Picture of the outside a little deceiving. NO planters or trees on either side of the entrance. Hotel was clean, staff very friendly and the breakfasts were delicious. Loved being able to have a nightcap at the Comfort Inn bar at the end of a busy day.

The check in went fast and staff was very welcoming. The room was very clean and recently renovated. We ate dinner in the hotel restaurant and the food was great. The restaurant staff was so fun to talk with.We would definitely stay again if in the area.

Rooms are clean and comfortable. On site restaurant is convenient and the food was delicious. Some renovations going on but it didn't impact our stay. We have booked here 3 times, and we love the hotel. Will be back again!

Great hotel with a nice bar and restaurant. The downside is that they are remodeling and had not got to my room however it was clean and comfortable as is. The bar and restaurant open at 4:00pm and closes at 9:30pm and have everything a sports bar should have, it was a great stay

This was an affordable option when I needed a few nights. The staff was super friendly and helpful. However, the whole property is in need of A LOT of updating and maintenance. The bathroom had peeling areas around the tub from constant water drainage which would not improve even with adjusting the shower head a lot. Water leaked out of the tub and pooled in the corner where mold was starting to become evident. The whole room had a vey musty smell (?humidity?). The furniture was dated and electrical outlets for my computer on the desk were non existent. Also, Nobody came to clean our room in 3 dats. While not doing towels to save water is acceptable, however, the beds were not made, trash was not emptied, nor was the floor of the bathroom cleaned. The main common areas of the hotel were however quite clean. Overall, not a great stay. Which is sad considering how nice the staff all were.

We had room 115. It was noticeably damp and clammy when we walked in. I asked for a dehumidifier, even. They did not have one but said to try the fan without A/C. We tried heat, A/C and fan. This wing was newly renovated they said. In the morning our passport covers had curled with the moisture. There was mold (or dirt?) in the grout in the bathroom. Towels didn’t dry at all overnight. This room is not fit for occupancy. They said “sorry guys” in the morning. The hotel was very full and so they appeared to have limited options to move us. We should have left but had been on the road 14 hours and just wanted to rest. Not coming back.

I laid down to bed and was adjusting the pillows when I discovered that one of the pillowcases was covered in blood. That’s correct blood. Not nail polish, not candy, but blood. Threw it on the floor next to the TV which did not work correctly. Apparently the batteries in the remote were dead It was late, I was tired, I checked all the pillows and all the sheets. Everything else appeared OK. The following morning, I told the desk clerk about the bloody pillow and he just said nonchalantly OK thanks. I can tell you, I will never stay in this hotel again, and I’m very very disappointed in the quality of the day.

It was fine, the room was very run down and not clean. Clumps of hair on the floor, some weird lump that kind of looks like poop. The staff, bed, and shower pressure/heat are the best here. I also wished the room window opened, it was so stuffy. They desperately need a makeover because holes in the wall, ceiling has holes, and the carpet and walls are severely run down.

Our visit to the hotel was quite disappointing. The check in process was very quick and easy but the overall stay went downhill from that point. The noise level of the next room was high with loud music next door till well after midnight. In the light of day waking up, it was easy to see the room needed a deep clean up especially the red/pink splattered walls. It was hard to guess what exactly happened there but whatever it is still remains soaked through the walls. We considered asking for a discount as it definitely wasn’t worth the stay but we were happy to leave the room. The stay includes a morning continental breakfast which had rubbery eggs and ham and some pick up items. The coffee and yogurt were fine and the property view outside the back was nicely maintained. We just wished we had chosen another place , just a bad choice on our part.

Really friendly front desk staff. Room was clean and well-maintained. Little-to-no noise barrier from the hallway, but folks were mostly quiet. Cute restaurant on-site and the complementary breakfast was fine. Waffles, cereal, biscuits and eggs. Teeny tiny coffee cups.

The ceiling in our room was dirty. The A/C unit did not work so there was a portable A/C unit that was extremely noisy. There was stains on our blankets. But the staff was very pleasant. We were only there for one night and left early in the morning.

