I usually stay at the ramada in for its convenient location, swimming pool, hot tub and sauna. The hot tub was out of order. No bueno :( Upside, the restaurant was revamped and is pretty good. Last year you couldnt have paid me enough to eat there again, this year it was amazing. See you again in august. Pls fix the hot tub

The parking lot is too tight and the blacktop was a hot mess, especially back by the annex. Pickups shouldn’t be allowed to park between the buildings because of the space constraints. We needed the handicap parking and there were only 2 spaces in this area. Room was clean and basically quiet.

Easy parking and walking distance to restaurants along with many great bars. Pool and hot tub was amazing and the room was outstanding! Defiantly will stay again!

The newly remodeled bar/restaurant is beautiful! Unfortunately everything else is very outdated. I hope there are plans to continue with remodeling/updating the rooms and the rest of the hotel. The location is perfect for exploring downtown Marquette.

The hotel is well located walking distance from everything. There is basically no fitness center - one bike, one elliptical and one treadmill and the bike is out of order. Very noisy pool area.

right in the heart of town. Did not care about how we stayed in another building from the main building parking was a little different as not much room over by the other building. The updating in the room was not the best job, the toilet base was gross never been cleaned you could tell as it had brown streaks down it,the carpet needs a good scrubbing, the paint job was horrible as they painted over wall paper that was peeling off the walls. If feel for the price of over $200 it should have been a little cleaner and a little better remodel/paint job.. love the town and the cool farmers market they had that saturday morning

I've never been in Ramada Inn that stunk so bad. I should have left and got my money back. Be assure I won't be staying in another one of your hotels ever.

The Hotel needs updating. The bed was horrible. The previous person who stayed in the room got sick and threw up on the carpet. The cleaning person did not do a very good job, there were chunks still in the carpet. I didn't even want to give the 1 star for cleanliness.

Room had a musty odor, we considered leaving but stuck it out. Found in the morning that carpeting was wet near walls behind shower and must have been that way for some time since we also found white mold on walls and carpet. A proper cleaning of the room and carpet should have unturned this. I notified staff of the problem (showed photos I took of the mold) during checkout and was told that the facility is frequently used by construction crews and that problems are not reported by them. I did not ask for nor was I offered any compensation for my poor experience.

While the rooms have been updated into more modern times, the furnishings were still very worn! The chaise lounge in our room was so worn, and not very clean that my husband and I never even sat on it. The carpet in our room was insanely dirty, to the point that you definitely do not want to walk without some sort of shoe or slide. The times I did the floor just felt kind of damp, and just gross. Being in the detached building also meant we weren’t really near the pool, which was a reason why we stayed there; never used that due to having to cross a parking lot to the other building. Staff was very friendly which was nice, but the hotel for sure could use another makeover.

This property is dated and it shows. I stayed in a poolside room that was pretty worked over. Also loud when people were using the pool. The window overlooked the parking lot from ground level. Shower stall was cramped and yellowed. No power ports available for charging , had to unplug the alarm clock to access one. Decent downtown location earned 3-star rating, not the hotel property itself.

I travel frequently for business and stay in many hotels. I booked a King suite at this hotel with a great rate and was happy with the condition and amenities of the room. Really, the only problem I faced was the astonishingly slow internet. The speed tests came back at only 1.3 Mbps, which is darn near dial up speed. If you need to VPN, good luck. The connection is slow and unstable. They don't have a secondary network to connect to with a pay choice either. This can put business people way behind in their work. I would pay extra for high speed, just saying..(hint). I'm sure by now that faster internet is available in the U.P. of Michigan in main cities. The whole property is segmented with several different buildings. Lots of stairs, and elevators are for staff. They were accommodating to let exhibitors use their kitchen elevator to bring in exhibit setups to the second floor instead of all the stairs. Parking was a challenge, but, it was FREE. Please note, any parking in Downtown Marquette is Paid by app, so be prepared. Most places are within walking distance from the hotel, so that was a bonus to keep the vehicle parked and walk. Great food and places to hang out at for night life.

The original building could stand with some updating. We checked in and were given no information about available amenities, check out times, where to park, or anything like that. Our room was in a separate building with limited parking. The parking lots are difficult to navigate. The exterior door to our building would not unlock so we had to walk all the way around the building to get in. The beds were comfortable, the room was large, and the water pressure in the shower was excellent. With a few updates, this could be a property worth the money being charged per night.

