Last minute hunt to find a tool that wouldn’t kill my bank account led me here. Check in was easy. The lobby just had a fire place looking area with 2 tall back chairs - no tv or entrainment of any sort for order waiting guests. We walked in the back entry and I immediately noticed how dirty the stairs looked. Walked in our room and it was a sauna (93 degrees outside temp) and air was not on in the room. Thankfully it quickly cooled down. Hard wood floors through the entire room was different but not bad. Went for a dip in the pool… no clean pool towels. Standing water all around the pool area. The top part of the inside of the pool is so dirty someone else at some time etched in the words “clean this pool”. Breakfast was good. The juice machine was broken with no sign on it. Just a pitcher of orange juice sitting on the counter for anyone who didn’t want coffee or milk. Room for improvement in the cleaning department for sure otherwise, thankful to have somewhere to rest our heads for a night.

Hotel is nice and it's clean. The only think that I'm not happy about is the parking lot. They got snow here earlier in the week and the lot has not been cleaned. We had to park in a snow drift.

We chose last minute to stay overnight in Sioux falls. On memorial weekend d wasn't sure we would find anything g reasonable spontaneously. Liked the pool hours. Adults only time was 11pm to midnight. They offered wash/dry machines which was nice. Liked the touch on mirror. The only item was it was warm in the room so we opened the window a little so cooler air could come in while we slept. The bed was VERY comfortable !

2 different stays this week due to weather 1st the gal who checked me in was absolutely amazing. My room was great, but bathroom had hair on the floor. It happens fridge looked like it could use a good scrubbing. 2nd stay the dude that checked me in was poor service. This time the bathroom wall had foundation makeup splattered all over the wall. The sides of the toilet were filthy and tons of hair, under vanity, beside toilet, behind the door. I was to exhausted to complain or request different room. ( health issues) 2nd time towels werent even fully stocked. The beds were comfy, and everything else in the room and lobby looked great. Parking there sucks though!

The floors were not swept, fake eyelashes on the floors, possibly human sperm fluids running down the side of the couch. Beds and bedding were stained. I wanted to move rooms but my nephew was too tired and went to bed right after check in, so we stayed in this very dirty suite. We were also supposed to have a "City View" as advertised but room 114 was a view of the parking lot and Quality Inn next door. Very disappointing after paying extra for the King Suite. I think a regular room at the Quality Inn next door probably would've been a far better experience than our "King Suite" at the Comfort Inn. I would love to add photos but the link doesn't work, unfortunately.

Bedding wasn’t changed in our room. There was alot of someone’s hair in the sheets when we got to our room. We requested and received new sheets and the attendant apologized. We did not use the pool, it clearly had algae on the bottom and sides. Our room also smelled damp. It felt gross staying there. Was happy to leave.

This hotel is awful. Front desk person was intoxicated when checking us in. Room was filthy. There was hair and stains on the sheets. I don’t think they even cleaned the room, just made the bed after the last person. Toilet had not been flushed/cleaned/was left with someone else's pee in it. Furniture was all scuffed up and couch had crumbs and multiple stains on it. We didn’t even stay the night. Requested refund and left as soon as we saw the state of the room. Still waiting on Expedia for the refund.

They wouldn’t let me check-in without making a paper copy of my drivers license. In today’s ID theft world, this is such a poor practice. Hotels check ID to verify it is the actual person checking in… not to make a copy of the license. Nor would they confirm how they shred it later.

It was an ok stay. You can see an aging building that has had many repairs over the years. The room fridge kind of worked but wobbled and the trim was falling off the TV stand. The property was very clean otherwise. Breakfast could use some work. Sour waffle batter, overcooked sausage patties. Eggs and biscuits/gravy were ok. We would look for another option when we stay in Sioux Falls again.
