Just like what has been mentioned in other reviews, the pool area was immaculate and awesome, the breakfast was fantastic with a great variety of options including the family favorite of waffles. Overall, for a busy hotel it was quiet and comfy--ideal for our needs.

Nice hotel, newly renovated rooms but not great quality on updates from what I saw. When booking I was looking for a hotel with a hot tub which they are renovating at the moment…So I’m mainly disappointed with hotels.com for not stating that was happening during our stay! This was our 20 year anniversary and we were really looking forward to using the hot tub so that was very upsetting! I could’ve booked at 50 different hotels for cheaper if I didn’t get that amenity. The staff was very nice and apologetic but it wasn’t their fault at all. So I give this hotel an 8 out of 10, but hotels.com gets a zero!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS HOTEL! Front desk staff were very friendly and check-in was fast! Lobby smelled amazing. Clean and fresh. My room was right off the lobby which I truly appreciated. Room was clean and spacious. Bathroom was impeccable. Water pressure (which is a thing for me) was great! Clean towels. The pool and pool area was clean & very well-maintained. The hot tub was HOT! Jets worked great! Just superb.

Check in was welcoming and friendly. I stayed here for 4 nights and it was loud at times during the night. Kids running, jumping really fast and loud. Jeff at the front desk was super nice and helpful. I asked Jeff a few questions and he knew everything about the property and the area. The hotel should be updated. The elevators were out of service one night. The property looks old and has a old security system.

The hotel is showing its age despite a recent cosmetic renovation. Had a funny smell almost like a wet dog. Internet was not good in our original room, we had to get moved for it to work. Dining room is too small. Hard finding a table for a family of 4 to eat breakfast. I have to say the staff were helpful and friendly. I’d only stay again for a really good price.

When we first entered our hotel room we noticed a used razor in the bathtub and only one set of bath towels for a room of 3 adults. We had notified the front desk and their response was "I guess they did not finish cleaning it". They did not offer to finish cleaning the room, and we had to dispose of the razor ourselves. They did bring us the towels we needed. Then we noticed the TV was not working, the receptionist helped trouble shoot however, in the end nothing could be done about the TV. Assistant manager told us we couldn't be switched to another room. We weren't offered any compensation for the dirty, unfinished cleaned room and broken TV. Would not stay here again.

Our room was never cleaned. We opened a towel and there was a hairball from the people who stayed earlier. I would NOT recommend anyone to stay unless they are okay with not having a clean room. The sheets and comforter were also stained with spots. Very disappointed in staying here.

The entrance to the hotel was very inviting, as was the front desk staff. My only dislikes are that there was only one waffle maker, and the line was extremely long. Having small children with their hearts set on waffles, but having limited time, was difficult. Upon entering our room, there was garbage on the floor next to the bed, and the bed sheets were dirty. Other than that, we had a nice stay.

Ease of travel off and on highway was nice and great restaurant across the parking lot and close to the park and ride for events.

The cleaning staff just could not bring themselves to clean my room. The desk clerk finally had to come up and "refresh" the room on my third night. The room had a bad moldy smell. I have stayed at other Fairfields before and always enjoyed my stay, but this wasn't their finest moment, for sure. The desk staff were great!

The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, the morning breakfast was good but the condition of the hotel overall and especially the tile on our bathroom floor could certainly see some improvement. Lots of cracked tile on the floor and grout missing. The building needs a bit of love.

PLUS: Immaculate Room. Very comfortable bed. Quiet area. Friendly, helpful staff, especially Jeff at the front desk. Delicious fresh, hot breakfast with many items and plenty of seating. MINUS:The music in the lobby by the front desk in the morning was WAY too loud for the conversation I was trying to have with my seated elderly family members. Also, a guy came in to the dining room/lobby area with a huge cartful of clean towels, sat down at one of the dining room tables and started folding the towels right there in the lobby-not very professional. There must be somewhere else in the building he can do that- so tacky.

No microwave in the room although there is one in the lobby you can use. We purchased small containers of ice cream before checking in to find out later the fridge had no freezer - I don’t think I have seen that in a hotel before. Staff was over-the-top friendly and helpful. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Regular breakfast.

Nice hotel. Stayed on top floor. Room was very clean, fresh. Bed comfortable. Bathroom nice. Overall very good. Only complaint is the mini fridge was awful - had two settings, on or off. When on, would not sense temp and froze everything. Also, wi-fi is apparently spotty on top floor so were not able to use netflix for the kids.

The staff was so friendly and helpful. Offered us each a bottle of cold water when we checked in and also cookies. Asked about a great place to eat and made suggestions of places and food from each. Room and breakfast areas were very clean. Great breakfast bar and coffee bar. We will be in the area again in a month and plan to stay there again.

In a business park kind of an area near the Twin Cities. About a 20-minute drive (with no traffic) to downtown Minneapolis. Easy parking, comfortable beds, pretty quiet. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was decent. Easy access to Highways 494, 212 and 69. Solid value for the price. Would stay here again.

Expect to be disappointed by the breakfast, service, and the staff's response. They ended breakfast 20 minutes early one day, and the next day ran out of eggs and milk. The only milk alternative on offer was chochokate soy milk. They said "we had it earlier so try to get to breakfast when it opens".

Went with family for a vacation. From the outside it looked like it needed some update, but the inside was very nice. Check in was quick, employees were very friendly. The room was a good size, and the beds were comfortable. The dining area was smaller from the picture. The hotel was full so people either came back to get a seat, or just would leave and go eat out. Also, it would be nice if they would check more often when supply was low/empty.

The breakfast area needed attention since we were there on a Sunday morning and lots of people came at 9:30 one half hour before it closed. They were not prepared for that. They also ran out of pool towels early on Saturday evening by 6 pm. Room and bed was clean and comfortable.
