bed had to pull out. Only to find piles of mold and black mold. On the bathroom door also mold spores growing. Went to front desk to check out and advise of what found said sorry will notify housekeeping No compensation for any of the room fee for disgusting conditions. Absolutely gross never ever again. Will not stay

Room was comfortable and clean enough. No bed bugs. Cleaning smell but not too bad. The noise was terrible at night because of Sturgis going on and very thin walls. Even with the thin walls the air conditioner kept up and created a background noise to the noise going on outside. Felt safe all night.

The real problem with our room was that it was small. There was very little shelf space in the room or the bathroom. There was no hanging space, no hooks except in the bathroom, no closet, no hanger rack. I hung my cap on the ironing board but left the clothes in the suitcase. We've usually had more space and a type more practical layout in a river boat cabin.

Very quiet. Could not hear other quests when in our room. Was the remnants of a dead bug on the wall near the tv. Temps were in the high 80s to low 90s outside and could not get AC to switch on. It was set to Fan. So was a bit too humid in the room. I know it was mid Sept., but it can still get hot outside. Some of the drywall in the bathroom could use some touching up.

The computers didn’t work on check-in, the door keys didn’t work when we returned later. We had to walk the very warm halls and go down stairs 4 different times before the desk clerk came up to check the door. A service call was placed with no estimated arrival time so we had to move everything to a different room after settling in for the night. We were asked to come down to the lobby to get the new room keys. The gentleman working the desk was very apologetic for that clerk and helped us get into our new room. Probably wouldn’t stay here again.

Trip to SF for sister birthday celebration. Stayed at Days Inn where I have stayed many times. Close to shopping on 41st St. in SF. Traffic in the area is heavy and the new diverging diamond interchange on 41st and I-29 is TERRIBLE. Of course, the hotel has no ability to change that. Free breakfast each day was good. It was a pleasant relaxing stay in SF.

This hotel is a bit dated, and the bed wasn’t the best, but it’s a good hotel at a decent price, especially for the area. The staff was friendly and helpful - we felt very welcomed. The breakfast was underwhelming, but the coffee was really good. The site overall is fairly clean - I wasn’t worried about walking barefoot in the room. There isn’t an elevator, so that is a bit inconvenient. Good location to the mall and several other amenities, and easy access from the interstate. And being a smaller hotel, it was fairly quiet despite the nearby street. We will stay again.

The room was clean and tidy. Parking is plentiful and convenient. The location is convenient from the Interstate. The highway noise isn’t too bad although there was the occasional very loud pickup or car roaring by on the street. The room has one of those wall-hanging heating/cooling units that roars every few minutes; you have to crank the TV volume way up if you want to hear anything and it doesn’t make it easy to drop off to sleep. Breakfast sausage and biscuits was cold and the biscuits hard like days old. The room rate was about in line for what one gets in today’s world.
