Beautiful hotel, we enjoyed drinks at the sports bar and dinner at the noodle bar. I had the best night of sleep on our road trip in the comfortable bed. Unfortunately no luck in the casino

This was the worst stay I have ever had. I will never stay here again. First I suffer with migrains and had a migrain upon checkin. I went to my room and attempted to lie down. The music from the pool was so loud I could not bare it. After 3 hours I went downstairs and asked to be moved to another room. The Supervisor said shw could move me but I would stll hear the music because it bounces off the walls. This was totally unacceptable. I at least wanted her to day ok, I will walk out and ask them to turn it down a little. She stated the pool closes at 9 and after that I would be ok. Again totally unacceptable and I would never stay here again. A total disaster and checked out early.

The casino is amazing and the service is wonderful. Unfortunately the 24-hour music coming from the first floor can be heard even in the rooms on the 7th floor. We were staying on the very edge of the seventh floor and all night long where the beats from the drum tracks of each song playing in the lobby. We did not sleep at all. Other than that it was a great experience lol.

We reserved a non-smoking 2 queen room. They put us in a very smoky, unclean room. Hair on the bathroom counter & bead w/hair on the floor. The room size and bathroom/tub were huge. I just wished it was clean & non-smoking. Disappointed in this stay.

There were no towels in our room, there was hair in the tub, I received bug bites all over my back and legs from the bed, and the staff was rude. The food court was great! The staff in the food court were friendly and the food was delicious.

We loved the people. We stayed 3 nights and housekeeping never came. Same sheets. Same dirty towels. No trash bags. None! Bath tub not clean. We didn’t use WiFi or pool or order movies. Still had to pay for them. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Love them. Shampoo and little bit of conditioner. No soap.

Check in was wonderful, staff was very friendly. We had two rooms and they were both dirty! The rooms were dirty, the floor had trash all over it even out in the hallway, the bathroom had hair all over the floor, the mirrors were not clean, there was glitter and hair all over the bed, the shower curtain was dirty, the sheets were stained The cleaning staff need to do a better job There was a pill behind the headboard in one of the 2 rooms we had.

Hotel was nice overall. The room was bare bones. Not even a bar of soap to wash your hands in the bathroom. One garbage can in the whole room and no available plugs to charge devices by the bed or desk. Sink was cracked and bathtub was extremely dangerous with not enough hand rails

Very friendly and professional staff. Great on-site restaurants available! Local shopping good. Was there for an event at the Shreveport Municipal Center. King Deluxe room was very spacious, best tub for a big guy I'd ever had in a room! Only critiques, need to get some USB ports in the room and the TV didn't have app functions to watch my subscription services, ie Prime, Nexltflix, ect.

The tub did not drain properly. This is not the first time I have expereinced this at the Horseshoe. This is a serious problem. All they said when I checked out was thanks for letting us know. Not sure that I will return, plubming shoudl always work well. Also I could hear the alarm clock in the adjacent room go off. Comes acccross not very private room from sound.

Why is it every time I stay at Horseshoe Casino hotel the hot water in the shower does not work. I let it run 15 minutes and it never got cold out of the showerhead or lavatory faucet.

Check in person was unfriendly. She put us in a room that had construction above us that started at 7:00 am. When we called the front desk from our phone since the phone in the room was not working, this argumentative person said they should have told us at check in. The room was very smoky, the thermostat wasn’t marked and temperature was hard to control. Water all over the floor in the bathroom upon check in. Pillows are horrible. Terrible stay!

I made my reservation 5 days before my stay and it was confirmed. We arrived at 1130pm after driving 5 hours, working an event and then driving 30 min to the hotel. THEY WERE OVERBOOKED AND DID NOT HAVE A ROOM FOR ME. I never once got told they were overbooked, not a call, email, no communication. They had ample time and yet never reached out. They have lost my business.

We booked the premium non smoking 2 Queen bed room, newly renovated with the river view. We drove 10 hrs to get there. Check in is at 4pm and check out at 11 am, we arrive 7:30 pm and had to wait 50 minutes to check in because the room was not ready. When we finally got to our room the only view we had was of the highway. Called the front desk to make them aware that this was not the room I paid for only for them to tell me that the room I booked is not available that night. I was too exhausted to argue so we decided to spend the night in that room then change it the next day. The next day came and we went to change our room at around 1 pm since check out is at 11 we wanted to give them time. The front desk seemed annoyed that we wanted to change to the room that we paid for but she changed it. My husband had the idea to see the room in person before we relocated and thank God that he did because the view was of the roof and quite frankly the highway view was way better so we opted to stay in the old room. This trip was for my commencement ceremony at LSUS and It definitely put a bummer in my mood because I watched their videos of the room and was so excited for the little break from work and school only to have an experience like this. My advice to them is do not book reservations if you can’t fulfill them and the parking lot was hot and stunk of pee everywhere. I wasn’t expecting the Ritz but dawm, pls don’t sell what you can’t deliver.

Check-in went good. The room was clean except 1/3 roll toilet paper and no extra, no towels or wash rags except for one person and no shower curtain and no coffee. The second night came back to room not cleaned or any of the items fixed. Went to service desk and reported and 3 hours later room service showed up to fix these items. Customer should not have to ask for these items. Also when leaving after checkout checked credit card and was charged $103.34 . Asked what for but they couldn't tell me what for. Was not a good Anniversary stay.

Reserved a non-smoking room. Got there and they only had smoking. Had to call for a cancellation so I didn’t get charged. Lady at the front desk was as unhelpful as she could be. When I asked for the front desk phone number she said “they have it” and then gave me someone else’s business card and number that delayed me another 15 minutes. Asked for a manager and after 15 minutes they had still not show up. Another front desk agent asked if she could help and and she was actually helpful - even with a trainee name tag. After 35 minutes total and no help from the hotel I was finally issued a refund and went somewhere else. I had been looking forward to playing craps, but that won’t happen there ever again.

Property in general was very clean and maintained. A few homeless people were camped out in the parking garage elevator area, which made it a little unsettling. We were placed in the incorrect room in the beginning and the room was extremely dirty, broken curtains, ripped linens. I called the front desk and confirmed we were placed in the wrong room and they swiftly made the switch for us.

Room was clean, comfortable, and laid out nice. Could use a few more accessible plugs in the room. BEWARE: Casino ramp is NOT favorable for mobility challenged guests. Overall well worth the price and food is great with plenty of options. Meals were priced favorable when taken into consideration of being located in casino environment.

Girls staycation!Enjoyed hanging out at the pool. Lots of water chairs and umbrellas. Close/ walking distance or short Uber/Lyft rides to lots of restaurants.

Beautiful hotel. My king size bed suite was spacious. Wish they had a choice of thick and thinner pillows. This sounds petty but, they need to provide an extra trash can for the bathroom. The staff was great and the food was great at the 8oz burger.

I liked the pretty room but the bathroom sliding door and high bath product placement made it hard for my young son to wash his hair and body on his own. I realize most people don't bring young kids to the casino but this is a consideration for us. Great pancakes at the 8 oz!

Only a couple of restaurants open. No mention by Expedia or the property that there is very little open before 5pm except casino not that majority of restaurants & bars are only open Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Good luck finding a drink before 5pm.