Room was just okay. Wasnt renovated like the other floors. Beds were very hard & uncomfortable. Very small for a family of 4. A/C worked okay. TV was weird. Started the channels with 72 i believe. No safe or Ice machine working on any of the floors which was a big downfall. I may give them 1 more chance as long as everything works & beds are upgraded.

Property is clean and staff great but property is outdated however they are under renovation. Nice location with restaurants in walking distance. It is pet friendly and there was a dog barking across the hallway and the walls are definitely not very soundproof. Heater/AC is old and very noisy as well.

We liked our room a lot. It was nice and spacious; we especially enjoyed having a sofa in the room, and the room was big enough that having the sofa didn't make it feel cramped. If we were to stay longer than a night or two, it would be useful to have a dresser available. We had an issue with the refrigerator not being cool, and maintenance was there within 10 minutes to fix it. The bed was a bit firm for my taste, but my husband thought it was great.

The staff were really nice. The room was a little dark and the window was pretty small, so it felt a little claustrophobic. The room was clean. The beds were extremely hard, so it made it a ruff night's sleep. It was quiet though which was really nice. It was good for the price.

Staff was very helpful - I needed a late checkout because of a race I'd completed and they were super kind. Hotel doesn't have a ton of frills but room was clean and recently renovated, there was always fresh coffee in the lobby, and the price was right. Chain restaurants nearby, including walkable.

BEWARE OF WEDDING PARTIES!!! I was so excited to have a relaxing fall retreat weekend, but could not sleep all night due to the loud and rowdy wedding party that partied in the hallways until 4am. After being woken up by the wedding party, I called the front desk at 11:30pm and 2pm, and the noise did not stop. I was not able to go to sleep until 4am when the noise finally quieted down. Not at all relaxing and honestly a stressful sleeping experience, thankful to the morning front desk lady who gave me a $30 discount, but very disappointed the noise was not handled by the front desk as it was happening.

The hotel was undergoing renovations which had the 2nd floor hallway from the elevator to my room closed until 5pm. Had to use the back staircase to access my room. IF I had been disabled access to the room would have been impossible until after 5pm. There was NO notice that this was going on prior to arriving to check-in other than a notice about possible noise, and was even sent up the elevator after check-in and had to comeback down to be directed down to the very end of another hallway to use the stairs. Very poor communication. The room itself was nice and comfortable. Need to do better with guest communication prior to arriving to check-in and being surprised on arrival.

We liked that the Comfort Inn is up the street from Penn State Hazleton. We attended a sporting event and didn't want to drive back home the same night so we booked this hotel in advance. We have stayed at many Comfort Inns and we trusted that this would be a good stay too. The price is fair. Our room was ready when we arrived an hour early. The staff is friendly and made us feel welcome. The bed was comfortable. The sheets has too much bleach left in them but they were clean! The storm did not knock out the electricity! The shower was hot and the water pressure was good. The other guests replied when we said good morning during breakfast. I didn't see any children. The 2 waffle irons worked well. I like fresh waffles! The coffee was mild and good, not too strong. Eggs and sausage and other continental items were also offered, The food was plentiful. The 2nd floor ice machine is broken, it gave us 2 ice cubes. We would stay again!

Welcoming staff, clean rooms. Nice to have restaurant/bar in hotel, but by dinner at 6:30 most items on menu were gone. Burger seriously undercooked. Food not great. Down to one cook and one server/bartender/busser who was very professional but obviously overworked. Breakfast was standard fare, nothing remarkable. Hotel itself was clean but in need of updating, which was underway. All in all, pretty good experience, but would recommend eating dinner somewhere else.

We had an amazing 1night stay in West Hazelton, Pa. This Comfort Inn has one of the best complimentary breakfasts & has its own in house restaurant & bar. They give out all kinds of comp snacks & bottles of water. When traveling through Pennsylvania we always make a habit to stop at this hotel. I recommend it to all travelers & honestly give this one a 5 Star rating!👍
