Upon checking into my room, I noticed that I did not have bath towels. The telephone in the room did not work, so I had to return to the front desk to make a request for towel. I finally received towels after a second request and a three hour wait. It appeared to be a lack of hot water in the building. Unfortunately, I am not exaggerating when I say that I had to run the water for 25 minutes before it was hot enough to take a comfortable shave and shower. This occurred each time that I prepared to take a shower.

The rooms are outdated, nothing like the pictures the bathroom room it was dirty the wallpaper on the walls its dirty with spots on them. Then room carpet its so gross that you walk barefoot inside the room and you feet are black. The beds are not queens beds they are more like full size beds. Small for two adults to sleep in. The room smell so much to bleach that i had allergies. The Hallways carpet had dirty spots and bleach on the carpet. Needs more cleaning overall. The pool was freezing and the jacuzzi was closed with plywood on top and plants all around. Not much to do if you have kids.

Room Keys were used to operate the Elevator our keys did not work, had to go and get a second set made. The refrigerator was warmer then the room temperature. The ice machine did not work on the tenth floor, so we could not get ice easily. The water in the shower had very little cold water, water came out extremely hot on the cold water setting. Left after first day.

There was no fridge in my room had to get an engineer that never came or responded. Do not let your children swim in the pool at night the lights are not on and never are on. Stains on the carpet in the room and out of the room. Wanna go workout well good luck it’s like a maze trying to get in there but I’ve got a say it looks nice.no safe and we almost lost our do not disturb sign. The food did not look right and the pictures are nothing like the hotel. If you do stay here go to Atlanta where you’ll actually find some really nice food. I’ve definitely been to better hotels but it was ok there was also a broken ice machine on the tenth floor.

Enjoyed the bar staff and food was excellent. Hotel was renovating. Loud noise from drilling g until 11 pm. No ice machines worked from floor 5 to 8. We stayed on 7th floor. Housekeeping had to be called to clean room and get hand towels. Checked out early. Informed front desk of early departure. Was told could not get refund for early check out.

This was my second visit to Sonesta Gwinnett as I was very impressed with first stay. Not sure if I would return to this location. Staff and check in was good and quick to process. Upon exiting the elevator, the floor visibly looked unkept as it needed vacuuming and stains in carpet. Room was okay but skirt on bed was stained. Very disappointed as I love its location.

Our bathroom had used washcloth hanging from the shower curtain rod. Our patio had trash in the corner ( used cup and napkins). We had to go ask for towels. And nobody picked up our room the 3 days we stayed or brought more coffee pods.

Bathtub and shower was dirty. Carpet dirty. Lights didn’t work in the bathroom. Tub was especially dirty the walls so let me repeat. The bed was ok and appeared clean. The remote had crud built up all over it. Very dusty and very musty smelling. Sorry. Have to be honest. The pictures online didn’t reflect the room I stayed in for sure. Checked out the inspection report at the front desk and was in disbelief about some of the items that had to be “reinspected”

We were initially given a key to someone else’s room, that was a surprise to open! Once the room was corrected (king with sofa sleeper) no linens were available in room to use for sofa sleeper. Called the front desk and made a 3rd trip down to get bed linens. The rooms were very outdated but clean enough. Looks like they are in the process of a remodel as the lobby and the rooms do not match.

We stayed on the 15th floor. There was construction at the time of our stay, Aug 22-24. We couldn't sleep in on Saturday due to the construction noise that started at 7:00 am. and we had arrived on Friday at 11:30 pm. Saturday night, there was party noise through 3:00 am and no security staff on site, and to make matters worse, at or around 5:00 am there was a couple screaming at each other next door or two doors down.

Used to be a great place. Although clean, needs an upgrade. Unruly guest allowed to spoil atmosphere despite many complaints (for 8 hours) from many other guest! Poor security. Church of God in Christ group had parents who neglected in rooms while holding meetings.A Pandamonious playground of dangerous roughhousing in rooms and hallways with Disrespectfully Lying children refusing to settle down. some maids were trying to locate parents to no avail. Front desk failed to address complaints due to lack of urgency and/or intelligence.

Loved the stay!! The responsiveness of the front desk is outstanding! I have had fresh towels fresh breakfast and fresh smiles everyday! I appreciate the staff so much! I have to do some more name drops for this amazing service! So shout out to Sartorial, Daisy and can't forget Gia!! If I missed anyone, this review is for you!! Sonesta still reigns supreme for there pillow top beds and amazing views of Gwinnett!! I recommend this hotel for anyone looking for comfort and affordability, and a amazing breakfast.

