This is the only time I've ever checked out of a hotel before staying the night. The place was falling apart, the wall was held together by duct tape, smelled like cigarettes and mildew, no smoke detectors, it was filthy and full of roaches. When I laid down to sleep and turned off the lights, I felt something in the sheets. The bed was full of roaches, and something bit me. I checked out and went somewhere else for the night.

The vanity had roaches on everything put up there before going to bed. It all had to the thrown out. There was a roach in the protection cover for my tooth brush. There was a stink bug and some roaches in the shower. Advertised as non-smoking which wasn't true. There were smokers on each side of me and their morning smoke was obvious when I woke up. They locked up the office the next morning so there was no ability to voice a direct complaint or get a cup of coffee. By far the worse conditioned hotel I've ever experienced. By far.

A roach motel for sure. NOTHING like the pictures online. Walked in and was uncomfortable with the nastiness. Refrigerator dirty. Blood on the shower curtains. Dirty towels left on door. Showered with shoes on and checked out only after 1 hour. There were no other rooms available. Took pictures. Contacted customer service at expedia for refund to go somewhere else, nothing was done. Paid more money to go somewhere else to stay and was out of money spent on this hotel which was extremely unfortunate. Bad experience all the way around

The young guy staffing the desk overnight was wonderfully responsive after a late (1-2am) arrival. It seems like they have an employee room for overnights and he showed up to check us in within a few minutes. Unfortunately, the hotel itself is pretty disgusting. Trash all around the building and grounds, general grime, the roof is in a shambles, there's an unsecured storage area in plain view filled with old broken furniture, etc. Our room (208) had a strong smell of cigarettes and mold, causing an allergy flareup for both of us. There was exposed wiring sticking out of the wall for an old fire alarm. The floor was dirty/unvacuumed. The bathroom was literally caked with mold and black disgusting grout; we did not shower here. The trash hadn't even been taken out. Stay here if you're gonna die of exhaustion, otherwise find a cheap chain hotel with standards.

Hot water near to non existant. Holes in bathroom walls of shower. No coffee available, no breakfast available as advertised. Due to covid they clean room once a week. That's fine. However the 1 tiny bar of soap, tiny shampoo and conditioner is definitely not enough for a 3 night stay. Housekeeping was great. She not only cleans rooms, but also runs front desk on weekends .

Old privately owned hotel. Minimal upkeep. Carpet dirty. No smoking hotel and 1st room smelled of smoke and holes burn in bed covers. Receptacle in bath did not work. They did move me to a different room with better smell. Shower and curtain moldy. How hard is it to wash a shower curtain occasionally? Staff did not know how to program a room key. Offered free ice in lobby but did not have any ice available. Many other hotels in the area to stay at. OH - Free breakfast a piece of toast or cereal.

the hotel cancelled my appointment without telling me. they had no vacancy as well. which alludes that they rent the room i initially rented a week prior to someone else. the service was absent. what makes it worse, as i pulled in - i was getting notifications from hotels.com - asking me how my check in was. i demanded a refund from the hotel and they processed a “request” - refund gas not been given

Horrible. I reserved a room but after a 12-hour drive was told that they don't hold rooms after 7 p.m. No advice or help available. Clerk said he tried to call me but did not get in touch with me, which is no excuse since I had a reservation. I will never reserve at OYO again. I hope Hotels.com, a site that I trust, will consider not representing this chain in the future.

We made this reservation on February 3rd for a trip that started on Feb 15th. We flew from TX to Charlotte NC and then drove to the hotel in South Carolina... when we arrived at the hotel to check in, the clerk at the counter said that our reservation had been canceled and they had no more rooms available…….. I told them that I absolutely did not cancel my booking but they stated that they had no rooms available for us. We were forced to find accommodations elsewhere. I will never book a room at that dump again, and I will make sure that no one I know ever books a room there either!

We left several messages that we would be late due to emergency. Arrived at hotel 1 am. The room he gave us was filthy, muddy footprints, dirty, not cleaned. He said he thought we weren't coming and offered is a full refund as we did not stay. But have not received yet. Also even the sign oyo was just spray painted over an econo lodge sign. It was a terrible area too. Felt unsafe. Want my refund.