Booked online and when I got there another associate booked my room. Gave me another room that was on pool side. Unfortunately pool is indoors so the room is totally dark all the time. Looks like nighttime no matter what time of day. Staff should have let us know this before asking whether changing rooms was ok. Very depressing. Glad only booked 1 night.

Room was good, felt old, had to turn on the heat and it made the room swell bad, guess the heat had not been turned on since last year. Mattress was way to hard, do the guest a favor and add a topper! Staff was very kind! They do have a restaurant inside. Overall a good room, clean had all you need, but could use an extra cabinet to set things on! Good places to eat nearby! Awesome bakery near by!

Older building but the room is clean and large shower is warm and works great. Frig did not work which was disappointing but too tired to try to change rooms, after trying to figure out how to fix. I would come back. Beds were comfy.

Clean room and comfortable beds. No elevator to 2nd floor, which was not a problem for us, but could be difficult for someone with limited mobility. Our room overlooked the pool, which was nice, but got rather noisy into the evening. The noise did stop around 10:30 and we were able to sleep well afterward.

The cost and location are tough to beat, but the poolside rooms could use a little love. We always stay here because it's relatively affordable, downtown, and our kid loves the pool. Might not book poolside next time, just because the rooms do feel a little damp and humid. Maybe that is to be expected, with the sliding doors.

The lady who checked us in was one of the best ever. Very positive. Told us what to expect about the condition of the property and the planned renovations. Told us about the restaurant and the great menu. Sold us on breakfast. She is a real valuable asset.

I was very happy with my stay here. The room was a bit dated and really need to be remodeled. But I can’t rave more about the customer service. And the food from there restaurant was verry tasty. The gentleman who worked at the restaurant even delivered it to our room and had a smile on his face. It was nice to experience that

We stayed two nights and we were disappointed that our room was never cleaned during that time. We came back on the second night to see our towels still on the floor, our trash still full and the room completely untouched. We had to call down to the front desk (on our cells, because the room phone wasn't working) to ask them to deliver extra towels because they never replaced the ones on the floor (which is where we were instructed to leave towels that we wanted replaced). At that point, there wasn't much benefit in having them clean the whole room so we just dealt with the situation. Interestingly, on the second day, as we were leaving the room, housekeeping immediately asked if we were heading out so they could clean the room. Certainly would've been nice for them to have that enthusiasm during our stay! Very disappointing that Ramada did not prioritize cleaning the room of multi-night guests. This will absolutely affect our willingness to stay here again.

We had a room facing the pool area… very noisy and the kids were running up and down the stairways and in front of our room past midnight. Called the front desk twice and little to no help. Was told that the maintenance guy they would usually send was busy cleaning rooms because they were short help.

Place is an old dorm in not a good neighborhood. Outdated, smelled like an old bowling alley. Only place to eat is the restaurant that I refused to eat at because it was expensive in a disgusting hotel. Homeless shelter right across the street. I should have done more research before I booked it.

Clean rooms and convenient location to the harbor but it is located very close to a warming center with a lot of idle men milling about. I asked the front desk if my bicycle would be safe if I left it outside and they advised to bring it in the room.

They dont serve breakfast but have a restaurant where you can purchase breakfast. The food was not great and they messed my order up like 4 times. I kept having to run back in and ask for things they forgot. Im not sure ill stay again after figuring out they dont have continental breakfast and seeing the quality of food Harley's lounge provided.

The hotel was clean and beds were comfy. The hours of the restaurant were not convenient. We had planned to eat an early dinner after checking in, but the restaurant did not open for dinner until 5pm. The pool was really busy and they only had three tables with limited chairs for parents to watch their children. We ended up standing for awhile until we could snag some chairs.

I was visiting due to my mother’s passing and was just expecting the typical Ramada that I’ve always known. I was blown away by the new Restaurant with its creative menu and cocktails. This was some of the best food I’ve had in a while and the BEST french onion soup. I sat at the bar and had great service. Vaughn did an outstanding job. It seemed like everyone had a passion for whatever they were doing. The Beverage Manger was very hands on and extremely knowledgable. You could tell he cares about the product and service provided.

No free breakfast, shows in the listing that there is breakfast. Misleading, breakfast in the restaurant but you have to pay. No tv guide. Pictures showed pool view from the room that was chosen, but our door was by the pool. So no window or glass door showing pool. It was OK