Never a bad stay when I come here. A couple things I did not like this time. 1. At check-in the attendant was not welcoming. Normally check ins are great! Not this time. 2. There was some kind of dragon conference and the hotel was packed. I love that for Sonesta, but guests were bad about slamming doors throughout the night. 3. Someone brought their dog into the dining area during breakfast, not ok. 4. We had to switch rooms twice. 1st room the water would not get hot, 2nd room the heat did not work. The room switches were a little chaotic because I turned my keys in and left items in both rooms so I needed additional keys to get back in both rooms. The first attendant that assisted was amazing! The second attendant, not so much. Main thing was I did not like all the questions regarding the room switches. I’d already explained what the issues were. I became agitated when she asked if there was a reason why I wanted to switch, she said they don’t switch rooms without getting the problem resolved and that she could send maintenance. The 1st attendant had already made the switch. We just needed to get our belongings out the other rooms. It made me feel some kind of way. I did not want the other two rooms and for the safety of my sister and I, I did not want anyone in our room. I stay at Sonesta for many factors, customer care is one. I was disappointed this time. I will still be back soon. Hoping it will be better next time.

There was a conference at the hotel the same weekend my husband and I were there with our baby. On Saturday night, a crowd of people headed back to their rooms but we're very loud at 3am and woke me up. At 4am, someone was lasting music very loudly. I called front desk and the woman was very rude and unapologetic and said she would send security. I'm not sure where it was coming from...the music stopped 40 mins later for 10 minutes and came back on. I called again and I asked if they found who it was, she said she wasn't sure but would tell security again. It went on until 530am. My baby woke up and it was so frustrating. No customer service and didn't seem to try. Couldn't even tell me the status of what happened. No turn down service or housekeeping so our room smelled of diapers all weekend. Hotel claimed to be remodeled, but they failed to mention that it was only the lobby. Rooms definitely were not. We were in preferred king. The ice machine on our floor was out of service. There was a giant patch of the ceiling that looked like it had a previous leak. AC would blast to your face. I had to turn the temperature to 73. Wouldnt stay again.

Buffet Breakfast rules are ridiculous. I tried to go get an english muffin to take to my room for a conference call so I didn't have time to eat the breakfast that day, and didn't have time the other 2 mornings either, so of the 4 mornings I only got breakfast once, because of the stupid rules. Please change this ! people having to evacuate and work from hotels due to a hurricane, may not always have the time to dine in. This is the only Hotel I have ever stayed at where I could not take breakfast back to my room. Terrible rule.

Great hotel, clean, quiet, and comfy beds but the buffet was absolutely not worth the money. For $16 a person go to a restaurant. It literally was water logged scrambled eggs, plain grits, potatoes, bacon, and the standard muffins, yogurt, and bread.

Drink menus wasn’t bad and the staff was nice. Restaurant was dated with a very limited menu and high priced for cold food and greasy fish. Parking spaces were dangerously close some with trees and planters that could tear up a bumper but clean.

The property had damages to the television and to the wall. They did not give another room for the inconvenience. The staff at the breakfast buffet were not polite and tried to sit 6 people at a four person table twice. And noticed another black family only going through the same issue. Prejudice!

It was a excellent state I would definitely be staying at more hotels like this it was great to have a open bar that we can go down to it was nice knowing that we had the options that we could have dinner at the hotel if we wanted and it was nice to have a nice breakfast where we had choices of what we wanted we definitely enjoyed staying at this hotel and we will be checking out more hotels like this and our future travels

Breakfast with a price but buffet style was nice. The was restaurant you can walk across road to get to, they had a vending machines and a restaurant inside as an option as well. The bed was very nice compared to all the places I’ve been to so far! Everything was clean and staff was nice but the place is a bit confusing and the key cards for security reasons is great and all besides the fact it’s hard to get the scanner to read them for your floor number to be selected but other helped me with that! Very friendly and nice place ^w^

Hotel was clean. Very quiet location. Store in the hotel was a little pricy. Dined at the restaurant the night we arrived. Food was actually pretty good. Drinks were ok. Restaurant staff was very nice. Overall a great stay.
