At Baymont by Wyndham Elko, travelers most often describe clean, quiet rooms with comfortable beds, while noting dated features, limited amenities, and recurring issues like the hot tub closure, no breakfast, and awkward parking.

The location is convenient to the freeway and shopping/dining, and many reviewers felt safe. This property was under going renovation to the exterior. There was allot of the parking lot taking over by construction workers and their equipment. Never would have booked a room here had I known this was going on. Also, the area didn't seem very safe. Had lots of signs in the parking lot that stated the hotel was not responsible for auto thefts or stolen property from vehicles. The room was OK, but didnt smell clean. Had an odor. Would not recommend staying here.

4pm check in is to late. Drove 755 miles arrived about 1:30pm . They did let me check in at 3pm. No luggage carts maked 3 trips up to 4th floor. When revs. ask for first floor because of service dog. They didn’t care. If they would have notified me I may have canceled resv. Because I noted that…

The hotel was close to the freeway exit and had several fast food options nearby. The hotel appeared well-maintained and clean. The hotel was set off the main road and was quiet. The only drawback for me was that after a long day on the road, I was looking forward to using the hot tub, but the spa room was closed for maintenance.

The hotel is aging terribly. The halls are very dim, confusing on how to get to rooms depending on where you park. Toilet "belched" every time it was flushed getting toilet water everywhere. Could not regulate temperature, it was either freezing or too hot. the "spa" was out of order indefinitely. Will definitely not stay there again!

During g check in the person barely said two words other than to tell me where my room was. Did not have an ironing board in the room, asked front desk for one. Did not bring one after an hour. I had to go downstairs to request one, and was told they didn’t know if there was any and that they would look when they got time. There was no one at the front desk when I got there and two people were in the laundry room chatting. The room was not vacuumed and there was pubic hair in the tub. Will not be staying here again!

I was here for ten days. Drain didnt work in the bath tub. My son flew me in to watch his 1 year old. A Bath is a necessity . I made it work with some plastic sheets I had from a meal. I asked every day for the tub to be fixed and kept being told maintenance wasnt in. When I checked in the room was SUPER dirty. Like they didnt even vaccum. Since my grandson took his first step in that room it was imperative they cleaned it. On the sixth day they finally sent someone ,after asking everyday to vacuum the room. My son had bought me a vacuum that after noon. When she was done I ran my vacuum and it collected MASSIVE dust and dirt. I contacted front desk and they said we only service room when customers checked in. I asked for them to check notes of when I checked in because I had asked every day including upon checkin that the room was super dirty. NOTHING A CAN of lysol didnt sanitize but it was still dirty. Just super dissapointed .

Adequate accommodations for a one-night stay with friends traveling between San Francisco Bay Area and Yellowstone National Park. Visited the property on the way to the Park and made reservation for the return stay. Very friendly and accommodating staff on both occasions (thanks to Kenneth, Ellis, and Jenny ?) Spacious rooms with comfortable beds. The property location is convenient to freeway, shopping, restaurants. We were 2 couples had 2 rooms and happy with our stay. The general previous travelers review rating was lower than what we experienced. I would rate it 8.5 out of 10.

Arrived at motel about 2-2:30pm when finally greeted by desk clerk I said I had a reservation she instantly said we have no rooms and check-in is 4:00. Okay so I come back after 4 and the young man checks me in no problems, and he is very pleasant. When we go to check out, I stood at the desk for almost 5 minutes, and no one came to the counter. Good thing there is a drop box for the room key, but I would have liked a receipt, so I know what I'm being charged. Room was perfect but the service needs improvement.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, but there was no continental breakfast as advertised and the staff were not overly friendly. The shower had very little pressure and the spa room was out of order too. I’m not sure any of these things would prevent me staying again on my own, but when traveling with kids it’s important to me that my hotel has a breakfast for them. I specifically selected this hotel for its convenience, and knowing I didn’t have to go in search of food for my child in the morning. Rates should reflect these lack of services, at the least, when they are advertised.
