At Americas Best Value Inn McMinnville, travelers report friendly, accommodating staff but note an older, basic property with inconsistent cleanliness, pest sightings, and maintenance issues like weak AC, TV troubles, and smoke detector concerns.

Breakfast is frequently described as minimal or unavailable, with limited items and occasional closures. Some guests slept comfortably, while others cited thin walls, dated or cramped bathrooms, and a run down feel. The location is convenient to roads, stores, and events, though a few mention tricky access and a somewhat sketchy area. Expect a no frills stay where service may be the highlight.

It was decent, definitely not any fancy amenities—though there was an outdoor pool available that we didn’t end up using. we stayed because it was within 30 minutes of bonnaroo—but that ended up getting cancelled and they refused to refund us for the room. Essentially stranded, we finished our stay and found that the facilities were normal and served their purpose. the area of town it is in is definitely a tad sketchy but again, all of the essential stores like Walmart, quick eats and gas stations are nearby. i would honestly stay here again but not for anything other than a festival lol.

The check-in went smoothly but I discovered renovation was in progress and the breakfast area was closed. No complementary breakfast. Noise from tvs in other rooms drowned TV in my room unless the volume was turned to a ridiculous level. Hotel is difficult to get to as no main streets access it. Room was clean and provided necessities for a pleasant stay.

Room was clean…smoke detector had battery cover off and no battery…ice was in a camping cooler on the floor in the hall way, with nothing to get the ice out! Not very sanitary!

There were cockroaches in our room and old furniture sitting in the bushes right outside of our window. Unfortunately, the lobby smelled like stale cigarettes. The saving grace was the beds appeared clean and the pool area was clean. I think the hotel is more for extended stays and low income housing as it appeared to have “residents” living there.

There were dirty handprints all over the walls. The continental breakfast was cereal. There were , at times, people standing outside their vehicles at night in the parking lot. There was a very large man that was sleeping in the lobby… snoring very loudly. I think the hotel caters to construction workers. Not recommended for the Germaphobe. Bed was comfortable but coverlet on it was stained with something. Heating for the room was good. Shower was wet.

Room was clean but overall hotel site was run down. The front desk was burning incense and the aroma of the room was off putting. They have removed all vending machines and you have to buy snacks and drinks from the front desk and pay cash only and not charge anything to your room either. The pictures of the bathroom lead you on to them being larger and they are very cramped. Definitely will not recommend staying there unless it is the last option. The front desk worker decided to park their van under the front door awning for 2 days in a row blocking anyone from unloading their luggage easily.

Our room clean that was the good part. The stuff was taking too family members over the phone over personal stuff away I was waiting to talk to them, the back door was not locked anyone could have gotten in, some of the windows were boarded up made it look very unsafe and the staff was smoking stuff that wasn’t cigarettes.

When I arrived the refrigerator was open and defrosting. I also found rotten potatoes in a drawer. I asked the lady at the front desk before leaving to leave clean towels and please remove the potatoes. When I return hours later they didn’t leave towels or remove the potatoes. The lady at front desk was very apologetic took the potatoes, and gave me clean towels

My boyfriend and I stayed here for the weekend for bonnaroo and as we walked into our room, we were greeted with gum stuck to our bathroom wall and we saw bugs in our room. We didn’t want to be those people and freak out so we dealt with it instead of getting a new room or anything. The next day I was sitting on the floor and got bit by what I assume are bed bugs because my boyfriend also had bites on his upper leg. We were not too happy with the breakfast either as to it was all purchased from Walmart and nothing was really fresh besides the one banana that was out. We will not be returning.
