Hilton Garden Inn Allentown Bethlehem Airport

The front desk clerk was friendly and helpful, offering suggestions for restaurants and answering my questions about the shuttle. The room was very clean and comfortable. The pool was nice and I only gave four stars for cleanliness because some corners of the pool room looked like there was some dirt and maybe some dead bugs. The pool and hitting were totally fine though. The 24 hour shuttle to the airport was a lifesaver. I would definitely stay there again when flying out of ABE or doing business nearby. Very centrally located.

I'm a hilton member and this fitness center needs an overhaul. both treadmills were down and the fitness center wasn't kept up. My stay was for two nights and unfortunately, I got called to another state, forfeiting the room at full price. there should have been a discount.

It was a little frustrating that the property is under renovation. It would have been nice to have known before hand. The gym was not open and the lobby was in disarray, but tidy. The room was clean and smelled nice. The halls were were clean. I would stay here again

Pool was closed. Told we could go to sister hotel and that was closed also. Booked for pool 😢

I was expecting to leave my car here during my trip but is $20 a day. Is cheaper to leave it at the long stay lot at the airport.

I selected this hotel primarily because it features an indoor pool, an essential facility for entertaining my young children. Unfortunately, the hotel is currently undergoing renovations, resulting in the pool and hot tub being unavailable. Despite my rate including breakfast, the waitress attempted to charge me for it unnecessarily.

Free service.Very comfortable rooms and beds. Nice little bar downstairs and up restaurant. Staff is very friendly check-in was quick and easy. Overall an a plus experience

The room was clean and beds comfortable however the tv remotes in our room didn’t work and after notifying the front desk, 30 minutes went by without anyone coming to fix the issue. No one ever showed up to fix it after a second complaint. The pool was closed for renovation. That was not posted anywhere at time of booking and I wouldn’t have booked there if I’d known as my kids enjoy swimming when we go away. I mentioned that to guest services and was told “oh well we have a sign posted on the door. Sorry”. In the future I’ll stick to the Marriott. I always have a great experience with them.

Hot tub jets do not work properly

Great trip overall! Room was clean and well kept and the staff was very friendly and helpful! Breakfast was excellent as well! Attempted to use the pool but it was very chilly I guess we expected it to be heated. We thought we would make up for it by using the hot tub however the controls for the jets didn’t seem to work and the water was extremely cloudy! This piece aside the stay was still great!

Very clean rooms. Lots of parking available too!

Carpet was sopping wet near the window for 5 feet into the room. Blood on the sheets. Bathroom dirty. Room smelled like mold and garbage covered up by carpet fresh. Kids running up and down the halls at midnight.

Very outdated hotel. You can see it on the walls and ceiling and bathroom. We had to change rooms because the room given to us had dirty towels on floor and trash and a recently used shower. That set the scene for us to question its entire cleanliness. No bells or whistles, old TVs, appreciated the mini fridge and microwave though. Quiet for the most part, staff was friendly but another down side was parking was terrible. When trying to park on the side the entrances on side required a room key and never worked. Probably not jumping at the chance to stay here again but not the worst we’ve had.

Our hotel room and several other hotel rooms had bed bugs. The hotel receptionist told me that although I had made my reservation on the expedia website, I would have to go via them to get my refund for lodging. Expedia got in touch with the hotel when I contacted them, and the hotel turned down my request for a refund.I've reached out to Hilton once more and am awaiting a response.

Everyone was very friendly. Hotel was very clean and quiet.

My colleague found roaches in her room and even had photos. The staff was completely unhelpful. My toilet seat was also broken. Wouldn’t recommend unless you’re desperate.

The front desk associate was unprofessional. Failed to activate door key for a couple guests while I was waiting. My room had bed bugs. I took a video and shared it with the maintenance and text to the Manager who refused to speak with me. There was no Manager onsite. We had to make reservations for another hotel and paid the higher rates covering the 3 weekend days. Overall awful experience. I will never return.

I love everything about this hotel, but what I like most is how comfortable the beds are.

Close enough to ABE, worked for the rest stop needed. If you’re a light sleeper, this may not be the spot for you. Can hear traffic and the patron in the room next door was watching TV past midnight and I could hear it through the walls. Room was dated, could use some updates throughout.

Trucking company behind the hotel kept noisy motors running for hours very early in the morning.

The property and staff get five stars. Unfortunately there is a trucking company 10 ft away from the property. They made a lot of noise. Dropping and hooking trailers, and forklifts hitting the dock plate. That is my only concern with the property.

Nice room with sofa and storage shelves

The room was clean and comfortable. Trying to regulate the temperature of the refrigerator was quite challenging. I lost a fair amount of food because it froze. Even food that was in the door froze. Next time I'll bring a cooler and keep it filled with ice. Also, the pool and hot tub are in desperate need of attention! There is a lot of chips along the edges and peeling paint. The timer on the hot tub wasn't working and only one of the jets had any significant force.

