The hotel unfortunately is housing for homeless people. Ceiling tiles are falling in the meeting/breakfast room. Cement walkways are cracked and uneven. Stairways rusted and in disrepair. Grass areas not mowed. Pool not usable. No safe in the room. This facility should be condemned.

Nothing like the photos. Trash everywhere. Transients hanging out in the parking lot. Room wasn't cleaned. Had to go to the front to ask for towels. Lights were not working. No plug for the microwave. Worn mattresses. The pool was empty and the grounds were totally unkempt and trashy. Did not feel like a safe environment.

Unfortunately, this was one of the worst hotels we've stayed in, so we checked out after the first night even though we had booked 3 nights. The bathtub was stained and cracked, the drain was broken, the soap dish had fallen out and left a hole in the wall, the caulking was peeling off and there were urine spots on the floor around the toilet. The doors were old, stained, and cracked. We couldn't open the curtains because of all the foot traffic, so the room was like a dungeon. The floors were dirty. I think the sheets were clean, though, and the bathroom sink looked like it had been cleaned. I would highly suggest not staying here.

This was one of THE worst hotels we've ever stayed in. This was a single night need and was looking for a reasonably priced room. There was mold on the bathroom ceiling, electric tape in place of screws on the bathroom switchplate (which sparked when testing), toilet paper was used to plug a hole on the bathroom wall, there was a huge gap between the door and door frame, we needed to buy clips to shut the curtains, the bathroom walls werent wiped clean and had dried soap and hair on them, and the floors were so dirty that when we stepped into the bath tub to shower the water turned grey. This hotel is in a one mile section that is sketchy, so safety is another concern. When we checked out, the clerk was surprised when i said our room was disgusting. We're told this hotel recently changed owners and the new owner is making repairs. The property itself is very dated and is in need of major repairs. Room 215 needs to taken out of use, which the clerk said would happen. Spend the extra $20-$30 for another hotel. You'll be grateful you did!

Dirty pillow case. Unsafe wiring on floor lamp. Black spots around tub caulking. Mold? TV did not show direct TV programs. Just a black screen with no picture or sound. Ground missing on hair dryer plug. No light when using the wall switch when entering a dark room. Clock did not display. Worst experience in 50 years of traveling. First time I have ever felt I felt compelled to give a negative review.

I have stayed in many hotels and motels. This room by far is the nastiest room I have ever seen or smelt. It smells like the room has a bad case of foot mouth and ass funk. Was told this room is a non smoking room. Should let people smoke in here, it might smell better, dirty torn o s chair I wouldn’t let a dog sit on, went for a walk down the street to see a meth head pop out of the bushes and beat himself up, I am considering this just par for the day, considering my car engine exploded, made a reservation for a rental car, went to pick it up and they had no cars. And this is how I have become trapped in this shitbox

We got to our room and the first thing we noticed was that the deadbolt on the door wouldn’t catch/close. Obviously they knew about the problem, they had installed a small chain for security. The dining area was small. The waffle batter was thin and they didn’t have a good choice of foods.

The hotel was clean and quiet, and the room was very comfortable. The breakfast was included in the price, and it had an outdoor pool. The hotel manager was amazing when we had a puncture. He helped us change our tire to the spare which got us to the tire company a couple of miles away. Was so grateful to him.

The check in was terrible! I had called in advance, to make sure I could check in a little earlier, and been told that I could check in at 11 a’clock. When I showed up, the staff did not belife me- and I was told that there were no man in the staff, that could have answerd the phone = saying thereby, that I was lying!! I was in tears! (Tired, sick with the flu, and just exhausted..). This was just horrible! - But, all the other staff, was trying their best, to make this work, and they were nice and friendly.

It was definitely not the best and I was there for my grandfathers funeral services. Cons: The odd stains on the couch in the room. The worst door I've ever seen, and I've been to Chicago, twice, different areas. The door was not fully flush with the doorframe, so some light would shine in. It looked like a door that has definitely been through it. Like possibly broken into multiple times and could possibly be broken into again. I am a very light sleeper so the various people walking around and talking, plus the garbage truck in the morning meant for a restless night on my end. However, I can't fully blame the hotel on this when its typically guests fault for that one. Also, the location was a little sketchy. I've never stayed in Santa Fe before, always just went through it. Pros: The pool area looked clean and fun, but left too quicly to use. The free breakfast, was pretty decent, no complaints there. Plus we got to bring our dog, for an extra fee of course, but the fee was very reasonable compared to other places. I was very lucky to have him with me given the door situation. Staff was friendly and efficient.

I liked the location, a short drive to the santa fe plaza, meow wolf, etc. The price reflected all the shortcomings of the room. This is an old motel without any major updates, the beds are uncomfortable and it was difficult to keep the room temperature consistant. There is a nice little mexican restaurant attached to the motel and they have great guacamole and friendly staff.

The linen’s were dirty there were bugs on the wall and ceiling. The bathroom was very small there was only one towel for two people. The air conditioning did not work right. The area the hotel is in is not safe. There are a lot of homeless people up and down the road at night.

The breakfast was average, the hotel needed some grounds maintenance, the pool was empty of water in spite of it being 80 degree weekend temps in June. Someone was riding a skateboard past my doorway about 5 different times around midnight. It kept waking me up.

There was no continental breakfast, but snack food they left for guests to grab from a table. The room was not soundproofed. People in the next room were clearly heard. Many ceiling tiles in dining room are missing or hanging loose. Drapes in our room and dining room were loose and partially on floor. Only one regular coffee packet provided for two guests. Exterior peeling paint. Breakfast ran out of some foods and wasn’t replaced while we ate. Shrubs need trimming. Comfortable beds. Room adequately sized.
