For the most part the staff was friendly and helpful. But there was little communication between them. Our first room smelled of bleach and was just damp feeling. This along with the lack of soundproof windows were the reasons to ask for another room - on the opposite side of the hall. We received another room, but on the same side and the end of the same hallway. Noise and generally not incredibly clean left us disappointed. You will also need extra towels: be sure to ask when you arrive. Breakfast had little to offer, but the attendant was busy keeping up. The weekend attendant, however, could not even keep up with coffee. When the attendant at the front desk was asked for another coffee packet for the room coffee machine, we were told they only had 1 packet left … but he did offer a bag of coffee for their kitchen machine. “Pre-Check-in” did not preclude any formalities; so don’t bother scanning in your ID. They will need it, along with additional signatures and car descriptions. Pre-Check-out was offered, but we simply threw our keys in the box with everyone else, around 8:50 a.m. There were several other issues that generally could be ignored if everything else was fine - including a group of unruly teens running the halls at 2 a.m. - but we won’t be returning to this hotel. If you can get into the sister-company, Wingate, on the next block, you’ll have far less aggravation and a better experience for much the same price.

Arrived to a sign saying pool not in use due to too many guests and that there was no tv because of clouds? Also one of our rooms smelled like smoke and the other had floor boards loose. Elevator was very small and very slow.