Room smelled strongly of smoke. The street outside was very noisy making it difficult to sleep. However, very close and convenient to the airport

Clean & spacious room, comfortable beds and clean bathroom. Only bad thing was the window curtains are directly over the AC unit and caused them to blow around which put light from the parking lot into the room.

Just average. There was a weird strong smell in the room and bathroom. Maybe trying to cover up an old smoke smell? The property was definitely showing some wear and tear on the inside, although the lobby and outside was nice. No problem bringing my small dog in to stay. Check in/out was quick and easy.

Room seemed stagnant and made for uncomfortable sleeping despite lowering temperature. No air movement for long periods of tine

This is one of the best properties I have stayed at in a few years. The manager the front desk staff and the lady that runs the food area is outstanding. Letters with their names will be emailed to the General manager. They were OUTSTANDING!

Avoid this hotel if you value your privacy and belongings. Housekeeping entered my room without my consent, and during my stay, my $400 watch and earrings went missing. This was a deeply unsettling experience.

Rooms were clean, well appointed and very comfortable. Hotel staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. When we checked in we requested a roll away. By the time we checked in, unloaded our luggage and went to our room, the bed was there!

Had a bit of an issue here. We checked in around 7:30 and we were given a king sized bed when it should have been two doubles. Not a big deal and we were too tired to ask about changing it as we just wanted to eat something and turn in for the night. The next day I left the room key in the room and had to go to the front desk when we returned to get another card. A different lady was there and said here's another key for your room on the 2nd floor except we were on the 3rd floor. She said no that's impossible you are on the 2nd. We went up to meet someone to let us back in our room. I explained the situation when he got there and he said we could stay in the same room as we didn't want to repack and move to another room. Well the lady from the front desk called and said you have to move? Fine so we did but unfortunately my wife left her prescription in the room. After she realized it we called and they said housekeeping should have it and that we could check first thing in the morning. Well they didn't have it and my wife had to shell out another $200 for more medication. Mistakes happen I get it but they weren't exactly apologetic about it. Maybe offering up a breakfast credit or something would have been suitable but nothing was offered. Also some guy not in any kind of uniform or anything was always hanging around the front desk droppng F bombs. No idea who this guy was but he appeared to work there. The pool was also closed which was a real bummer.

Had a wonderful stay except for an issue with a noisy air conditioner half way through the night. Front desk were very concerned and reported it to maintenance immidiately and then offered a free breakfast to our whole group. This was a perfect response to our issue. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Staying one night to fly out in the early morning. The Inn is in a great location close to the airport. Shuttle available as needed. Room is quiet and clean and comfortable.

The hotel is conveniently located near airport. It was very clean and reasonably priced. Unfortunately it is adjacent to a warehouse and there were trucks pulling in and out all evening/overnight. Hearing the back up noises and them hitching and unhitching trailers all night was not pleasant.

I have mostly good things to say about the hotel but my experience definitely came with some issues. Some of which are not their fault but worth mentioning. Everything was perfectly clean and the room was comfortable. It seems they were getting work done on the hotel while I was there, so things may have been a bit more disorganised than usual but when I checked in, my room’s fridge wasn’t working. The flip side of that is I explained to the staff, they gave me some ice to keep things cold overnight, and then replaced the fridge in the morning, so they did everything they could to help with the situation. As for just general observations about the property, the area of town where the hotel is located is not in the slightest bit designed for pedestrians. I really don’t get it but they apparently just don’t believe in sidewalks up that end of town. Not their fault but definitely something worth knowing if you want to pick up something from the nearby supermarkets or something.

Close to the airport next to all the shopping and food great place to stay

Close to stores and dining options. Easily accessable to main roads. Clean, comfortable, pleasant staff.

The only issue I had was Google Maps didn't give the correct directions for getting into the property. I missed the entrance 2 times. There should be better signage on Airport Road for the entrance because it is hidden and easily missed.

The hotel was very convenient and reasonably priced. I was aware they didn’t provide complimentary breakfast but it’s still disappointing. The made to order breakfast I paid for was pretty good however but maybe slightly overpriced.

The food on the restaurant premises was delicious. The staff was friendly and the hotel was quiet. The hotel was clean. Will stay there again.

Check in was great. My husband has mobility problems, so she asked if we needed a handicap room and did a great job of meeting his needs. The sink drain did not work, but maintenance took care of it. We had no hot water one evening. Service for breakfst was very slow, with others who came after us served first. We decided we will not return next time although the bed was super comfy and it was quiet.

Decent stay. The breakfast wasn’t worth buying though.

They tried to have us pay for breakfast even though I had breakfast with my room. The pancakes where thin as paper and had no flavor. The eggs where not cooked fully and gave me an upset stomach. One of the worst breakfasts ever will not be going to this hotel again. They did have a friendly staff and a little party the night before but the fact they tired to have us pay for breakfast is annoying.

Our second time staying here. Just a great hotel. It's clean, it's safe. The property itself is very nice. The breakfast is really good and dinner is great. Many dinner options and affordable. After a day of sightseeing, it's great to go to the hotel, shower and not have to leave the hotel for dinner. The staff is kind and accommodating. This is our go to when in Allentown.
