Airport shuttle runs to 9pm only, we arrived on our flight at 915pm and had to take a $50 Uber to the hotel. The airport shuttle and good price was the main reason I chose this hotel - having to take an Uber made it more expensive hotels in the area. Would not stay here again if needing and airport transfer- shuttle times need to be posted on the website. No microwave in room but one was available in the lobby. Hot breakfast was good.

Parking was a nightmare. They have very little parking available and clearly do park and ride so that limits even more. Their lot also had clearly not been plowed. When we asked where to park because every spot was full we were told to find a curb to park by and that they don’t have any overflow parking anywhere.

Our return flight took longer than expected due to the weather. Since it was after 9:00 PM the hotel shuttle was no longer running. However, I was pleasantly surprised the hotel setup an Uber to pick us up from the airport. Would highly recommend staying here, especially if you plan to sleep, park and fly out of MSP Airport.

The main area, along with at least the second floor, was under construction. Squares of new carpet and a large roll of other carpet limited the pathway to our room as it was left in the main hallway. The floor was partly carpeted, leaving the rest with exposed concrete. The main floor construction left a portion of the ceiling (wiring, beams, etc) exposed, same with the walls with insulation showing, wallpaper hanging, etc. we understand construction is needed, however we were not informed of this before our stay. I don’t think it was worth a $160 stay for one night at that time. During swimming, we found multiple clumps of hair in and next to the pool. Thankfully staff were friendly and the breakfast was good.

Property is undergoing reconstruction requiring guests to walk through messy areas with missing flooring, walls, and ceiling tiles. Also, several tripping hazards. Orbitz should have flagged this. Otherwise, this is your average Hampton Inn.

Ok shame on you Hampton Inn. I this is the third time I have stayed there in the last twelve months. Got there now to find out they are charging a double digit parking fee. It’s bad enough I the room was expensive went up from last time. It’s not a great room but nice. The parking lot is in terrible shape. Wonder where the money is going think it’s just another hidden fee. I looked you really have to did to find that you will pay to park. The lady was at the desk was great when she informed me of the charge. She did wave it this time. But there will be no next time. With all the taxes and now parking fees the room goes to a lower triple digit room that is just a basic room. I travel 14-15 weeks out of the year. A place in Bloomington started this last year. I used to stay there four weeks out of the year. Actually found nicer and Cheeper now will do the same here

Hotel was updated. Only slight (personal issue) was the bathroom exhaust fan was very weak and at times didn’t work. And we had the cool air on, and it seemed to be getting the floor wet underneath the air conditioner. Seems like it might be a potential for mold issues? Breakfast was good, lemonade and cookies out at the front desk during the day. Pool was small, only 4.5’ deep, and no hot tub. Laundry & fitness room available. Staff that we talked with were very kind!!

Very happy with our stay but be forewarned, this hotel was badly damaged by a prank someone pulled recently (totally out of management’s hands) so they are doing a lot of work to several areas at the moment. Our floor had tons of heating fans everywhere to help fix water damage. Otherwise, rooms were comfortable and the damage didn’t really affect us (we were on the same floor as the fans). Could not hear them in our room. Was shocking to walk into the hotel and see the damage but I wouldn’t let that stop you from staying. Great price per night and nice safe area. Good assortment of breakfast items.

Ill start this review by saying the front desk staff was very nice and the breakfast was decent. The first room we in, we got in late and went straight to bed. In the morning I was disgusted to see the bathroom didnt look like it had even been cleaned. There was a large urine pool/dried areound the toilet and lots of dark hairs all over. I called the front desk and they said they could give us another room or have housekeeping visit. I opted to have them clean the room as we had an appt and no extra time. Upon our return that evening, the room had not been cleaned. I called the front desk ans she was aware of the request earlier in the day and apologized for it not being done. We wer then moved to another room, which was actually worse then the first. I called the front desk again, the lady was very nice and she came and inspected the room and was appalled by the condition as well. She then got us a third room. After seeing all of the rooms it was unsettling to see the lack of thoroughness of the cleaning being done and it made me question the cleanliness of where the food is being made and kept. I will attach photos to remove opinion and show the facts.

Unable to keep my reservation due to hotel staff never answering my phone calls. I wanted to schedule a shuttle for the airport, but since I couldn't get through, I had to book another reservation at a different hotel. I couldn't take the chance of not having a room or shuttle in the morning and ruining our entire trip. I spoke with Hilton customer service and they couldn't reach the property either. Booked through Expedia and couldn't cancel due to it being same day. They attempted to contact the hotel, too, and couldn't get through. Expedia was another headache and I won't be using their service after this trip. Lots of wasted time on the phone, stress about the booking, and having to spend an additional bunch of money to book another hotel. Avoid at all costs.

During our stay, our travelling partners had a significant amount of money stolen from their room. Our rooms were adjoining. I was glad I didn’t also leave cash behind. Since we always had our keys, and they did not offer maid service during our visit, one can infer that a staff member entered.The manager was polite and looked into the matter, but to date there has been no resolution. This is very disappointing and will deter us from future stays.

This was probably one of the best places I’ve ever stayed over many years of visiting family in Minneapolis/ St. Paul. What was really refreshing was the friendly and accommodating staff making sure throughout our stay that all was well. We’ll definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay. We were greeted with a friendly face and treats for our dog upon check in! The staff was amazing. The location was perfect with so many options within walking distance for food and drink. The hotel was so clean and the bath products were fantastic!

This was our second time staying in the last month. The hotel is convenient to getting to MSP, the rooms are clean, generously sized, and the beds are very nice. The staff is friendly and professional. Breakfast is very good with many options. Only wish would be a hot tub. Will stay here again.

This Hampton Inn was nice, clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were good and offered a decent variety of food. Even the dark roast coffee was decent! I love the chocolate chip cookies that are offered every afternoon as well as the constant availability of coffee, hot water for tea, ice water and lemonade. The room, although showing signs of use and age, was clean and offered enough towel bars, hooks and outlets for the four of us. The only down side to this trip was the bathroom door handle kept falling off. Overall, it was a very nice stay, and I would book this hotel again.
