We were baffled by a "smart TV" that we weren't smart enough to work. A hotel worker tried for 15 minutes to get it functioning and couldn't. She brought us a different TV and remote that worked well. The room was spacious and clean; however, it had no microwave. It has been a long time since we didn't have a microwave in a hotel room. They were very accommodating and brought us a microwave. Very good service. The shower/toilet area needs some updating--zero caulk between tub and wall.

It was an average hotel. Rooms had nice bedding and were very clean. Roomy too! There isn’t an elevator nor is there a cart to move your luggage in. Quite the conundrum when you have a plug in cooler. The free breakfast has bread, fruit loops, coffee & juice to offer. Meh.

Downsides- No microwave in room. No in-room coffee maker. Key cards work erratically. Upsides- newly redecorated rooms and throughout the property. Very nice decor. Good breakfast and good customer service. I would recommend to others.

We stayed here four nights. We were very fortunate that our room was ready in the morning when we went to ask about checking in early. We were greeted with warmth. Our stay was very enjoyable. We loved using the small, cozy lounge, the laundry room, the business desk with a computer, printer and paper shredder. We loved the popcorn in the lobby each afternoon and the cookies at 6pm. Coffee was always available. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The entire facility was immaculate and very pretty. After a two-month road trip, we felt especially grateful to have such a pleasant place to stay. Also, the hotel is located close to downtown, the beach, restaurants and offices which we needed to visit. Thank you to the staff who worked so hard during our stay.

Place was absolutely the cleanest hotel we have stayed at on our 2 week trip, smelled so clean everytime you walked in, and mist courteous employees of anywhere we stayed. Definitely will stay again at a Days Inn. Great job Coeur d'Alene!

The property is nicely located and is convenient to get to. The staff were friendly and the cookies available in the evening is a nice touch. The cleanliness could be a touch better. There was a tube of something under the sink and the hair dryer was covered with hair and dust. The fan on the air conditioner had a squeak as it shut down.

The outside needs lots of work. Windows were in bad shape. The facility was dirty and had a bad smell of mildew. Rooms were ok but the bathroom was dirty and the showers had ring a round the tub. The sink didn’t drain so we had to use very low pressure with the faucet. The lighting is poor. The curtains were old and from the 90s. The walls are extremely thin and I heard everything our southern neighbor were saying. That was interesting. I don’t recommend staying here.

Our stay here was great. Staff was very friendly and willing to assist with whatever our needs were. After a bad experience with a different motel chain which I won't mention here, we now inspect our room before we take our personal item into it. I was very impressed on the how clean or room was. It seems that these folks take cleanliness seriously. I could not have asked for more. It makes your trip so much nicer when you can find a good place to stay at an affordable price.

We booked a non smoking room but walking into the room we were transported back to 1990 and slapped in the face with cigarette smoke smell. I reported it to the front desk and was told since we paid for two queen bed and they only had king beds we were SOL. The toilet had trash behind it and hair ties in the room on the floor. The breakfast was cold/hard biscuits, gravy, burnt sausage patties, cereal but no spoons. The beds were ok but I’m glad we changed our minds and only booked 1 night. We tried opening the windows to let air in but the hotel is on a main road so the noise makes it so you can’t sleep. Save yourself and stay somewhere else.

It's was a decent enough place to stay. The air conditioning unit didn't work well. When it was on, it was blowing super cold air right at our face. When it would turn off, we were roasting. Everything else was pretty mediocre. Would stay here again because they had a room with two sleeping areas. Really nice when traveling with kids.

We had a nice large and comfortable suite. The kitchen area needed new counter tops, but the unit was very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. What we didn’t like was the $20 fee for checking in 1 hour early. Apparently this is a corporate policy. Don't understand this money grab when the room was ready.

Make sure to book on the 3rd floor if you don't like stomping overhead all night. Also was unable to watch tv or access apps for 4 out of the 7 days I stayed, due to "service" issues. Showers also don't drain while you shower, so you'll end up in a bathshower if you're not quick enough. Front desk clerks were nice along with the location.

The stay at Days Inn was ok. The rooms weren't super nice and the building has probably seen better days. The first room I got checked into on the ground floor back of building the window wouldn't lock when I told the staff they tried to brute force it, but it wasn't until they couldn't brute force it that they finally decided to get me a new room. The wifi was terrible, slow and low signal. Definitely not enough access points. At one point the tv in the room threw a connection error and my show buffered for about 30 minutes. They also served the same breakfast every morning all week. I was there Sun - Wed and it was biscuits and gravy every morning with sausage there was not other hot breakfast options.

First of all a big THANK YOU to all the staff, esp Ms. Brea (f/d pm Mgr.) at Day's Inn for making our 6 night business trip a memorable one. She accommodated us in every possible way. Even though there was a common office space to use, but I needed to have a desk in my room. She got me a desk and an chair inside my room. She along with others were always very helpful. Ms. Brea treated us like family and was always looking forward to help in any way possible. Thanks to all the staff at this location.. Even though this hotel is not new, everything was clean and in excellent working condition. They have basic free non hot breakfast provided, b'cos there was no kitchen. This is not a problem as there are a lot of small family owned cafe's around which you can enjoy daily. Oh, they service hot pop-corn and cookies daily in the afternoon :) The location is only within 15 minutes to downtown, major stores, scenic walking places, etc. I loved this place, staff and location. Will definitely be back and will stay here again. Thank you Ms. Brea and all the staff of Days Inn - Coeur d'Alene.

This property does not provide rubber bath mats for the shower floor. I fell injuring my knee. Upon reporting this to the staff I was met with apathy and told that I should have requested the mat for the tub. No television and no internet for over 32 hours was told by the staff that they don't know how to reset the router. Lastly was told that I need to get out within 20 minutes of checking out at the office. Very poor service with an apathetic staff

The location is convenient to any direction in the CDA region. The staff are beyond friendly and helpful, the whole hotel, from the lobby to the rooms, is clean. Breakfast is on the simple side but you can still get your basic food groups, it's fresh, tasty and filling. And oh boy, the cookies!

Property is well located Riverstone, Spokane River, with easy access to I90 and surrounding area. Rooms are quiet, mine being a mini-suite and comfortable. "Breakfast" does leave a bit to be desired, with no real hot food. The property is generally clean and quiet, but also a bit dated. All said and done, value is good and would stay again.

Number one is that the complimentary breakfast is less than stellar. The only thing about the instant oatmeal was I instantly through it away. If I was a burly truck driver, which I am not, I would like a dry sausage patty and a biscuit smothered in thick gravy. Other than some fruit in a single service cup that was it. Coffee not much to savor either. The afternoon cookies were great though. How about some pastries or toast. The king bed was nice but the mattress cover did not fit. Too small. Just bunched up under us. Need a clothes hook in bathroom.
