Very nice hotel! Rooms were comfy and spacious, breakfast was delicious and had a lot of choices! Waffles, biscuits and gravy, eggs, meat, yogurt, bagels, fruit and juice! Very nice and helpful staff!

I booked this hotel for an out-of-town guest, and one incident left us extremely disappointed. After being gone for the day, he returned to find his room door ajar. Housekeeping had clearly entered because the bed was made, yet dirty wet towels were still on the floor, the visibly dirty carpet had not been vacuumed, and a beer was missing from the refrigerator. The housekeeping issues were disappointing, but leaving an occupied guest room unsecured is a serious security concern. Even worse was how it was handled. My guest reported it to the manager on duty and had to repeat the story several times before being told HE needed to explain it to the housekeeping manager. Then he had to explain everything again to her, and AGAIN upstairs to the housekeeper. The housekeeper repeatedly opened and closed the door as if testing whether it stuck. It did not. My guest even explained the situation in Spanish to ensure there was no misunderstanding. No one seemed particularly concerned that his room had been left unsecured or took ownership of the problem. The manager later offered a discount, but when my guest explained that I had paid for the room, he was told there was nothing they could do. Mistakes happen. But an unsecured guest room deserves an immediate, professional response. Instead, my guest felt questioned and passed from person to person. Very poorly handled.
