This is a pretty property with lovely grounds and a large Koi pond right in the middle. Our room Was laid out in a way that made it feel like two bedrooms. Beds were very comfortable, and there was plenty of Space. It’s a short walk to a trail to the beach. This location is quite a bit down the beach from the Haystack rocks, but it’s in an excellent location for small children in that it is located where the Ecola River meets the Pacific. This gives you the option to play in the ocean section of the beach or the river section of the beach and the water on the riverfront is very gentle. The hotel Wi-Fi did filter websites, more heavily than any other property I’ve ever stayed at. We arrived late and left early, so I did not speak to the office about it, but we were unable to access some pretty innocuous websites. For us, this was not a huge inconvenience as we were hardly in the room, but is worth noting.

The property is vintage, but nicely updated and cozy! I loved the kitchen! It felt like a little apartment! We were near a main road so easy to get to, and close to the main hub, but far enough away that it felt quiet. The landscaping and layout makes it feel more secluded. You wanted to just relax in the deck chairs provided out front! Staff was very helpful and accommodating! Would stay there again!

Excellent location, staff and service. Washrooms are nicely set up for beach activities with lots of towel bars and places to hang swimsuits. There's no A\C but the fans were sufficient to cool down the room at night. The cookies, boardgames, picnic tables and chairs and koi pond are a nice touch.

Property was fine. Comfy bed, great location, check-in and out was very easy. Room was a bit dark, killed some bugs (small), and amenities weren’t really existent but also didn’t need them. Courtyard was nice but firepit didn’t work. No recycling. Not a bad option but wouldn’t go out of my way to recommend.

On checkin, young man very nice but did not inform on where ice machine was, quiet time or other info. Young family above us veeery noisy first 2 nocs. I called, same man at desk told me no open rooms but they were checking out. I was returning to my room next morning, same couple fighting in parking lot with each other with 2 children. Can't fix stupid. Room, grounds great also gas fire pit. Overall, great, thanks!

Room was large and lodge is in a quiet location away from the busy tourist centre of Cannon Beach. The beds are a little warn out, as is the bathroom. We liked the pond and seating area outside and the staff was accommodating with providing extra fans when the weather was very hot.

Liked the location, amenities, aesthetics, friendly & professional staff, and probably more! Only things we didn't like were the keurig instead of kettle set up for hot drinks, and the carpet had many stains - not too important, but I hope they eventually change/fix them.

The room was spotless, comfy and peaceful. Close to the little town, parks and beach. The resident elk were always coming across the street to the park and a wonderful addition to the stay. Couldn’t have had a better stay at Cannon beach.

There was a huge stain in the carpet in our room, the upholster /chair was terribly stained and was so horrible looking that I never sat on it. The room had this FUNKY, very off-putting stench, it was nauseating..! Good thing, I carry FEBREEZE with me, so I sprayed the room a couple times, hoping to get the STANKY smell off but to no avail.! The room has no AC, but the Bionnaire Fan works perfectly, also the weather was not too hot at the time we visited. Other than these very bad experiences with the room, we had a good time. Bring your own water bottles, snacks, and a light jacket, it’s kinda cold at the beach. Cannon Beach is very beautiful.

Loved the area and it was great to have a bedroom separate from living room and kitchen. Loved having a kitchen with nice appliances. Only thing on my wish list was a serving bowl and bigger mugs for coffee, otherwise we had everything we needed in the kitchen. The carpet was well worn and smelled faintly of dog pee but we made do and with the fan blowing we didn’t smell it any longer. Overall we had a great stay and I can’t wait to come again.

I am only giving 3 stars based on room 17. The property itself is very nice and close to town. The staff was friendly and there are cookies in the lobby! We arrived late afternoon, the blinds were not drawn, the windows were shut and the room was super hot. We opened the windows and patio door to get the room cooler. *** there is NO SCREEN DOOR on the patio door. Was worried about insects and critters coming in. *** there are no air conditioners in the rooms. We used a fan in the window to draw in cold air - very noisy at bedtime. Room 17 is a corner room, next to the parking lot. With the blinds up and windows open, we didn't have any privacy and heard cars parking on the gravel after bedtime, Room 17 needs updating - some of the wall paint had peeled off near the table and chairs. Thought it was overpriced for this small room. Wish I could post pictures.

Loved the living space. We stayed in room #2. It had a full kitchen, two bedrooms and a bathroom. Dishes and utensils and two coffee machines; one drip machine and one single serve pod machine. I was traveling with four kids so the space was much appreciated after being squeezed into a vehicle all day.

Room could have been better…reminded me of staying at a retirement facility. Bed didn’t even have a skirt around the base so you could see the bed frame. Room was supposed to have a gas fireplace but it didn’t work. asked the front desk about it and they said they checked it but it was broke the 2 nights we were there. Would’ve been nice to get what we paid for. Place is close to the beach and town which was nice but we will probably not stay again as we could get a ABNB for the same rate.

Rooms are not air conditioned. Cool ocean breezes and box fan kept room from getting too warm in afternoon. Storm door did not have a screen and door was in need of repairs. Woodwork and wall painted touchups.

This was a clean, comfortable room with a partial view of the ocean for a reasonable price. The location is convenient for walking to the north end of town, yet our room felt pleasantly secluded and private. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. A great place at a great price!

Such a cozy, roomy cottage. Nicely appropriated with amenities you may need. Restaurants and shops are within walking distance, and the beach is accessible just a few blocks away. We loved it. On checkin, young man very nice but did not inform on where ice machine was, quiet time or other info. Young family above us veeery noisy first 2 nocs. I called, same man at desk told me no open rooms but they were checking out. I was returning to my room next morning, same couple fighting in parking lot with each other with 2 children. Can't fix stupid. Room, grounds great also gas fire pit. Overall, great, thanks!

Loved this place. Girl at front desk was very nice and accommodating. Room was very clean and spacious and nicely decorated. Had a very homey feeling. Was located in a quiet, safe neighborhood and convenient to everything. If we’re ever in the area again we will stay here.

Our room was clean. There was a bit of a damp old smell. Probably because it is on the coast and it is rainy and cool most of the year. The exterior of the buildings are run down and in need of a "face-lift". Service was attentive when needed. Check-in and out went smoothly. Overall I would rate this property a 3.5.

The location was perfect. It was an easy walk to the beach with nice creek access. It was close to restaurants and shopping in the downtown Cannon Beach area. Beautiful location, big rooms. The kitchen was well stocked. Perfect for our family getaway to the Oregon Coast.

We loved our stay here. The room was comfortable and quiet. The location was great for us, we could walk to the beach or into town. If we chose to drive, it was close to everything. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Nothing fancy about the property but clean and roomy room. Location is the end of town and bit away from main street. We walked to Haystack Rock during low tide in the morning and coming back walking on the main street, had a wonderful breakfast at Pig'n Pancake.

We stayed at #8, how cute is this unit!!!! we loved this lodge, very beautiful, way better than the pictures! this unit is very large! has a kitchen and a very cool dinning room with windows all around!!! Bed and bedding are very comfortable. Lady at the front desk is super nice too. We only booked one night, we would love to stay for a whole week! Only down side is the coffee in the room are not very good....
