Clean quiet room. Older place but it’s great for a stop over. I travel alone and safety is number one to me. It felt safe for myself and my car outside. Pet friendly with a reasonable pet fee is a bonus.

We mainly booked this hotel because of the low cost, the low despot, plus they list they have a indoor pool. When we arrived, we had to wait 10 minutes for someone to show up to the front desk and then was informed they don't have a pool anymore or that it was under maintenance.

Promptly greeted and checked in. Room was big and bed was comfortable. It was difficult for both of us to get ready in the bathroom due to the toilet being right in front of the mirror. Pool was not accessible and the breakfast lacked protein!

They promised a pool, exercise room, Cable tv, and Wi-Fi but they had none of that of service. For both nights we were without all of the above. They offered no apology for the inconvenience or information about the service not being available at the time of check in. They waited until we got to our rooms and questioned them about it, then they told us that they were having problems with the services. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone or stay there again.

spent the night in what seemed like a cheap hotel and woke up to a roach crawling around on the dresser mentioned it at checkout and all the clerk responded was “thanks for letting us know” no apology or nothing being I already spend the night didn’t see a reason to fight for a refund that I would probably never get just checked out and left after inspecting all my clothing/belongings. Breakfast didn’t look like anything special but chose not to eat after seeing bugs in the room don’t want to think what’s in the food area

I would only stay here again if someone held me at gunpoint. Although the staff was very kind and helpful, the hotel itself was dirty and I encountered many issues. I'm not usually one to complain unless I'm pushed to that point, I was PUSHED. I got locked out of my room several times and the lady at the desk had to call the manager to let me back in. I brushed that off as a one time thing, as the building looked old. I figured if it happened again I would just change rooms. The 3rd morning of my stay I woke up to a cockroach in my room. It was absolutely vile. I killed it, took photos, and asked for a room change. I got to my new room where the toilet was already clogged. I kept finding random bites on my arms and suspected bed bugs, so l checked after room service had cleaned my room and sure enough, right on the pillow was a bed bug. ON MY PILLOW. Room service just left it there! There was no way they didn’t see it. Absolutely disgusting hotel. I was denied a refund when checking out because I booked through Travelocity. I'm calling first thing after the weekend is over to demand a refund. Stay at your own risk!!!!!

As soon as I walked in all you could smell was a mixture of sweat and animals. The carpet was filthy. The rooms were decently clean. But never an econo lodge again.

Breakfast menu very limited. Worse issue is that they turn off all power to your room when you check out. We walked into room with no power. Went to desk, he said he forgot to cut on. This meant all aspects did not work, including air conditioning or refrigerator, so room was quite stuffy. By refrigerator being off, it was wet and moldy inside and when cut on air conditioner, seemed to blow moldy air, as you would expect with condensation in the unit. Poor business choice to do that to save a few pennies. Also the plug on hair dryer was broken and taped back together with regular tape, not electrical tape. To be used in the bathroom!

The power was off in our room upon arrival, the room was hot and the fridge was hot. The top cover of our bed was quite stained. The remote for the tv didn't work. Lastly I'm not sure why you have half pillows on a bed. The bed was comfortable though.

Our room stunk. Had to go buy air fresheners. Next morning I found hairs in my bed that didn’t belong to me. Breakfast offerings were to wait in line to make a waffle or eat an old muffin. Gladly Bob Evans was across the street.

This is a pretty decent, basic hotel. The room was big and reasonably comfortable. The bathroom was small with almost no lighting in the shower, but I didn’t mind that. The only real problem was that the AC unit seemed to be hanging on for dear life. (To be fair, it was a hot day in the middle of July.) It would shut off as if it had reached the designated temperature, when it was clearly much hotter. I had to set it to 60 to keep the room at a bearable temperature, while I usually set hotel AC units to 72-74. I complained to the guy at the front desk, and he said the room would cool off over time, but he was kind enough to show me a second room I could switch to, but it was no better. So I would not recommend staying here in the middle of the summer if you run hot. But if you’re like me and tend to run cool, or if you’re not traveling during the summer, I think this is a good place for the price.

My two biggest things when staying at a hotel is how comfortable the bed is and the shower. This place did not disappoint in either. It was clean, comfortable and the staff was very friendly. The continental breakfast was everything I needed to start my day. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks!

Very good budget hotel. The staff was very nice during check-in. Great location. It is a very safe area with lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. My room was clean and spacious. No complaints! You are also only like 10 to 15 minutes from downtown St. Louis.

Mobility accessible room was spacious enough for me to comfortably get around. Roll in shower was very nice. Bed was the most comfortable one. I have slept in at a hotel in a very long time. I like a firm mattress and this was. The chair and ottoman was very comfortable and worked well for my needs to keep my feet elevated.

Check in was quick and seamless. We had two rooms that were clean. One room had an alarm clock with extra plug ins while the other room did not. We had to move the night table to plug in a phone charger. Breakfast was a standard continental style.

I need mobility access rooms, especially a roll in shower. This hotel offered that and had bars near the toilet. The space around the bed and different parts of the room was large enough that I could very easily maneuver my walker. The bed was very comfortable as was the chair and ottoman My check in and check out were very smooth transactions. The gentleman at the front desk both times was very nice. And one of the employees even helped me with the door as I was pushing my walker loaded down with my suitcase. It would have been difficult for me to have gotten the door on my own. I highly recommend this hotel!

When i got to my room power was off within a few minutes it came back on. Room was very hot turned a/c on and left to get food came back 30-45 minutes later and room was still warm and the a/c was not blowing anything. Went to front desk the guy was rude so went nack to toom packed my stuff and left. I have stayed here several times with no issues. Very disappointed bit die to me booking 3rd party they didn't want to help me.

We made a one night stop on our road trip so wanted to find some where cheap but clean and the Econolodge was just that. The hotel staff were friendly and the room was clean. Our bathroom was clean but only had one bar of soap for the whole bathroom and the toilet paper was almost empty. The breakfast was limited but was enough to get us back on the road. Overall we would stay here again.

Room was clean and quiet. Negatives: fridge was unplugged so had that musty smell, breakfast was horrible : runny hard boiled eggs, no milk for cereal, OJ tasted bad. Overall if just need a inexpensive place for peaceful sleep then it fits the bill.
